Ed can you see us being interested in Quinten Timber this summer? Played under Arne and going into the last year of his contract.
{Ed001's Note - it would certainly make sense, he was a player Liverpool were tracking prior to Slot's arrival.}
1.) 21 Mar 2025 19:37:56
I heard he can get a bit stumped when in the box.
2.) 22 Mar 2025 06:46:42
I just want to hear the commentary when he scores: “Timberrrrrrrrrrrrrr”.
3.) 22 Mar 2025 10:24:05
I heard it on the QT about Quinten Timber joining us.

A brace for young Koumas out on loan today. Having a fine season, despite Stoke been in dissaray this year.
1.) 08 Feb 2025 19:37:27
I’d hardly say Stoke are in disarray. They’re 2nd in the prem and beat Man City 5-1 last week.
2.) 09 Feb 2025 00:45:01
Can he do it one a cold, wet Tuesday night at Stoke though?
3.) 09 Feb 2025 08:22:47
Thank you El Bob - that made me chuckle!
4.) 09 Feb 2025 09:41:36
Erm El Bob it's Arsenal who are second not stoke. Arsenal have a great chance of winning the league and we need to keep on our toes or lose out on a league title.
{Ed025's Note - maybe you dont understand irony Walter?..
5.) 09 Feb 2025 10:17:48
Ed25 or any kind of concept of happiness, fun or humour ?.
{Ed025's Note - it really does beggar belief 1jj..
6.) 09 Feb 2025 11:41:26
El Bob, that was saucy, man. Better not let some of these "Stoke" fans hear that.
7.) 09 Feb 2025 12:39:37
You revising your prediction of midtable then Walter?
8.) 09 Feb 2025 17:19:29
I don't get what I did wrong. The dude was saying stoke are second. Where that come from ill never know.
Arsenal as much as a horrid team to watch are second and are a threat to an unlikely league win for us. Personally I am still thinking 3rd for us.
{Ed025's Note - have a day off Walter ffs..
9.) 09 Feb 2025 18:00:16
@25 if I've got something wrong I apologise but I was correct with my comments.
Wasn't trying to annoy you. And to be perfectly honest I don't understand how it happened.
{Ed025's Note - its just the continual ragging on your own team mate, yes today was awful but even when you are winning your negativity knows no bounds, just be fair and if its bad say its bad...but if its good then say that as well..
21 Jan 2025 16:52:36
We should be infor young Tyler Dibling if he's up for sale.
{Ed025's Note - im not a fan really FM because i dont like his gait, skillful but a little slow for me mate..
1.) 21 Jan 2025 18:02:01
You sound like Fergie, Ed025! Hope you're well, mate.
{Ed025's Note - the football one or the singer in the black eyed peas Rome?, im good thanks mate and hope you are too my friend..
2.) 21 Jan 2025 18:12:35
I echo. Technically the boy is excellent.
3.) 21 Jan 2025 18:15:51
Really Ed025? He’s only young and could really develop over the next few years. I’ve seen him since U10’s and been a real prospect since then. Prob been Saints best player this season in a really crap team!
{Ed025's Note - I can only give my honest opinion on what I have seen of him Dalglish. Talented of course but very leggy for me mate and runs like a girl..or Jack Grealish. Only young though and as he grows that could change of course..
4.) 21 Jan 2025 18:21:09
I’m curious when people make statements like that.
Like, what are you basing it on? He barely kicked a ball last season and has something 1 or 2 goals this season.
How many full 90min Southampton games have you watched?
For the cost, there’s a lot of safer bet options out there for me.
5.) 21 Jan 2025 18:27:57
Ah Ed. top young player. I see spurs are trying to get him in to add to archie gray and the young swedish lad. For the reported 25m will end up being a bargain.
{Ed025's Note - I think he will fit in well at spurs FM..need I say anymore mate ?..
6.) 21 Jan 2025 19:37:57
Hendo ran like a nodding donkey
I’d sign another one of him if there was one available….
7.) 21 Jan 2025 19:38:22
He's a top prospect years Shaq not just this season. Watched quite a few Saints games this year and he's really stood out, andPeople would have said the same about Archie Gray last summer and he's a fabulous footballer. I'd like to see us take a chance on him.
8.) 21 Jan 2025 19:59:16
on archie gray or dibling? I honestly don't rate either at all. Is something wrong with me ed001? (I trust your football knowledge more than anyone and that is not a compliment just the truth)
{Ed001's Note - Gray is a decent midfielder but not a defender at all. Dibling needs to learn to pass earlier.}
9.) 21 Jan 2025 20:44:12
I agree with 25. Stinks of a spurs signing.
10.) 21 Jan 2025 20:58:07
Nobody in that Saints team to pass to! ?.
11.) 22 Jan 2025 00:11:10
Archie Gray deserves some credit for playing centre half at his age.
He deserves The Victoria Cross for playing centre half in that Spurs team.
19 Jan 2025 12:20:29
Some performance there yesterday out of Bournemouth, they've put together a very good little team that's challenging for Europe. Fair play to the guys behind the scenes for completing some very good signings.
1.) 19 Jan 2025 13:03:16
Great compliment for Hughes. However, different budget, different expectations and a lot less pressure.
I really hope he proves us all wrong. Time will tell.
2.) 19 Jan 2025 13:12:59
I was shocked to read this and see it wasn't Rigsby!
3.) 19 Jan 2025 13:14:54
It's great to see forest and Bournemouth doing so well, makes for a much more exciting league top to bottom.
I wonder if this is the fruits of PSR starting to show, slightly more level playing field meaning managers and team spirit become more important than just splashing cash all the time. Long may it continue.
4.) 19 Jan 2025 13:16:17
Yes, they have built a very good squad of players over recent years and hired a very good manager. We should hire the guy who was responsible for that!
5.) 19 Jan 2025 13:33:39
I've got two accounts, Salah ?.
6.) 19 Jan 2025 13:35:48
I wasn't expecting to see a Richard Hughes fan club growing here. I might go back to bed.
7.) 19 Jan 2025 13:39:05
Crazy though Salah how a guy that obviously done a terrific job at his former club rocks up to Liverpool and is suddenly seen as a wally. Would it not make ye think no?
8.) 19 Jan 2025 13:59:36
I'd say Iraola has more to do with their performance in the league than Hughes. Their net spend is very low (think they are in surplus) and most of the team they have are way below where they currently are in the league.
Just look at their squad compared to the likes of Spurs, Utd, Brighton, etc.
9.) 19 Jan 2025 14:03:07
Hughes did well at Bournemouth recruited some handy players and very good manager, so he’s got an eye for a player.
His inactivity so far at Liverpool is it through lack of money from owners, by design or hasn’t handled the step up to a bigger club.
I can’t help but think, if we were linked or signed relatively unknown players there would be a fan meltdown, by same folk who moan that our scouts miss out on players who get snapped up by Brighton and Bournemouth who sell on at huge profit.
10.) 19 Jan 2025 14:19:49
Spot on brommers.
Lol Rigsby ?? now I know it!
11.) 19 Jan 2025 15:07:24
And who appointed Ireola Brommers? And in answer to your question Nutter i don't know but the man is obviously capable, and whatever failures are going on at our club at the moment are definitely not solely down to him. there's a whole team and the owners in on it. And in fairness we ARE top of the league so whatever failures are happening can't be that horrific.
12.) 19 Jan 2025 15:41:06
It doesn't matter what position we are in at the minute, Florian. What does matter is our finishing position at the end of the season.
I don't believe FSG are part of any of it? You say there's a team of people on it, who is in that team? Genuinely I have no idea because I thought it was Hughes and it's his job.
What happens or happened at Bournemouth is completely irrelevant to what's going on here or what will happen here. Hughes, say what you want, sing his praises or call him from a cat to a dog but the fact remains, what has he done for us since joining? Forget what he did at Bournemouth, what has he done for us? Granted it's very early but for people to be backing him up because he did a decent enough job at another club is beyond me.
If he does well here then sure, go ahead and sing his praises, until then don't blame everybody else for pointing the finger, everybody has a right to considering we had a summer of nonsense and so far January is looking the same.
13.) 19 Jan 2025 17:08:13
Why are FSG not a part of it Salah? Oh its the FSG has nothing to do with anything tagline? So if Ward (because its only him that gives contracts) decides to give the 3 boys new £1m a wwek contracts the owners wouldn't have anything to say about it? Not getting into a debate about these owners but seriously people need to wake up aswell.
14.) 19 Jan 2025 17:39:43
It's right that we shouldn't praise anyone now because it's only January. But we do need to have someone to blame in January and at the end of the season.
Whether it's FSG, Hughes, Slot, Nunez, Salah, TAA, Robertson or anyone, we need someone to take our hurty feelings out on.
15.) 19 Jan 2025 17:42:06
You're waffling mate but nice attempt, I guess. What is it people need to wake up to?
FSG aren't part of it because it's not their jobs mate lol why do you think people like Hughes and Ward are employed? to do the job for them!
Can you let me know then mate who is the 'team' behind the transfers of Liverpool? let's speak facts please, no nonsense. We have a man for contracts - Ward, we have a man attempting to do his job on transfers - Hughes, who else is Hughes working with to make sure we get players in? do you believe FSG are helping him? if that's the case why employ him to begin with? you're clutching at straws.
16.) 19 Jan 2025 19:01:30
So do you think Hughes is the only man at Liverpool that has ANYTHING to do with transfers Salah? seriously? and im waffling?
17.) 20 Jan 2025 00:45:16
Imagine saying there's a team of people handling the transfers and still not being able to answer who is in this team. Take a leaf out of Rigsby's book, atleast he can answer a question.
18.) 20 Jan 2025 07:40:21
Take a leaf outa your own book and talk about facts. Because no one on this site actually knows them it seems, just a lot of guesswork and opinion outa people who havnt got a clue or inside knowledge about what's going on in the everyday running of the club. And that includes meself and yourself Salah.
08 Jan 2025 17:18:29
Hope trent smashes it tonight.
1.) 08 Jan 2025 18:27:24
I would leave him out all together to be honest. Then make him captain against a team of youth and fringe players against Stanley in the FA Cup. He was so poor Sunday it would be unfair not to let Bradley have a game .
2.) 08 Jan 2025 19:00:19
I hope they all smash it, let’s take control of the tie and the play the fringe players in the second leg.
3.) 08 Jan 2025 19:02:00
"Into whose Goal"
4.) 08 Jan 2025 19:04:47
Bradley starts, surprised at that to be honest. Thought it would have been a chance for Trent to make up for Sunday.
5.) 08 Jan 2025 19:06:06
Haven’t seen the team yet but would have thought Bradley would start tonight ?♂️.
6.) 08 Jan 2025 19:22:49
Bradley has earnt this start ahead of Trent. A meritocracy is the best way, in my opinion.
7.) 08 Jan 2025 19:40:48
he only changed trent, diaz and robbo. Konate was to be predicted, but the 1st 3 were probably the worst on Sunday along with Jones. Probably just a coincidence.
8.) 08 Jan 2025 23:03:56
And both Bradley and Trent played well.
Florian Musiala's rumour replies
24 Apr 2025 22:30:02
Absolutely miles better than Konate? top talent, and has the potential to be but isn't at the moment.
24 Apr 2025 09:23:36
In fairness MK he's the topic of the thread. And despite what people on here want to make out most Lfc are not exactly over the moon with trent. I am one of those people, doesn't stop me being over the moon and looking forward to my week long bender after Sundays game.
20 Apr 2025 12:41:20
Absolutely no reason to keep Nunez, has contributed nothing this season and his attitude has been crap. Out of the 6 attackers he's the first one i would show the door, not Premier League standard never mind Lfc.
19 Apr 2025 15:59:52
Not as if we'd be doing a Southampton, Huijsen has a low release clause SOMEONE is going to take him either way.
17 Apr 2025 12:27:46
Hopefully Salah. don't see it though.
Florian Musiala's banter replies
24 Apr 2025 09:31:59
Hardly going to want to help Arsenal are they.
23 Apr 2025 15:41:01
Cant see us not wanting him at £50m, the boys top class and at that price is a no brainer.
22 Apr 2025 12:28:31
Everton challenging for one of the European spots??.
21 Apr 2025 11:36:08
Summed it up perfectly for me Davey, not one person i know who supports Lfc wishes Trent well if he goes.
19 Apr 2025 16:03:43
Wouldnt be getting rid, Robbo would still be a great backup for a year or two. Think his performances would improve with the rest.
