18 Nov 2020 23:16:49
Ffs more players testing positive for C.V.

1.) 22 Nov 2020 06:28:54
Yeah, it’s almost like it’s infectious.

06 Dec 2019 19:07:27
Has Ovie been sold to Reading Ed?

{Ed002's Note - Reading are very pleased with him and plan to take up their option to buy him.}

1.) 07 Dec 2019 06:35:36
Great result for everyone.

A mate has just sent messaged me says Klopp as signed a new contract till 2026 he must be winding me up.

1.) 14 Mar 2024 12:43:59
Hi current contract is up to 2026.

2.) 14 Mar 2024 12:48:17
That's weird, my mate messaged me the same thing yesterday after reading an article online. He then messaged again saying the article was 2 years old.

I'm afraid there's no going back on this one.

3.) 14 Mar 2024 15:07:10
Wait, are we going "Back To The Future" agaiN? Where's Doc and Marty MacFly when you need them?

4.) 14 Mar 2024 15:07:24
A mate has just messaged me saying we've sold Fernando Torres. Devastated.

5.) 14 Mar 2024 15:47:28
I heard and read that Klopp and Edwards didn't see eye to eye on a number of things, hence one of the reasons why Edwards left,
sadly, Klopp is leaving the building, we have to move on .
the process has started, its going to be really exciting, don't think City will be that strong next season, but we definitely will .
YNWA .

6.) 14 Mar 2024 20:42:08
maybe get back to your mate and check in if they're ok
:D.

7.) 14 Mar 2024 21:10:01
Got me in stitches there, @Faith. Can we all take Klopp at his word and move on?

8.) 15 Mar 2024 00:49:25
Ye Oli, at this stage it’s look almost silly on Klopp to make a U-turn lol.

9.) 15 Mar 2024 08:19:16
Sorry Oli, was stuck in 1885!

10.) 15 Mar 2024 19:00:27
A genuine grown up has made a decision based on looking after his health. End of story.

21 Jun 2019 10:03:16
Ed002 your pal the fat lad from Bolton is leaving the echo and lfc for pastures new is he joining this forum 😉.

{Ed002's Note - I din't know he worked for the Echo. But he might already be sharing his logorrhea here already.}

1.) 21 Jun 2019 14:41:34
James Pearce ain't the fat kid from Bolton. Or is he?

2.) 21 Jun 2019 15:30:10
Had to Google that one Eds😁.

3.) 22 Jun 2019 03:14:40
I don't think James Pearce is the lad from Bolton? He literally only ever talks about transfer once there pretty much done. I always thought the lad from bolton was Indykaila who literally just posts garbage all the time.

4.) 22 Jun 2019 08:58:33
Fat lad from Bolton is 'thefirm' as far as I'm aware.

02 Jun 2019 16:09:56
I’d still swap it for the PL title 😬.

1.) 02 Jun 2019 17:13:38
I wouldn't. Bring on 7!

2.) 02 Jun 2019 17:17:53
We won more euro cups than the whole of the premiership put together.

This is the pinnacle and we will win the premiership.

The euro cup don't come along often.

For most it don't come along at all.

Don't buy into the sky sports propaganda.

This is the one that matters.

3.) 02 Jun 2019 17:52:30
Both are equally important trophies, massive infact, I'm not bothered which one we got, we got one and I'm absolutely delighted. We deserved this so damnn much after this season!

4.) 02 Jun 2019 18:59:21
Ravi123, it's a bit of a BS fact that to be honest, spouted by all the press this morning, research it properly and it doesn't really stack up as a valid gloating point. Regardless, great victory for the lads, well done and hopefully a springboard to more success.

5.) 02 Jun 2019 19:29:10
Don't worry, my friend, we'll have the Prem next year.

6.) 02 Jun 2019 19:40:40
Why choose when you can have it ALL?

7.) 02 Jun 2019 20:25:40
Ask Pep which he'd rather have. I'm sure he'd say the Champions League. And that's someone who's just won the domestic treble. The Champions League is the biggest prize in club football.

8.) 02 Jun 2019 21:02:18
The Champions League is obviously the biggest prize in club football. An annual collective of the best of the best. People are confusing deep desperation to win a title (EPL) that we've never one, with the prestige of a title (UCL) that crowns the best of an entire continent. Unless, of course, you think football begins and ends only in the UK. Then I can't do anything for you.

9.) 03 Jun 2019 00:46:50
European cups are our IDENTITY.

It’s what makes Liverpool what it is. Number 6.

10.) 03 Jun 2019 00:49:35
Surely they both matter. I would rather win the league as it's been so long and for me shows more consistency especially with the growing competition in the Premier League. Where teams like PSG don't have much to compete in their league so obviously the CL becomes more important. But great to compete for them both.

10 May 2019 23:00:42
Yes Ed002 christopher is my real name 😬.

15 Oct 2017 16:23:09
Now if Lovren had just done what VVD did just now he'd be getting slated (Southampton Newcastle game)

1.) 15 Oct 2017 16:52:40
Speaking of the same game, Lascelles is playing well again, I think we should have a look at him. He’s a very good defender, a leader and decent organiser.

2.) 15 Oct 2017 16:57:12
Vvd is bang average, we spend 75 mill on him is will become the worst but in premier league history, the lack of decent centre backs is worrying.

3.) 15 Oct 2017 17:16:57
Shelvey just magnificent passer of the ball! Another Benitez signing! Call him whatever, the lad is terrific passer!

4.) 15 Oct 2017 17:20:19
I am of the opinion that lovren and VVD are very similar players. Both jump out of defence and would be both as bad in playing a high line we play. They both make mad rash challenges when completely unnecessary and can't do as the manager has told them to.

5.) 15 Oct 2017 18:05:38
Nath

Yet Klopp is adamant on him and ONLY HIM!

6.) 15 Oct 2017 19:14:56
Their is a major difference between playing a high line and park the bus as most prem teams play now. Either buy a centre back from a team that play a high line or one that can adapt and listen to instructions. VVD isn't suited to a high line with the challenges he makes and would get caught out.

7.) 15 Oct 2017 20:00:37
We won't get him anyway, I really believe that as well. Not only will Southampton be stubborn again, Barcelona and Juve are looking at him as well. He won't be a Liverpool player. If and a big if we do get him, it wouldn't be in Jan IMO.

8.) 15 Oct 2017 20:40:45
Lascalles plays in a system where they park the bus. We don't play that way so bringing him in will yield the same woeful results that Everton is now seeing after Michael Keane played in an ultra defensive setup at Burnley. Like Nath said, we play a high line so get a CB who can play in that system or get one in who can be coached to play in that system otherwise, move on. As for VVD, I am concerned with his level of play right now as his mistakes are starting to mount. Is it cos he does not wanna play for them anymore hence he's downing tools or is he as rash as he looks? I don't know. I had my reservations about VVD last season BUT right now, he simply does not look bothered.

9.) 15 Oct 2017 22:10:53
VvD was playing entire game not interested. like the first 25 mins of Couts yesterday.

VVD would be another bad signing and would be pivotal of Klopps reign.

Yes, sad that Shelvy has good passing range decent game intelligence to go with his attitude issues. If that could be set right, he could be leading eng midfield for sure. He is bettet than most of them out there.

Was nice to see Pelligrino and Rafa againt one another.

Cheers.

10.) 15 Oct 2017 23:21:15
Harry I’m sure there’s loads of CBs that Klopp would like to sign but they have to a) be available for transfer b) want to come to us, and c) be at a price we can afford. VVD was the only one who ticked all of the above boxes of the CBs that we wanted to sign. End of. Stop using that as a stick to beat the manager with.

11.) 16 Oct 2017 02:21:17
Give him a chance,
He's been out injured since January and is definitley playing within himself,
Add in all our nonsense during the transfer window and its no wonder he's below par,

12.) 16 Oct 2017 06:00:01
Ings

Why don’t you name a few or read the post or check with the editors who we were interested! Lol!
The fact is there weren’t any! Koulibaly was the only one we were interested and that went no where!
Klop wants VVD! Either you accept Klopp is chasing a medicore, terrible, out of position Center backs, or change your opinion on the player!

Lol VVD would cost us in the excess of £70 mill and you claim he ticks all the boxes including FAIR TRANSFER FEE!

Your obsession over Klopp is a LOL!

13.) 16 Oct 2017 07:45:44
The fact a load of grown men are saying LOL is enough to make me laugh out loud ;)

14.) 16 Oct 2017 09:12:01
Napoli plays a high line and they score for absolute fun. Their defense is good if you compare it to their high line high attacking set up. But unlike us they don't complicate the midfield by playing hard core B2B players all over the pitch. They okay a specialist Holding mid which helps them to sweep the first and immediate danger thrown at to them. They also have a very good keeper ad two good full backs.

Are there any other team in Europe who plays high line? Let’s not buy anyone coz there aren't any!

15.) 16 Oct 2017 10:57:38
Harry, several teams in Germany alone, play the high line. The German national team plays the high line as well and so do Barca.

Is Klopp shall I say very forceful Ed his way or no way?

{Ed001's Note - not really forceful, but he knows what he wants and it can take a fair bit to persuade him to change tack.}
