Papers are saying we have agreed a deal "in principle" for Keita, I genuinely believe they get their transfer news from this website.

1.) 30 Jun 2017 18:59:25
I'm getting the feeling he's not interested in coming to us after everything I'm reading.

2.) 30 Jun 2017 20:28:18
He was never really interested and RBL are not interested in selling. Why we cannot take a hint and move on, is doing my head in. The kid is just not that into us.

3.) 30 Jun 2017 20:44:18
Keita will come if we successfully bid for him, but if he is as good as some say don't be surprised if he only stays for a year or maybe two, he is ambitious.

4.) 30 Jun 2017 23:38:37
Strangely, after reading the reports, especially about him talking to great length about his friend Sadio Mané, I would think he is very interested in joining us. Also, if a serious journo like Gabriel Marcotti says we agreed a deal with him in principle, I'm pretty sure he wants to come.

There's just this tiny issue of agreeing a transfer sum with the moneybags of Red Bull.

5.) 30 Jun 2017 23:52:39
If he proves to be that good in a pool jersey, as soon as a real Madrid, Barcelona offer him the chance to join them he will be gone. But we have to realise that all our players are just using our beloved club as a stepping stone until we start challenging for champions league final appearances again. Keita, VVD, Salah or Coutinho or any of our squad aren't playing for our club because of their Liverpool love/ desire/ live long dream to play for us. Gerrard and Carragher were the last of that scouse blood. Gerrard had transfer possibilities every year but he couldn't leave because he has scouse blood but football is a different sport now. Its all about €s and £s. Sure look at the academy the majority of the kids aren't scouse.

6.) 01 Jul 2017 02:19:18
The transfer won't happen. All this talk about it is pointless, he will never be a Liverpool player.

7.) 02 Jul 2017 12:23:40
Brussels red when you say we do you mean the club or people on here. In light of what the eds have said it sounds like the club doesn't need to move on because it wasn't there anyway. Can say pretty much 90% of what I see in the press about LFC transfers has been media and agent fabricated or exagerated bull so not really down to the club.

20 Aug 2015 14:02:19
Why on earth are we loaning out Lucas? This is madness!

"If I speak today, there will be fire" - Salah

I wonder if this is just about being benched today or if this is a reflection of a rift in the dressing room.

1.) 27 Apr 2024 15:36:45
Wasn't there some arguments on the touchline between klopp and Salah. I missed what happened due to children being naughty.

2.) 27 Apr 2024 16:21:13
Who cares, he's always been a prima donna. Legend and prob gets in a LFC best 11 on performances but there's something dislikeable about the fella. He doesn't come across like he has the love and heart for LFC like Klopp does. Loves himself a bit too much for my liking and if Ed02 is right he's been itching to leave for years. Thanks for the goals Mo but I won't miss him.

3.) 27 Apr 2024 16:31:01
100% behind Salah here, for such an easy going guy to have that reaction there is something seriously wrong at the club especially the way things are going at moment.

Hate to see Klopp reign ending like this, the club should have insisted he goes when he made it clear he wanted out.

4.) 27 Apr 2024 17:08:23
Lol to the replies. How about goodbye to both and peace be with them. Klopps a goner and I think it's salahs time to move on. Hopefully we get a decent fee and buy a top drawer attacker.

5.) 27 Apr 2024 17:15:30
SpecialK, I'm with you in being a supporter of Salah, but you don't do that to your Manager in plain public view. There's the dressing room for that. Salah was gesturing with both arms at Klopp and had to be pushed aside by Nunez. That is unacceptable behaviour. Absolutely unacceptable. Klopp has stayed with Salah through thick and thin; made him the top player he has been. Now that it is time to part ways (everything in life has an expiry date), this is how you show your level of respect for the man who has propelled you to great heights in your profession?

Am I turning on Salah because, in all likelihood, he will leave this summer? Absolutely not. For me it's more a matter of how you leave the club. You leave with class and dignity and make sure others around you don't lose their dignity also; especially considering you are the highest paid player at the club by a mile. Not by being petulant on the field and then declaring to the media that "there will be fire if I open my mouth".

6.) 27 Apr 2024 17:32:12
Following on from games and players after match comments there has definitely been friction about "the forwards" not converting chances and rightly so. To be honest Salah was poor last season and worse this season, 17 prem goals (inc 5 pens? ) from 91 shots is not good music. Whomever made the decision to not sell him for a big bag of Saudi cash has a question to answer. Nunez shoots like a scared rabbit, there is a player in there somewhere for sure. Diaz is a creator and Jota a finisher. Gakpo, should be playing for Wrexham. or maybe the argument was about how long it took Mo to get ready and Klopp saying that that goal was avoidable if the changes had been made more timely. But the end result is the same, someone on the coaching team needs to be responsible for shouting "your going the wrong way! " We play with a front line of 6 David Batty's (no offence, he was good at what he did! ) . I am so happy that I have a watch and forget policy. moving onto the next 99 minutes. Peace.

7.) 27 Apr 2024 17:37:14
Its about time someone stood up to klopp, all these players are getting destroyed in the media due to klopps tactics but he needs to be protected? He is basically leaving them all exposed and literally setting them up to fail but just because he is a loveable guy then he needs to be free from retaliation?

8.) 27 Apr 2024 17:37:29
Our performances and results are hard to take as it is. But to see Salah and Klopp arguing on the touchline is just sad. I just knew there were rifts within the squad as it’s been showing for some time now.

Right or wrong, Salah doesn’t just react like that unless something has been festering or going on behind the scenes. In fact, Salah even doubled down and said to the press on the way out and I quote, “If I speak today there will be fire”. So that confirms there is disharmony within the squad. And Salah might well be right in how he feels, but no matter what you do that behind closed doors, not in plain sight for the world to see.

What a sad ending to Klopp’s tenure. I will choose to remember the Klopp I knew and not this unrecognisable version of him.

9.) 27 Apr 2024 17:41:35
I wouldn’t mind him having a go if he was playing some outstanding football.

Mo has been gash for weeks and really should just pipe down and work on his own game.

Legend or not (he 100% is a club icon) there is a time and a place. The sideline stuff was petulant but the “fire” comments to reporters are just embarrassing.

10.) 27 Apr 2024 18:19:57
Does it really matter?

We're not going to win the league, we're not going to drop out of the CL places, and at least one, if not both of them will be gone in the summer.

11.) 27 Apr 2024 18:23:41
His comment sounds a lot worse on paper than it does in the video, even though he shouldn't have said it. But with the wheels coming off the season emotions are running high. Salah has been a great professional and we should all move on. Let the media run the story into the ground if they wish.

12.) 27 Apr 2024 18:35:49
People always look for something deeper.

I just see two uber competitive people extremely frustrated at what has transpired on the pitch at the crunch end of the season. That frustration as boiled over and will be quickly forgotten no doubt.

13.) 27 Apr 2024 18:45:39
You’re a professional footballer.
You’re an employee of the club.

You’re being fabulously remunerated.
Do your job, do your talking on the pitch.
Stop being a cry baby.

Klopp is the manager, show some respect Salah, he’s your boss. Klopp should have changed his subs and left Salah on the bench.

Respect to Darwin Nunez. I liked that. He intervened and stopped it further escalating.

Good team mate, good professional. Well done son.

14.) 27 Apr 2024 18:58:33
Good god the bs on here, Salah’s a prima Donna, Klopp’s a goner…. what the actual f. k is wrong with you all. Best manager of the last 20 years and a player who is, at-the very least, in the conversation for the best player of the last 10 years and you can’t wait to be rid of them. Madness, this player and coach are part of our modern halcyon days, you will miss them when they are gone. Enjoy them whilst they are here, so they fell out today, so what, passion is what we want isn’t it?

15.) 27 Apr 2024 19:23:21
Everyone is hurting. The boss, the players and the fans. Was always going to be difficult to keep emotions in check after announcing his departure in mid-season.

16.) 27 Apr 2024 19:39:50
I’ve just seen the clip where he says it. Personally I’d interpret that he doesn’t want to speak as it’ll cause a media storm, ironically By saying what he said he caused a media storm.

17.) 27 Apr 2024 19:50:53
Nothing to do with it. Klopp expects a handshake and a hug before subs go on the pitch. Shows they are all in it together. Salah couldn’t be bothered to do either as he has so little self awareness of how bad he has been playing, he prob still thinks he should be starting. Klopp called him out for it and Salah spat his dummy out. The fire is entirely on Selfish Salah.

18.) 27 Apr 2024 19:52:57
Anyone stopped to think maybe the reason why salah is playing so poor is due to how he is being coached and since he is not happy it translates onto the pitch?

19.) 27 Apr 2024 21:29:11
Kloppoutnow (some name by the way) klopp made these players what they are today, name me a player who left us under klopp whos became better?

20.) 28 Apr 2024 00:42:23
We have a recent history of keeping players past their use-by dates (Hendo, Gerrard, Milner, AOC, etc) . I would be ok with selling Robbo, Thiago and Salah as they are not going to improve from here on in.
Salah starts every game despite playing poorly. The one game he starts on the bench he throws a wobbly when he comes on and then does nothing to justify his inclusion. He was a great player but his time has come and his frustrations with his decline are now creating negative headlines. I don't think Slot needs to deal with a player like that in his first season. Take what ever the Saudis are offering and run.

21.) 28 Apr 2024 00:42:36
This may sound harsh but it's the way I see it. I saw the clip of what happened between Klopp and Salah. Put simply if I were in Klopp's shoes, Salah would never play for me again. Who does he think he is? you respect your manager and his decisions, if you disagree? absolutely fine, do it behind closed doors.

Ra, Ron, completely agree with you two.

Acting that unprofessional, well, in my opinion he's done himself no favours. It's almost as if he doesn't care because he knows both of them are out at the end of the season. This should not be happening and it's not acceptable. A legend of a player but I see him in a different way now, a man with zero respect and has shown his true colours.

22.) 28 Apr 2024 05:47:30
Kloppoutnow - Yeah. wish I got paid £15.6M a year for being as absolutely gash as Salah has been recently. Yeah. I'd probably throw my toys out the pram for being renumerated such a pittance as well if I was being told to sit down and not need to do my job while still getting paid. life's hard.

23.) 28 Apr 2024 05:49:50
Spot on Salah, he's offering nothing on the pitch now anyway so what's it there to lose. He obviously off so protect the harmony in the remainder of the squad by demoting him to the reserves or simply giv him the time to sell his house or whatever. No need for him to put a red shirt on again. As with Klopp he's a legend but it's time to move on for both of them.

24.) 28 Apr 2024 09:41:53
Klopp is also an employee of the football club and hasn’t coached the team well in a long time.

20 Jul 2023 18:21:55
I know things will change depending on form and opposition, but who do you think should start in our attack?

1.) 20 Jul 2023 18:28:02
It’ll be Diaz Gakpo and Salah. But if he stays fit I reckon Jota will force himself in.

He just seems hungrier than the others since his return from injury.

2.) 20 Jul 2023 18:44:21
Fair play to Jota he had a horrid time with injury and that year long Barron spell but In our last 9 Premier League games he got

7 Goals
1 Assist

And has 58 goals and assists in 3 seasons with us despite missing large parts of 2 of them.

I think our attacking options are exceptional if we can keep all fit.

3.) 20 Jul 2023 20:15:30
Firstly, thank you FSG for investing in the deepest attacking group in the league

Secondly, agree with Fiaz, Gakpo and Mo but wouldn't miss a best with Nunez and jota too.

4.) 20 Jul 2023 21:33:43
Jota gakpo salah is our best front 3, the rest on the bench til they prove they are worthy to start. I just hope klopp doesn't try and restrict szoboslai's attacking game like mould him into a gini clone, let him cause mayhem and bring in 2 ballwinners with this potential dough coming in.

5.) 20 Jul 2023 22:07:06
Jota Seems to be the man in form so far would probably go Salah jota Diaz. I don't think we've ever had this many quality options in attack.

6.) 20 Jul 2023 22:43:36
Diaz was very poor after his injury, saying that so was Jota when he came back but he got back playing well so hopefully Diaz does too. Jota-Gakpo-Salah for me Diaz and Darwin off the bench cups and europa to try take the spots.

7.) 20 Jul 2023 23:26:59
Agree 100% Salah. Gakpo. Jota.

8.) 21 Jul 2023 03:28:46
Apart from M, who is, in terms of being injury restart, a freak and who picks himself as the right sided attacker in just about any team on the planet, the other 4 are interchangeable dependent upon form / injuries.

Diaz, Nunez and Jota can play n the left, Gakpo, Nunez and Jota can play n the middle and Salah, Gakpo and, at a push Szoboszlai and Doak can do a job on the right. We are covered.

9.) 21 Jul 2023 04:48:40
Current form: Jota, Gakpo, Salah.

The attacking side of things doesn’t worry me. We will need more midfield reinforcements and defensive reinforcements also.

{Ed001's Note - what current form? There is no form, we have played one game - a friendly. How can there be current form?}

10.) 21 Jul 2023 09:02:12
OneKiss, how can someone be poor when he was just coming back from a 6 month injury lay-off where he only played like 4 games and was trying to get back to fitness? Also, did Diaz not score in his first start after his injury vs Spurs? Baffling assessment, IMO.

11.) 21 Jul 2023 15:09:40
Diaz gakpo and salah.
Or Diaz nunez salah. Jota is sub for me.

13 Jul 2023 13:29:04
Hi Ed001,

Just wondering what your opinion is on the pre-season this year? I'm sure I read one of your comments where you mentioned Klopp saying he had made mistakes with last year's pre-season. I'm guessing we've rectified that this year?

{Ed001's Note - yes, looks to be much better and they are planning on pushing the players much harder, which was needed.}

1.) 13 Jul 2023 13:53:21
Those mistakes were apparent about halfway through the first game of the season. It looked as though they hadn’t had a pre-season at all, I’d never seen anything like it.

{Ed001's Note - it is amazing they never put it right during the World Cup.}

2.) 13 Jul 2023 15:03:01
It’s mental how we didn’t look tired in the Charity shield game or wins against Bournemouth, Newcastle, Ajax, Rangers, City, West Ham, Napoli and Spurs prior to the World Cup.

3.) 13 Jul 2023 15:52:41
Ed01 looking back, that whole summer was an absolute disaster. Everything and every bad decision that impacted the season was made in preseason from the transfers (3 of the 4 transfers are already gone), ineffective fitness and friendly match programs, long hours on flights, the tactics, the whole lot. A shambles. The fact that nothing was done to even try to rectify this during the WC takes the cake for me, personally. That was just a clear case of the "Ostrich with it's head in the sand" type behaviour.

Now tho, it does look like we are back to what we were and how we run preseason so it will be interesting to see what happens esp. with both leaders in Milner and Hendo either go or on the verge of going.

{Ed001's Note - it was a very messy summer. Fingers crossed there will be no more books and everyone will actually be focused on the football.}

4.) 13 Jul 2023 17:35:16
Great to hear our pre season of 5 days with not all the the squad has been a huge success.

5.) 13 Jul 2023 17:36:51
Cheers, Ed. I hope you're doing well :)

14 Apr 2023 10:45:29
Good morning everyone.

Reading posts about various players who will cost an arm and a leg has got me thinking.

Go easy on me here: why do we not go down the Brighton road and upgrade the scouting network, then prioritise finding the "diamonds in the dirt"?

This has clearly worked well at the Albion. They're pushing for top 4, and arguably should be a a few points closer to it already.

1.) 14 Apr 2023 11:09:57
So, would you be pleased if we bought 4/ 5 midfielders at £5/ £10 million a piece, in the hope we uncovered a gem and nobody that we can guarantee would improve the starting 11?
Aside from work permit issues, there isn’t the same level of expectation from a Brighton.
It sounds easy, but in reality is not.

2.) 14 Apr 2023 11:20:12
Brighton have a very good team and are currently 7th (which would be their highest ever PL finish) with very good net spend as they make a lot of money on sales.

We are used to (under Klopp) challenging for league and CL titles (after spending big on Vvd and Alison) and also have a good net spend despite as spending more than Brighton.

I’d much rather us not follow Brightons model as clearly their ceiling is nowhere near where we usually are when it comes too challenging.

3.) 14 Apr 2023 11:26:58
Our recruitment team are (or were) very capable of uncovering these players but they are often overruled. We were fully aware of Enzo Fernandez while he was still at River and available at a snip, but nobody pressed the button.

I think Ed has covered the work permit issues that can arise with some players as well which is definitely a factor I didn't consider. But we can still do more.

4.) 14 Apr 2023 11:27:31
I think it sounds good in theory, but part of what I think contributes to these players being able to make their mark is that they are at a "smaller profile" club.

5.) 14 Apr 2023 12:32:56
Adam, is Brighton trying to win the CL and/ or PL? Also bar thsis season, when have they pushed or Europe or top 4 before this season? If the answer is no and you can't find a season where they pushed for Top 4 (cos such a season does not exist) then, your theory does not hold at all

I know for a fact that had Liverpool signed Mitoma and Caicedo for the peanuts they got them for and from the "low level" leagues they were playing at, these FSG Outers would make that Utd fans' "protest" at OT before we played them 2 years ago, look like a picnic.

6.) 14 Apr 2023 12:59:37
I've asked this question before and it comes down to risk, as others have said above.

The teams that are expected to compete at the highest level tend to go for some proven ability. That's why we tend to pick up players who have already moved to the European leagues and performed. Otherwise we would have bought Darwin for 10% of what we signed him for, same as Chelsea with Enzo.

We do still unearth gems, but these days, post-Brexit, they are more likely to be UK youth players - Elliot, Carvalho for example - or cheaper deals for relegated players like Robbo.

7.) 14 Apr 2023 14:56:15
Zed, I fully agree with your post. For me, we signed players who were on the verge of blowing up since their potential was thru the roof to do so with the right coaching and conditions. VVD, Ali, Mane, Salah, Fab etc. were signed under this strategy and approach, IMO. That is what we need to get back to, IMO cos the players are out there, for sure.

That does not mean they were cheap cos VVD, Ali and Naby were NOT cheap by any stretch. They were on the verge of blowing up. Those players are out there and there is still great value out there in the market. We need to go back to that first cos that's how we came up. That and a couple of big signings that were the RIGHT players for us. Big signings for the sake of it, is NOT a strategy. Just ask Chelsea and Utd.

8.) 14 Apr 2023 15:02:59
I think it's fair to say Carvalho has been a huge disappointment this season, as with all the injuries to the squad this campaign his chance was there, he has not even been among the substitutes in our last two games versus city and the arsenal ( unless he's sent a sick note in! ) however with Bobby going in the Summer, I feel that the Bobby role is tailor made for "Bobby Carvalho", there is undoubted talent there perhaps being the new Bobby will bring that out, i for one certainly hope so, unless he's earmarked as the next Kaide Gordon (whoever he was? ) .

9.) 14 Apr 2023 14:00:36
No because Brighton consistently finish mid table we should definitely tap into the south american market more though. We can bring in these young lads for peanuts like they do and either stick them on the bench or play them regularly to develop but suffer with results doing it we need the finished product.

10.) 14 Apr 2023 16:20:32
Klopp has said that no goal is scored or prevented anywhere in the world without us knowing it. I am not sure the scouting network is the issue.

It is the decision-making that has gone awry.

11.) 14 Apr 2023 16:49:29
Can you imagine the meltdown and fury on this page if it was announced tomorrow that we are signing an unknown midfielder from the Ecuadorian league for £5m?

12.) 14 Apr 2023 17:56:39
I think we do our fans a disservice to try and deflect away from us not going for the world class players.

I can’t remember there being a meltdown or uproar when we got

Carvalho - 5 mill
Elliot - few mill
Robertson - 8 mill
Shaq - 11 mill
Matip - free
Ramsey - 4 mill
Minamino - 7 mill
Tsimikas - 13 mill.

14 Jan 2023 21:14:55
I was at the match today.

Firstly, Brighton looked amazing. They were really slick on the ball. Moved it around so well and positively. They could have had more than 3. They also constantly pressed the few times Liverpool had the ball. Well done to them. They've come a long way.

Secondly, Harvey Elliott and Konate were some of the few players to acknowledge the away fans at the end. Elliott gave his top to someone. He seems a great lad.

As for Liverpool, it's hard to know where to start. The main thing I noticed was their slow, ponderous passing - they'd string one or two together and then do a long ball and give it away. Physically, they were outrun and outmuscled by the Brighton players. I don't know if that was down to desire or even nutrion.

Finally, after the first 10 minutes it looked like we were in for a bad day. The changes came very late in the game. To be honest, the problems looked a little deeper than just being short a midfielder.

1.) 14 Jan 2023 21:41:39
I got the impression that we did actually try to press high, but it was very poorly coordinated and lacking energy.
Salah and Gakpo were pressing but Ox was miles off, causing a huge dog leg that easily let Brighton out.
Thiago was stood almost in the CF position on their restarts and the rest pushed up but Brighton often went long, turning Fabinho and Henderson.
Thiago spent the first 70 minutes jogging up and down the pitch, unable to get in the game. He could have gone for an 8k jog with me for all intents and purposes.
Contrast that with Caicedo and MacAllister who were up and down like a fiddler’s elbow.
I don’t think we can play the Klopp all-out press at present.
The players look jaded, and short of confidence.

2.) 14 Jan 2023 22:15:30
We can’t play a pressing game. We have to play 10 men behind the ball, compact and counter. Been saying it since Fulham.

3.) 14 Jan 2023 22:23:08
This wasn't a Brighton masterclass Juicer I was at the game and have seen Brighton play much better it was just the most abject Liverpool performance.

4.) 14 Jan 2023 22:23:08
This wasn't a Brighton masterclass Juicer I was at the game and have seen Brighton play much better it was just the most abject Liverpool performance.

5.) 14 Jan 2023 22:28:18
That’s a typical Liverpool performance, it’s becoming normal.

6.) 14 Jan 2023 22:29:29
For all the criticism he’s had for missing chances, I think we’ve realised just how important Darwin Nuñez is when we don’t have him on the pitch. Brighton defenders were very comfortable without him on the pitch, and with Mo struggling we had no outball.

7.) 14 Jan 2023 22:34:45
Yeah, we really missed Nunez today. Gakpo would have offered a lot more on the left had Nunez been available.

8.) 14 Jan 2023 22:51:25
Yep, or even Nunez on the left and Gakpo central would have potential. Gakpo never had any space because Brighton’s defenders just ignored Ox.

9.) 14 Jan 2023 23:15:08
I was at the game today and the thing I noticed was how high we would play (fullbacks marking their fullbacks) but we didn't press them. It was just odd. Seems pointless playing that high a line if you're not going to press at the same time. So easy for them to pass out (which they're good at) and then left players like Matip up against Mitouma which is always a mismatch in pace. On the ball we were far too slow, and it really looked like the players feel a bit lost and not sure what to do. Confidence looks low and you could see it in certain players who usually don't show that side.

Fair play to Brighton, I watch them a lot and they're a very good team who are growing and getting better but we made it so easy for them.

Konate and Trent bailed us out a few times but that's about as positive as it got. Fair play to the Liverpool fans left in the stadium at the end, they were still singing and showing support which isn't easy after that kind of display.

10.) 15 Jan 2023 00:27:09
Only Alisson came out with any credit, for me. Their third goal was really awful.
Gomez looks to have really lost his way. He's all over the place.
But he's not on his own.

11.) 15 Jan 2023 01:34:04
I thought konate kept us in it until half time. Maybe my memory fails me, but the last time our defence looked confident was when Nat Phillips played.

12.) 15 Jan 2023 04:06:15
The way Brighton attacked, particularly down the left with constant overlaps and interplay, was how we used to attack. Playing 2 up too with a sort of CAM behind completely stifles our fullbacks attacking threat - it’s an awful tactic and one that we shouldn’t be playing. Trent and Robbo are two of our best players, setting up in a way that completely hamstrings a big element of their play seems ridiculous to me.

We all seen a battering coming and Brigton aren’t even a great side they’ll be around 7th or so when the season ends Villa and Arsenal won there easily enough.

We were lambs ready for the slaughter from the off and any team with any ounce of tactical nous would have taken us to the woodshed so Brighton didn’t do anything special since they didn’t even need to break a sweat to thump us which tells you how much trouble we are in.

We don’t press anymore, end of so no point asking about it. Also, we played our fullbacks high without pressing and it seems we played Thiago in the advanced role? Seriously, who is doing the tactics cos clearly we have NEVER set up that way?

Someone mentioned Nunez absence. Others have mentioned we are not the same without Mané.

What about Salah? New contract, mega payrise and escaping all of the blame. Yet he is barely doing anything right at the moment. He seems exempt from blame even when he doesn’t put a shift in. Which is often. If he doesn’t score, we are playing with 10 men.

I'm pretty sure we're allowed an opinion without you screaming at us and telling us not to breed. Get off your high horse.

Even at the send off I found him annoying. Jumped up. Time will tell, I guess.

Man United-bound, I reckon. Although, it would be a step down in his career after Newcastle and Everton.

Criticise the player's ability or their attitude, if it's bad, but don't abuse them personally (unless it's Diouf or Owen) .

I hope we see more of Gakpo next season. He should have been given more starts.
