Can I ask where you 'heard' this news? Every report going says his Achilles, and, watching the game, it looked like he was holding his leg where his Achilles is. Sharing that someone has done an ACL when they haven't, and claiming you 'heard it' as though you have some inside knowledge, is just rubbish, to be honest, and a pretty shameful example of someone pretending to be in the know or sharing fake news without bothering to check the facts.

It definitely wasn't his knee, you could see he went down as soon as he planted his foot and was initially holding his ankle by the Achilles, the PSG players were holding his leg up by the knee to keep weight off the foot which you wouldn't do if it was the knee, it was definitely in around the ankle/heel area.

If it's as serious as it looked, and it looked pretty bad, he's out for at least 6 months. Looked like he signalled to the physio that he thought he snapped it.

He's done for us, we need new leadership on the pitch, and, when you install a new captain, it's best that the old one leaves. Very hard to be a world class center back when you have no midfield in front of you. Maldini would look bang average in this team at the moment. Buy a decent defensive midfielder, and the whole back 4 look a lot better.
