Ousmane Diomande being looked at as a replacement should Konate refuse to sign a deal.
Ed001 what’s your thoughts on this fella? He had rave reviews a season ago as I watch the Portuguese football back then but not seen any football this year as I’m away.
1.) 14 May 2025 10:49:47
I was wondering about his availability the other day, looks a really good prospect, good defender and has great ball skills. Definitely a good shout if Huijsen is off elsewhere.
2.) 14 May 2025 13:54:12
Big Jump to the PL but defiantly a talent.
3.) 14 May 2025 17:25:46
Who is the the inter Milan RCB impressed every time I see him?
09 May 2025 18:45:29
Ed001
Would Inter be open to allowing Dumfries to leave this summer?
He would be a great option for RB and RW cover
Also, Gomes (Wolves) is he available and would wolves be willing to lose Cunha, Gomes and possibly Ait-Nouri all in one window?
{Ed001's Note - Inter were before their good run in the Champions League, now they might not need to sell.
Wolves have little choice on Cunha, but Gomes and Ait-Nouri they will sell for the right price. They have already brought in players for their positions to slot in. Not sure who would want to buy Ait-Nouri though, he is not good enough. He is at the right level for his ability now.}
1.) 09 May 2025 22:54:55
Dumfries is 29, not in the age profile we should be looking at.
2.) 10 May 2025 11:27:52
Why? What happens when you are 29? We just gave 2 year contracts to a 33 and a 32 year old. Perhaps the skills profile outweighs the age profile?
3.) 10 May 2025 06:20:29
Dumfries another Dutch player we will have most of the Dutch national team at Anfield the way it going.
16 Apr 2025 03:43:29
Been told that we are working on a deal for Huijsen I posted on here a long time ago that we were watching him and I recall Ed’s 001 saying he was struggling in a poor Bournemouth side at the time, but he has improved and has been watched for well over a year.
This could be a deal that actually happens guys and girls!
1.) 16 Apr 2025 06:52:56
Really like the look of the lad
Looks like he’s got everything you’d want in a centre half.
2.) 16 Apr 2025 07:15:17
Certainly seems the best choice for cb that I know of. Already played a season in premiership, young and if rumoured release price is 50m not crazy money.
3.) 16 Apr 2025 07:40:13
Get him and Tah on Free. we can let go Gomez and Quanshah or keep one of them and let go Konate if he is not ready for new deal.
4.) 16 Apr 2025 08:40:18
I do like Huijsen. Confidence and calmness on the ball, quality passing range and he obviously reads the game well and wins if not most of his duels.
My one concern is that he does go to ground to make tackles at times. One abilty VVD has that stands above everyone else is his abilty to use his pace, strength and postional sense to stay in his feet and keep things calm.
When I see someone diving in, slide tackling, it suggests to me that he is sometimes out of position.
Obviously young enough to improve on this.
Just wandering what everyone else's thoughts are.
5.) 16 Apr 2025 09:24:40
Need to be careful about our home grown quota esp if both English cb’s leave. Aside from Delap not a lot of talk about home grown players.
Thoughts?
6.) 16 Apr 2025 09:50:32
If the club can get Huijsen would be a great buy, personally I think a summer of Kerkez or Ait Nouri, Huijsen, Ola Aina on a Free as defensive buys would be great Aina to compete with Bradley at right back. for the forward line it's much more difficult I think we need to sell Nunez and Jota? or at least Nunez and bring in a proper number 9.
{Ed001's Note - Aina is not on a free, he just signed a new deal.}
7.) 16 Apr 2025 10:00:35
Was it Paolo Maldini who said.
If I have to make a tackle I have already made a mistake.
8.) 16 Apr 2025 10:25:55
oh has he just signed Ed? I thought he was still not signing at the moment shame I think he would have been good with Bradley competing if Trent did go.
9.) 16 Apr 2025 10:30:21
dcal, we don't have as much of an issue with HG players as you might think. I posted about this last week and if you search for "McConnell" my post will come up from 10 Apr 25.
Quite aside from that, Slot does seem to favour a smaller rotation hence even if we had no HGs next year, we would still have access to 17 players plus as many U21s as we want.
Given that we have 6 HG players now, plus a further 3 who will qualify as HG next season (the ones who are currently U21), even with leavers (of which Trent is almost certain) we shouldn't have a problem.
Add to which, some of the players who will immediately go into the first team squad (if not the first 11) that we are being linked with - Huijsen, Hato, Gittens and Malick Fofana for example - will still be U21 in the 25-26 season hence will be available in addition to the 17 non-HG and upto 8 HG players.
10.) 16 Apr 2025 10:39:50
I think it's a case of we HAVE to get Huisen. I do think they were disappointed that Yoro chose the money at United and that they won't want to miss out on this young'un with Virgil's succession planning in progress.
Let's see if Dickie can do it!
11.) 16 Apr 2025 12:14:38
I hope, above all else, that some young players, new or old, and preferably not the 50m kind are able to step up next season and form part of the playing squad.
Slot is supposed to be a champion of Youth, and our youth set up is leagues behind CFC and MCFC at the moment.
Those young players bring some verve and hunger than can be lacking at times, and we need a core group.
Eds, any idea where Chriss Rigg is going and what he's likely to cost?
{Ed001's Note - I don't know mate, I am not sure he will leave this summer. He is not pushing for a move right now.}
12.) 16 Apr 2025 12:59:45
Huijsen still needs much work in the weight room, he is quite lean for a CB imo.
Ed001 and members, do you have thoughts on why Quansah has seemed to struggle this year? Confidence?, Slot's system?
Have such high hopes for baby Virgil
Would Bornemouth really sell us two of there starting defenders even with the Hughes connection?
{Ed001's Note - because he is not good enough. Was vastly overrated by Liverpool fans and is not being protected by the midfield now, so his flaws are more obvious.}
13.) 16 Apr 2025 13:33:29
I think Quansah has shown that he isint at the Liverpool level, still only young so has time to develop but no better than van den berg or other youngsters which we were happy to leave.
14.) 16 Apr 2025 16:44:37
@Vango - we have been watching Rigg for some time, as have other clubs. He’s viewed as a real prospect and already capable. My pal scouts for Sunderland (I lived there for 20 years) and has told me numerous times we have had interest in him. Would be expensive I think for his age but an excellent investment.
15.) 16 Apr 2025 19:01:20
Do u know ed1 is this Rigg lad from Sunderland as good as they say? I've read he has the best potential in England since Bellingham came threw.
{Ed001's Note - looks fantastic mate.}
16.) 16 Apr 2025 20:42:09
@Gaga it was actually baresi who said it but for some reason everyone always misattributed it to Paolo.
Fitting either way since maldini also tried to avoid diving in. Personally I'd love to sign huijsen he'd be worth every penny and would totally erase any worries when van dijk retires.
17.) 17 Apr 2025 02:44:24
Shame Baresi in his prime isn’t available. The chorus of we’d never pay that much would be deafening.
18.) 17 Apr 2025 13:01:01
The ideal would be Bastoni at £60m, he’s a racehorse.
Huijsen, if we signed him, should stay at Bournemouth on loan. That’s an excellent set up and he’d get 45 games in the year. He wouldn’t get that with us.
He’d also be working under a top manager there.
19.) 17 Apr 2025 19:15:49
Whyowhy I'm done with buying players and loaning them back out. He'd be 3rd choice behind virg and konate. and konate gets regular injuries so he'll get plenty of chance to become vvd partner. Gomez should be sold and quansah still needs time and used as 4th choice.
No more buying players and loaning them out. What a waste of valuable funds.
11 Apr 2025 04:04:07
After the recent news on Salah and VVD looking positive, I think Konate might be the one to go. None of us really have a clue what’s going to happen, but I hope it’s something like this:
Sold: Nunez, Jota, Diaz, Morton, Endo, Konate, Tsimikas, Kelleher and possibly Elliott?
Leaving on Free: TAA
New Signing: Frimpong, Hato, Cunha, Ederson, Rogers, Ekitike
Of the above, Rogers, Ekitike, Cunha, Ederson would all be £60m plus Frimpong and Hato £35m each maybe? Close to £350m outlay but all improve our team.
Of the sales I would say we could recoup £250m
Morton, Endo, Tsimikas and less so Elliott rarely play so won’t be missed.
It makes sense to me.
1.) 11 Apr 2025 07:09:06
Way too many senior players being sold. Don't see that happening especially with next season being a World Cup season where players would want guarantees.
Konate will stay in my opinion. Nunez, Kelleher, Tsimikas, Endo, Morton and Doak will be sold. Not sure on Diaz.
Maybe Lewis Hall, Kerkez, Ederson. Not sure on Frimpong. Not sure on the striker as well.
2.) 11 Apr 2025 07:34:08
For me shughes that too many of your regular team sold in 1 window, nunez+ jota have played fair bit and diaz+konate regulars plus trent going who regulars. that 5 taken out which 2 many for me. I'd like something like this:
Out:nunez, tsimaskas, gomez, kelleher and morton. There will also be some who want to leave probably endo+ elliott, I'd rather keep them and use more often next season but I'd say they want to go.
Trent leaving on free.
Ins: mama (2nd choice keeper if he prepared to be 2nd choice) huysen for cb, rb munoz of palace i like but dunno if feasible. Lb = kerkez as good as I can see. Cm= physical presence whoever the best for that job. Striker/ forward = cunha
Really far too much in and outs but that the problem when u kick can Down the road.
3.) 11 Apr 2025 08:31:36
I doubt Slot has in mind the shopping lists that fans have.
4.) 11 Apr 2025 08:50:21
I’d keep konate his performances this season have been class, yes a few mistakes recently but he’s been available a lot more and earlier this season people on here were raving about him. this happens to every player who dips in form that we want them out or 5here not good enough, twists my melons
Hope ibou signs a new deal.
5.) 11 Apr 2025 13:14:16
I suspect three players in. RB, LB/ CB and Striker/ RW.
Personally I’d also like one more midfielder but we shall see.
6.) 11 Apr 2025 13:31:44
@shughes55 - I think you need to add Doak to your list of potential exits.
7.) 11 Apr 2025 18:00:03
Yes boss Doak should be on the list too.
8.) 12 Apr 2025 06:18:27
I’m ok if Konate leaves to be honest - injury issues mean he’s in and out of the team, I don’t think he’s played that well when he has been in the team, and he’s apparently keen on PSG. Get some money for him, but someone else, he isn’t irreplaceable by any stretch.
9.) 12 Apr 2025 07:11:56
Not having a go - just an observation - most teams have had their fair share of injuries and (without checking any stats at all) it seems that the number of injuries for most clubs is growing year on year. The intensity of the game and the number of games played is taking a toll and getting rid of a player who has had a number of injuries doesn’t mean that the replacement is going to be injury free these days.
10.) 12 Apr 2025 10:31:24
Konate will go to PSG to injury prone never get a full season out of him or Jota needs moving on. VVD played nearly every game except when rested says it all.
04 Apr 2025 17:15:52
Lots of reports today stating we are looking at Ederson again from Atalanta. Would love this to be true.
Ederson, Hato, Kerkez, Cunha would be a great summer for me with a Nunez replacement too.
1.) 04 Apr 2025 17:28:58
wouldn't Cunha be a Nunez replacement?
2.) 04 Apr 2025 18:00:23
Wouldn't he be a jota replacement?
3.) 04 Apr 2025 18:57:17
Bang on Magico much more a Jota replacement by some margin too. We need a different type to replace Nunez.
4.) 04 Apr 2025 19:01:06
Good player why would we wait a year to sign a midfielder when the one we waited for we could have just gotten last year.
5.) 04 Apr 2025 19:08:16
I think we can replace Nunez and Jota with one incoming. I'm hoping Danns is able to step up. Eds or anyone know how he's doing on loan?
6.) 04 Apr 2025 19:08:16
Wishful thinking you forget who owns the club .
7.) 04 Apr 2025 19:29:04
€60-65m great deal in my mind. The owners will spend if they need to, I don’t get the negativity, they have made the club profitable and won’t allow us to take on unnecessary or additional debt, that’s a good thing, no?
8.) 04 Apr 2025 20:34:49
Behave Shug, they don’t spend when they need to. Which is why they’ve won one title in their 15 years. A bit of extra quality during the Klopp tenure could have inched us over. Additionally, supplementing a winning team should be factored in to the thinking.
9.) 04 Apr 2025 20:43:42
Couldn't agree more shughes.
10.) 04 Apr 2025 21:46:24
If the owners had access to seemingly unlimited state funded sponsorships the club would certainly have won more cups, titles and fans appreciation.
Assuming we win the league in the next few weeks, which we will, another way of looking at it is we have won :
2 PLs, 1 CL,1 World Club Championship, 1 European Super Cup, 1 FA Cup and 2 League Cups in the past 6 years., which is a total of 8 trophies
In the same period
Arsenal have won 1 FA Cup,
Chelsea have won 1 Europa League, 1 Euro Super Cup and 1 WCC
Manchester United won 1 FA Cup and 1 League Cup
Newcastle have won 1 League Cup
Which collectively is a total of 7 trophies.
if a sovereign state wasn’t fielding a footy team we would have won a fair few more trophies in the last six years and as for the rest listed, if ever you wanted proof that spending hundreds of millions isn’t (unlike when we play computer games) necessarily the solution that you might think it is.
Ed025 - I’m doing a search for Everton’s latest trophy win, mate. The last message I got from the search engine was ‘hang on this might take a bit of time’.
{Ed025's Note - we have been in a bit of a slump lately WDW but now that slump is over mate, we are on the way up and your lot will be one of the casualties, mark my words..
11.) 04 Apr 2025 22:17:14
Casualties is definitely the correct word ed25!
{Ed025's Note - half of your team need to take up chess Digger, and they would still be rolling around mate.. :)
12.) 04 Apr 2025 23:00:10
I’m going to tell my dad on you 25 ?.
{Ed025's Note - snitch.. :)
13.) 04 Apr 2025 23:55:42
Didn't Everton win a draw against us at Goodison not too long ago?
{Ed025's Note - that just shows how poor the standard is this season Hanif, there is not much between our teams mate which tells us that you are going to win the weakest league ever..
14.) 05 Apr 2025 07:20:28
U did leave bit of opening there in fairness ed25!
{Ed025's Note - i did mate...im losing my touch.. :)
15.) 05 Apr 2025 08:13:15
Maybe you're right 25 mate, but I'll personally be surprised if Everton aren't in another relegation scrap next season.
{Ed025's Note - i cant see that happening Bmena, next season will be about steady progress and consolidation mate and we will finish top half, the season after we will be coming for you...you have been warned.. :)
16.) 05 Apr 2025 09:48:06
Nah, I think eVARton will do just fine next season. Just have the likes of Barrott and Tierney man the officiating for 10-15 games and it will be smooth sailing for Moyes. ???.
{Ed025's Note - we dont need any help ArAy, we are on the way up mate and with new owners and the best ground in the country there will be nothing stopping us from progressing, Moyes will do fine for the initial transition and will be replaced in a year or two when top 6 will be the aim..
17.) 05 Apr 2025 09:56:52
You won’t be coming after us with Moyes Ed mate.
And he will be there next year undoubtedly for ye with how well it’s gone last few months. That will ware off though and you’ll be back in the dog fight ;)
{Ed025's Note - i think thats more in hope than expectation on your part Joe, in our 2 encounters this season there was not much between the teams which just shows how poor the league has been this season, we are on the up and with a few good signings will be a lot stronger whereas you will be losing players and will be in transition i expect, it bodes well for an interesting season on Merseyside mate and you will definitely be a shift in the balance of power...you have been warned.. :)
18.) 05 Apr 2025 10:51:22
Liverpool were drawn into a dogfight with the ball in the air for much of the game at goodison, ed, slot will have learned from that and surely won't allow it to happen again. As for the game a few days ago, Everton did absolutely nothing whatsoever in the second half once Slot made adjustments at half time. This is his first year in the league and his first time coaching the Merseyside derby and he still got 4 points despite our team playing relatively poorly in both games (should have got 6 if not for dodgy refereeing and a tarkowski wonder goal that 9 times out of 10 would have flown wide), surely that isn't solid proof that the gap between our teams is as small as you think.
{Ed025's Note - 2 goals against 3 tells me different PB, and we were the better side at Goodison mate...well in my opinion..
19.) 05 Apr 2025 10:55:35
You should tell your dad WDW.
Maybe he can recall last time Everton were great :-)
(Sorry for the cheapshot)
20.) 05 Apr 2025 11:13:07
I look forward to it Ed mate.
Dare I say I have a soft spot for the Blues!
I think with 4 or 5 really good signings. Everton could push for European places.
But not with moyes.
Interesting with the new stadium and all the money where ye can go!
{Ed025's Note - we should do ok i think Joe but you can never tell, i have seen quite a few false dawns in my time mate..
21.) 05 Apr 2025 11:47:15
Delusional Ed025 I’m afraid.
{Ed025's Note - we all are when it comes to our own teams Tom, but i have warned you mate so you cant say you were not warned.. :)
22.) 05 Apr 2025 11:59:25
Sure you were the better side ed, but that's exactly my point, even when moyes' game plan worked and slot was outmanoeuvred as a rookie in the Merseyside derby you still couldn't win and had to rely on a wondergoal from a clear foul at the death to dig you out and get a point, at anfield you didn't have a single shot on goal and then did nothing when slot worked out how to shut you out in the second half. I don't know why you would assume that slot would get worse as he grows into the league rather than better, is what I'm saying.
Getting 4 points from the Merseyside derby as a rookie manager in the league and your team playing below average for about half of the two games is an achievement and not a demerit on slot's resume as far as I'm concerned.
{Ed025's Note - the thing is PB Slot inherited a very strong team mate, if you lose a couple and replace the ones you need to its a bit of a rebuild, so then we will really see how good spam head really is .. :)
23.) 05 Apr 2025 12:20:10
It's a strong team but one that has very very clear shortcomings, shortcomings that Moyes didn't manage to fully exploit, nor did he even show a whole lot of appetite to exploit, as seen in the second half at anfield.
When we played at goodison it was near the end of a very punishing run and players were tired, the last thing Liverpool needed was a game where we needed to win 50-50s everywhere on the pitch, but we still were one second away from winning.
You can look at things from another perspective, if we can keep Virgil and ideally Mo we can address the weaknesses in the team that have been exposed this year, and a strong team becomes even stronger, I have every confidence that will be the case. Without Trent I think we lose a lot, but the focal point for progressing the ball will shift somewhere else in our team, that's all.
It's rather fanciful thinking that Everton will invest well given that they have pretty much been the worst in the premier league at doing so besides united the last few years, but maybe you can unearth another n'diaye type signing. Still, you're probably going to lose branthwaite and who knows, maybe somebody is going to buy garner and then you're in trouble.
24.) 05 Apr 2025 14:26:07
Ed025, every time I see Harrison play I always ask myself "what is that man doing on a football pitch? ". On the pages of GQ or Men's Vogue I would understand. ??.
{Ed025's Note - I’m with you on that ArAy. He is pathetic mate..
25.) 05 Apr 2025 14:57:38
Lot's of reports? I do not see ONE? Is Ederson going to come to LFC and split minutes with Berch? I think that ship is sailed. I would be looking at Endo type/ level squad replacement if he leaves for cover.
26.) 06 Apr 2025 19:05:58
I think you are going to have to rebait that hook edd025. The bites out of the first one have cleaned it to the barb. ? ?.
{Ed025's Note - im not a WUM Mbwell just a football fan with opinions mate, you may not agree with all i say and thats fine...but i will opine anyway..

Wrong end of the age scale I know, but who would take Watkins at £45m for the next 5 years?
To me, a better option (apart from Isak) than all the others we are linked with.
1.) 15 May 2025 20:30:52
Nope, found his level at Villa.
2.) 15 May 2025 20:41:33
He’s a good player to be fair but Villa would rinse us for him and he’s 29 so there is absolutely no resale value there. It would be a gamble but he’d improve our team in the immediate term as he’s better than Jota or Nunez.
3.) 15 May 2025 20:58:48
For that figure, I'd say yes.
But I can hear Viktor cracking his knuckles ready to reply.
4.) 15 May 2025 21:34:11
Who’s put a 45mil price tag on him?
5.) 15 May 2025 21:50:03
He likes to play off the left, hence why rashford was starting through the middle when he was fit.
6.) 15 May 2025 22:55:42
I would. I said it on the chat. Think he'd be a reasonably priced, attainable proven premier league goalscorer. He might well have found his level at Villa Ron but we produce more chances than Villa and he takes more chances than our strikers do. Would take him all day for 40 mil. He'd easy get 20 league goals upfront for us.
7.) 16 May 2025 01:21:42
He's the main man for AV and he has never broken past 20 league games for them because his finishing is poor. He needs multiple chances to finish just one. I'd stay well clear.
8.) 16 May 2025 03:35:29
How does Watkins improve on what we already have? This is a guy we would've looked at 10 years ago, he is prime Danny Ings or Christian Benteke level. He's good at best at a lower tier club, so he isn't going to pull up stumps at Liverpool.
9.) 16 May 2025 07:05:29
I’ve got 2 mates who are Villa fans and they’d gladly see the back of him
Not sure on the stats and they may prove them wrong but he misses loads of chances
For a CF who in essence has the way the team play built around him - not getting 20 league goals ever shows a lack of quality.
10.) 16 May 2025 07:06:54
Watkins has 16 goals and 7 assists in the prem this season. 19 goals and 13 assists last season. that's more than any of our players except Mo. So he doesn't only score he also creates. Perhaps Villa are lower team than us but they got to the champions league quarter finals didn't they? So they're a good team. And he is a good, hard working striker who scores goals. If he played for a better team who create more of the apparently many chances he needs then wouldn't he score more?
11.) 16 May 2025 07:26:57
Red Willis but does he cause chaos. In this day and age that’s what some LFC fans want in a striker.
A made up stat that can’t actually be measured.
12.) 16 May 2025 07:26:00
He’s certainly better than Nunez.
14 May 2025 02:37:25
Ousmane Diomande being looked at as a replacement should Konate refuse to sign a deal.
Ed001 what’s your thoughts on this fella? He had rave reviews a season ago as I watch the Portuguese football back then but not seen any football this year as I’m away.
{Ed001's Note - I have not seen him mate, I don't really get to see Portugese football these days.}
1.) 14 May 2025 08:32:06
I have seen him play 5 or 6 full games for the Ivory Coast, very similar player and frame to Konate but smoother on the ball, not as strong or good in the air yet but looked a very promising CB.
2.) 14 May 2025 11:41:49
Its just a pain he is also affected by AFCON. But if we also buy someone like Hato and a RB backup who can cover in the middle then all good. Certainly looks promising in clips.
I know links have gone quiet of late, but I haven't given up on Tah. If Huijsen is going to RM (likely but not certain) then Hato, Tah on a free and Frimpong, with Konate, Tsimikas and Quansah leaving would be virtually cost neutral. Also, Frimpong is HG so would compensate for Trent leaving, Hato is U21 for a season or two and Tah would replace Konate, leaving a non-HG berth opening up from Tsimikas.
Further forward, selling Jota and Nunez would hopefully pay for a striker (and if the sriker is non-HG which is likely given names we are being linked to, then frees up another non-HG berth) . Another attacking option is covered through Frimpong and possibly someone like Doak who I'd like to see given a chance.
In midfield, selling Jones or Elliot (I would prefer to keep Elliot) as well as maybe Morton would free up frunds to bring in someone like Stiller or the chap with the name starting with J who is up there with Zubimendi.
We would also sell Kellehen, and on that basis, I wonder whether we could afford Isak?
In terms of HG, we'd have Jaros, Gomez, Frimpong, Bradley, Elliot, possibly Owen Beck. Players like Bajcetic (if he returns) Doak etc still are U21.

Ed001
Who would you pick if you could buy two forwards for the club, with Nunez and Jota both going (maybe to KSA)
The club have set a budget of £150m overall.
{Ed001's Note - Isak would be the ideal, but that is probably not possible. So Cunha and to be honest, I don't really see any outstanding candidate. Each of the other options have so many weak points to their game that none of them are ideal. Any that are going to the AFCON have to be ruled out, we lose Mo for that and we can't afford to lose another forward as well. That leaves limited options. Lautaro Martinez would be good, but again probably out of reach for this summer. If Alvarez is possible, then he would be great, but you don't want a player who is unhappy because his family hate it in England. Maybe someone like Sesko, who could be coached and brought on by Slot, is the answer?}
1.) 12 May 2025 08:58:23
Sesko in a heartbeat.
2.) 12 May 2025 09:40:33
If not Isak or Alvarez, then Cunha.
I have concerns that Sesko will have the same issues as Darwin. Would be a big risk imo.
Ekitike has better touch / close control than Sesko, so I’d choose him if we are to take another risk.
With Lautaro unlikely, I wonder whether his compatriot Retegui is worth a look?
3.) 12 May 2025 11:18:59
Do you think it likely we make a move for Cunha Ed? I know United are apparently "leading the race" although I don't take too much notice of articles like that. Prefer to hear your views mate!
{Ed001's Note - I don't see a better option out there, so I would like to think we would as we have tracked him this season.}
4.) 12 May 2025 11:53:40
Exactly the response I was hoping for! I'd be pretty chuffed if we got him tbh. Let's hope he doesn't want to drop down a step :-)
5.) 12 May 2025 12:01:55
Sesko 100%, he could be the next moulded superstar we produce.
09 May 2025 02:25:02
Mbeumo to replace Jota seems like a good idea Ed001 what’s your thoughts?
If we added Ekitike too or another to replace Nunez then that has to be improvement for the team overall.
{Ed001's Note - Mbeumo usually plays off the right, so not sure how that would replace Jota. I do like Mbeumo though.}
1.) 09 May 2025 08:46:16
I’d like Mbeumo to help out on the right when Salah needs a rest. Am sure he could play other positions as well.
2.) 09 May 2025 09:42:59
Problem with that is Salah almost never needs a rest even if he does! Mbuemo is Afcon bound too so not like he can come in for Salah when he is away.
3.) 09 May 2025 11:22:08
That's the issue, ArneSlotsBarber. Salah will play every game when fit (which is every time, btw) so not sure he is a solution.
06 May 2025 04:05:44
He had his head turned over a year ago when his best mate went to Real. TAA likes the models, flash life and at 26 who can blame him?
Good luck TAA, hope we spank Real and TAA has a shocker in the CL next season.
I like Bradley, but he has a lot to learn, and his fitness record is poor, I would agree that Aina would be a decent solution on a free for 3 years whilst Bradley develops.
1.) 06 May 2025 06:57:51
Deffo. Aina on a free is a no brainer IMO while Bradley develops.
2.) 06 May 2025 07:17:39
Just like Tsimiskas developed. Sign more and more medicore to remain back up and they will always remain backups.

15 May 2025 16:30:43
Not good enough for Liverpool RM, he doesn’t get past VVD, Konate for sure.
{Ed001's Note - I am with you, not right for us.}
12 May 2025 02:53:58
Would make lots of sense.
09 May 2025 00:15:21
The club will make a move for Hato.
29 Apr 2025 02:31:56
The club won’t sell Nunez for £35m no way! We will get somewhere around the £50m with add ons based on performance.
He was poor from the start for me, very erratic and I am glad to see him go. I would be happy to see Jota go too but only because he is so injury prone.
Two forwards, LB, CB and AM is the requirement.
28 Apr 2025 03:02:34
Allisson will go next summer, he wants to return to Brazil.
15 May 2025 02:38:23
Clean sheet for Bologna too, Beukema anyone?
14 May 2025 17:08:30
Diomande would be an ideal replacement for Konate.
13 May 2025 02:02:17
Rogers 100%.
12 May 2025 18:01:08
Get involved Bazza lad, hope you and the boy have a belter weekend mate.
I’m making my way home from Arabia to enjoy the party too!
09 May 2025 16:39:19
They would t they would have got beaten in the final by Inter.
