Hi Eds, Mail reported that Smith Rowe from Arsenal is possibly on the move,
Do we have an interest at all?
Also if possible your opinion on the player, his stock was high, so I’m surprised if this is true he may be on the move.

Hi Ed’s, I’m curious to know if LFC have looked at Arnau Martinez of Girona (Spain), at 19 a Defender that can play left or right back, uses 2 feet and can cover as a DM too,
I saw the kid surrounded by 3 Barcelona players whilst on the floor and still got his head to the ball to avert the imminent danger. Also curious to know your thoughts on the kid Ed’s looked good player to me (I lack knowledge) .

I have seen Oshimen of Napoli linked to us, although I see this as unlikely. I thought I’d ask you guys on your thoughts on this.

Depends on the tactics for Salah’s eventual replacement. Personally I’d play an old fashioned 442.

OP, I have seen the same things with Osihmen being linked wit. Utd and Chelsea. Even John Obi Mikel is speculating that he will go to Utd. There's nothing in it.
Personally, I agree he is not a player we need right now and would not be worth.

If possible can you give an indication of the plan regarding the following 2 players, and your view on both players too,
1/ T Morton, any chance he will get some minutes for the first team, your opinion on him too please,
2/ Mabaya, what’s your opinion on him and do you have an idea where re position he appears to be best suited atm (taking on board that won’t be defined as yet possibly), do you see him given opportunity in the first team set up?

{Ed001's Note - 1. I expect him to go out on loan or be sold to be honest. He is a decent enough player but, like almost all academy products of the new English system, he struggles with reading the game defensively. He has excellent mobility and tries hard, good technically too but not quite top level. We have so many of a similar ilk that it is unlikely he will make it with us. He would make decent, cheap cover that can step in if we had injuries, but we really need a more specialist defensive midfielder.

The constant have they signed, or are they leaving, is getting a bit drawn out imo.
It’s a gamble for the 3 players assuming non have signed, a gamble cos god forbid, one does an ACL that’ll cause an issue regarding signing. Strange injuries happen.
Maybe one or all want to see how Slot is for the season as coach.

Regarding above and Man C interest in any player, are they a viable move at this time considering the imminent decision of the charges, there’s perceived guilt regarding 3/ 4 of the charges being significant, no punishment as yet, but that’s my point,
IF and if found guilty of these charges (talk of significant points deducted), MC get relegated, would players want to be in a lower league on lead up to a World Cup?

@NK, I get what you’re saying, but. if Musk was buy the club, could he not do a Chelsea and spend copious amounts on players and give them 10 year contracts (I’m aware this is an exaggeration 10yr), they game out 8 year contracts for fun to circumvent to a degree the restrictions, but they often sell their youth for income.

JK23, this time re era of the team, our recruitment will come from a position of strength as opposed to recruiting when not in CL.
The change of manager, has, it appears gone seamlessly and the team has grown too. So to me should a mini overhaul or major surgery (due to possible leavers) we are a greater attraction than those years we failed to qualify regularly for CL and challenge for PL.
So our worry is recruiting what’s needed, that then is Hughes if I’m correct, I’m not going to dis him, I look at Bournemouth and well their doing great, maybe just maybe he is going to do the business, time will tell.

@Jam, re contracts, who knows what is going on behind the curtains, one conclusion is maybe Slot wants clean out the stalwarts of JK era, as some point out possible that they are trying to lengthen contracts of others (Diaz) etc then sort the big 3 contracts due to wage structure and so on.
Re investment in the team/ squad, well it’s possible the club are awaiting for the collapse of the Banks (banks are imo in a controlled collapse as we speak), the collapse will make 2008 look like a blip, if so, it may be very prudent move by the club, time will tell on this.

The issue with blaming the ball, which mentioned above, is there is multiple balls in use, so is Jeffery visiting Arteta blaming all the balls around the pitch, did the balls around the touch line or goal line distract his players?
He wouldn’t have blamed the balls if one of Arsenal corners went in from under the crossbar headers lol.
If the toon went 3-0 up over the tie, maybe it would be over, but 2-0 Arteta will believe there’s a possible win in the offing.

There’s definitely a player in Darwin imo, maybe he tries too hard to impress, perhaps he should just go on instinct rather than think about his chances.
I think (memory serves me correctly), Jon Dahl T, was at Newcastle? Couldn’t hit a barn door, he went to Italy and became deadly as, in front of goal, then there was a clamour to get him back to uk.
Darwin needs a little arrogance that the top top players have, or is it absolute confidence- take your pick, but I want him to stay another season (assuming he’s got 2 years left on contract) .
