Klavan is apparently heading to Italy today after Liverpool agreed a £2 million deal with Cagliari.

1.) 17 Aug 2018 10:05:41
Good luck to him, I like Ragnar.

It would seem that Klopp is putting more faith in Joe as a CB this season, which is good news.

Matip is back in training too.

2.) 17 Aug 2018 12:24:39
If true then good luck to him, I always felt he gave his all and was one of our more dependable CBs in a shaky defence before we brought in VVD.

3.) 17 Aug 2018 13:02:12
Would you think it is because of Gomez or do you think might be Phillips coming through as well as Klavan was down the pecking order any way?

4.) 17 Aug 2018 13:36:24
I reckon it'll be a case of "£2m in the pocket is better than £1-2m spent on wages for someone who might play 5 games this season". Business decision, and a good one, although I do like Klavan, never let us down.

5.) 17 Aug 2018 13:57:16
Good luck to the Ragman, always gave his all.

6.) 17 Aug 2018 15:09:56
Best wishes to Ragnar.
A true professional.
YNWA.

7.) 17 Aug 2018 15:52:04
It seems we'll see Nat Phillip's a lot more this season, if Klavan leaves. Mario is now injury prone; Gomez has a history too. Lovren missed weeks at a time from time to time. Van Dijk has had a long lay off before.
I like Nat Phillips though. Seems very composed.

8.) 17 Aug 2018 17:44:00
Mario?
Did I miss a signing in the summer?

9.) 17 Aug 2018 18:44:02
Hahaha Matip!

10.) 17 Aug 2018 19:59:42
If it’s lovren and vvd first choice and Gomez and Matip second, we don’t need Klavan, so the money as saved wages is okay. Always got Phillips and I reckon Fabinho or hendo could do a job there if desperate.

11.) 17 Aug 2018 23:46:02
Didn't expect to see this happen to be honest. I thought Klopp really rated him.
Good luck to the lad.

12.) 18 Aug 2018 06:49:30
Was he not a short term solution from the get go, think he does deserve to be allowed to move for regular football. Best of luck.

13.) 22 Aug 2018 06:46:27
I liked Ragner. Would've much rather preferred for Matip to go, but with all those injuries no one would be interested in buying him.

All the best to Klavan!

19 Jul 2018 12:34:03
Monchi, Roma sporting director: "Alisson-Liverpool deal will be official soon. They made a world-record bid for a goalkeeper and we decided to sell Alisson".

1.) 19 Jul 2018 13:18:07
Absolutely buzzing.

2.) 19 Jul 2018 13:27:57
Now and then FSG pull out a blinder, very impressed with this signing.
It's a lot of money but it needed to be done, and they've done it.
Three top players (so far) in this transfer window. Get in there.

3.) 19 Jul 2018 13:33:51
Brilliant news .

4.) 19 Jul 2018 13:52:58
LFC is playing CM2018, sell players for good prices, then use money buy good players.

5.) 19 Jul 2018 14:32:43
I'm pretty happy with this transfer window, think we should stop now as I'm not seeing where Fekir fits really, regardless of how good he may or may not be, and don't want to have a £70m player sat on the bench ahead of our promising youngsters.

6.) 19 Jul 2018 15:25:37
Very impressed with FSG. Supporting the manager to the hilt, showing ambition to play with the big boys in the business and definitely increasing their risk appetite.

7.) 19 Jul 2018 15:30:18
Now and then Juicer?
They've always backed their manager with money. Even when that manager thinks it's a good idea to splash 40+ million quid on Christian Benteke. Or a similar amount on Markovic + Balotelli. They must be delighted that their money is actually being put to good use now.

8.) 19 Jul 2018 16:47:31
FSG have rebuilt Anfield, brought in a top manager and have backed that manager, have now built a top quality squad and the management structure has also improved immensely off the pitch. FSG genuinely want success and I think it won’t be far away. Can’t wait for the new season go start.

9.) 19 Jul 2018 18:03:15
Post of the day FranklyMrShankly, well said sir 👍.

10.) 19 Jul 2018 18:17:08
Also they r ploughing £50 million into Kirby which is also good going.

11.) 19 Jul 2018 18:49:15
FowlersGold - are they really?
I am not local so would love some details if you have a reference?
(Genuinely interested. )

{Ed001's Note - they have moved the first team training there from Melwood.}

12.) 19 Jul 2018 18:58:17
Great post FranklyMrShankly.

13.) 19 Jul 2018 21:07:44
Basically in a nut shell just to elaborate on what Ed’s sed (the Jurgenator) is that Melwood is just not up to scratch like most of the top clubs in the premiership, so FSG are updating Kirkby and we are moving away from melwood into a very modern and up to date complex. We will be sharing with the all the academy players under one big happy sunny roof😁.

17 Jul 2018 17:54:12
Harry Wilson gone to Derby on loan. Good luck lad.

1.) 17 Jul 2018 17:59:44
One for the list.

2.) 17 Jul 2018 18:03:59
Yeah I look forward to your loan updates again carra mate.

3.) 17 Jul 2018 18:08:30
Best of luck to the lad. Hope it’s a great move for him and comes back with the tools needed to kick on to the next level. Looking forward to the updates Carra. They’re brilliant altogether.

4.) 17 Jul 2018 18:12:41
I can see this being a very good loan for him, i look forward to him coming back next season.

5.) 17 Jul 2018 18:13:44
I hope he gets the experience he needs. High hopes for this young man.

6.) 17 Jul 2018 18:29:58
Pity no prem league team fancied a pop at him. I like Gary Rowett tho so expect him to rip the championship up.

7.) 17 Jul 2018 18:31:50
Oh wait he's stoke now. Ah well.

8.) 17 Jul 2018 18:54:35
Should be able to watch him in a few games this year, will try and do updates if and when I do!

9.) 17 Jul 2018 19:01:04
Isn't it Lampard running the show up there now Ben?

02 Jul 2018 08:01:41
Salah has signed a new long term contract!

1.) 02 Jul 2018 08:04:23
Just heard that. great news but in this day and age it doesn’t mean that much.

2.) 02 Jul 2018 08:11:35
You're not wrong Cobra.

3.) 02 Jul 2018 08:12:42
Let’s just enjoy and be happy with what we have.

4.) 02 Jul 2018 08:14:42
Thats great news perhaps ramos as put him off signing for real madrd lol😁.

5.) 02 Jul 2018 08:23:51
It does mean something!
If we sell him it’ll be for a fortune!

6.) 02 Jul 2018 09:16:13
Pretty sure pipco signed a 5yr contract 6 months prior to handing a transfer request in.

7.) 02 Jul 2018 09:18:04
It at least means that we are recognising when players roles within our team change and reward it.

8.) 02 Jul 2018 09:35:12
Salah may have signed a new contract but we now know he speaks about himself in the third person ;)

Players come and go but the contract protects us against losing a prize asset (likely increases any transfer fee in the future), acts as a good PR message that the club are moving on after the disappointment of the CL and the player has been awarded for his efforts last year. So let’s try and be positive, roll on 2018/ 19!

9.) 02 Jul 2018 09:39:15
Seems some People are never happy. Would you prefer it if he refused a new long term contract?

10.) 02 Jul 2018 09:46:52
Swishcleaner has it spot on, just be happy that he's got the new contract instead of complaining about things that have happened in the past!

11.) 02 Jul 2018 12:37:51
OP, why are you boasting about your own pay rise?!

That's just bragging!

;-)

12.) 02 Jul 2018 16:17:50
@WYred downvoted your post there by accident, was made up to see it let me upvote as well (strange? ) but just wanted to say I 100% agree with what you said there, I like Jurgen’s quote when he said that mo signing on shows that we reward individuals for the part they play FOR the group, and that it proves there is a home for world class talent at Anfield - that bit made me smile massively! - great way to start the season knowing 2 of the front 3 are already signed up for extensions and hopefully Mané will have some the same come August. great post lid!

13.) 02 Jul 2018 17:01:27
I must admit Zed, it feels bloody good, I can go get an extra car per week now and still be rich!

Chance would be a fine thing mate lol.

Hope you all enjoyed my message to the Liverpool fans earlier ;) .

14.) 02 Jul 2018 17:58:29
Means nothing these days except he won't be moving this Summer.

15.) 02 Jul 2018 18:32:40
Cheers red pasty, it amazes me how far the club have come over the last decade and hopefully more to come. I really hope we win something (CL or Prem) with Klopp so he can sit alongside the greats that have managed the club.

16.) 02 Jul 2018 22:56:05
Happy he signed but also worried now about the curse of the new contract, Sterling, Suarez, Couthinho (think there might be another name or two) all signed a new contract and were sold within a year.

17.) 03 Jul 2018 08:59:08
mflis, I wouldn't worry to much, if I have a season like last season again then no team will be able to afford me! let's just enjoy the moment mate :) .

18.) 03 Jul 2018 16:32:13
mflis, pretty certain Gerrard, Carragher and countless others also signed plenty of new contracts and didn't leave the next year!

Why is it that all of the players who want to leave Liverpool are men between the ages of 16-45?!

26 Jun 2018 12:11:11
Apparently Ings is looking for a move away from Liverpool, any truth to this? I think it was Ed1 who called this a few weeks ago and now it's coming true (sorry if it wasn't you Ed, might've been somebody else) .

If this is true good luck to him, I don't blame him if he does want to leave, he's hardly going to get game time here. I reckon he'll do really well elsewhere should he remain injury free.

{Ed001's Note - he wants regular football.}

1.) 26 Jun 2018 12:42:14
I imagine there will be a big interest in him.

Champions league final probably made his mind up for him plus the fact he's not looking at much starting time next year.

Hope to see him banging them in for someone next season.

What would liverpool be looking for him 15-20 million?

If fulham got interested i wouldn't mind him being use as makeweight for a potential sessegnon deal.

2.) 26 Jun 2018 13:43:51
Thing ings has got a lot of quality and will flourish in another side with regular starts.
Good luck to him.

3.) 26 Jun 2018 14:11:15
Clearly has lots of heart but is not technically gifted, feel sorry for him but we need to stop buying players who have a good game or two against us, we did much the same to Aspas only he was one that got away in the end, Inge should go back to Burnley.

4.) 26 Jun 2018 14:20:38
It’s a shame that in three seasons we never got to see what he could do. Hope it works out for him.

5.) 26 Jun 2018 17:44:30
I know he wants to go but it would b a huge mistake by us. Played quite well at the back end of the season. English striker 26yo who will go for about 15million. I’d rather him than Origi.

6.) 27 Jun 2018 08:36:43
Fowlersgod I strongly disagree with all your points. A 'huge mistake' He had stinkers at the back end of the season, which games are you referring to? Poor against Everton and especially vs Stoke, never did anything much off the bench except look off the pace and scored 1 goal agiants West Brom, a nice memory for the lad but that was it. a midtable 26yo striker who has barely played any football in 3 years? I'd snap up 15mil. I hope Origi signs a new contract to retain his value and takes Ings place in the squad, then scores some goals and helps us win some silverware. That makes more sense to me. Anyway, Origi wants to stay and give it a shot while Ings wants to leave, so it's a pointless discussion really. For me though Firmino/ Origi/ Solanke/ Brewster is plenty of depth of strikers.

Oh my I just can't wait for tonight! Predictions? I aren't going to predict a score with this one (I always get them bloody wrong lol) but what I will say is I'm confident we'll win tonight! Nerves don't come into it with this game because I think we have enough to give them a real shock! Bring them on!

1.) 18 Sep 2018 11:30:16
I agree with myself wholeheartedly! Back from honeymoon via a 39 hour non stop trek across Europe. Completely out of touch with the world, missed spurs and forgot about tonight. Cheers for the wonderful reminder Salah, and I do hope you are doing well. For the fans traveling there, ba safe guys, amazing city (which hates anyone who doesn’t speak fluent French as I was quickly reminded of after half a decade away) but sadly at the moment it’s reminiscent of visiting Belfast during the troubles. That said there is a major presence of police, and army everywhere and obviously it’s the absolute minority ruining another culture’s name but there were 3 separate “incidents” in the short period involving tourists while we were there, so just be a little vigilant and enjoy the match. As for Rome, well proudly declaring that I was a Liverpool fan was met with some interesting reactions.

2.) 18 Sep 2018 11:32:28
Of course, if you are in Paris tonight, find a good pub to watch it cos I just saw that it’s in anfield. 39 hours traveling folks.

{Ed002's Note - These are Liverpool supporters - there will no doubt be plenty in Paris tonight on their way back from the Champions League final in Russia.}

3.) 18 Sep 2018 11:53:03
That’s true ed, we do get lost easily. It’s a total conspiracy!

4.) 18 Sep 2018 11:58:23
Cheers aoe, hope you had a great honeymoon :) . Glad to see you back mate!

5.) 18 Sep 2018 13:01:28
I think we’ll win tonight Salah. It’ll be a big test but Anfield will be rockin. Tonight could be the night the front 3 start to really click. 3-0.

6.) 18 Sep 2018 12:50:08
I’m going to try and post a little more often. The last few months have been really busy getting my company up off the ground. I usually get some time to read the posts but when I start posting I get waaaaaay too invested. I have to find the happy medium to be honest. I have a big book launch in the next two weeks and I’m working a convention next month so I’m flat out. It’s worth it though. While I’m nowhere near making any real money, my debut novel has become a bestseller in a few fantasy categories in the us and uk. With a bit of luck, my second book which is a satirical take on fake news and hailed as “a fantastic read” (by my mom) is projected to go number 1. Not actually kidding. That said, I’ll need about 10 books out in the market before I’m making enough to support my lollipop addiction and actually afford a house. To all the budding authors on this site, I’ll be able to hand out pretty helpful info on the publishing world and how to actually grind out a living (without selling delicious numbers like George rr Martin, or jk Rowling, ) at some point next year for those interested. As of now, while I’d love to give details and give myself a plug, it’s just not worth the trolls getting on and hammering a few one stars for a laugh and jeaporadise everything me and my wife have built so far. There are definitely a few people on the site I’d love to pass on a copy to or at least show that I’m not actually a compulsive liar, yourself included, maybe at some point we can sort something out. Sorry for the self praising rambling.

{Ed001's Note - no harm in self promotion mate, sometimes you have to if you are going to get anywhere.}

7.) 18 Sep 2018 13:30:47
Wow wee, aoe. Congratulations and good luck. I’m not going to pretend that I am up to any standards for publishing yet - I’ve not even got half way to finishing my first book, but I would love to make a living as an author at some point so I admire your efforts to get feet on the ladder. If you can point a way to being able to get my hands on a copy somehow (I will pay), I’d be very keen to give it a read.

As for score tonight, 3-0. Salah, Milner (pen), Mane. Job done.

8.) 18 Sep 2018 13:32:46
aoe - love a fantasy book and if you ever feel solid enough to give out it's name I'd love to read it (although I would never accept a free copy, I'm delighted to pay artists when I want to enjoy their creations)

9.) 18 Sep 2018 16:26:12
I'd also be more then happy to purchase one aoe, sounds exciting for you mate so I'm sure many people here would be more than willing to support you with this.

Good luck with this aoe, I sincerely wish you all the best with it.

10.) 18 Sep 2018 17:06:17
AOE, I'm interested in your book, I'm more than happy to help support you.

11.) 18 Sep 2018 17:51:50
Congrats aoe, love a good fantasy or satire myself. Let me know how I could get a copy and I certainly want to pay for it. Cheers!

12.) 18 Sep 2018 18:31:02
Congratulations aoe. I'd love to get my missus a copy as she's into the fantasy genre, so I'd love to buy one. Not for myself though, as I can't read.

16 Sep 2018 07:06:31
Morning all,

What a great three points that was, 5 out of 5 wins, 3 clean sheets, 2 goals conceded! We're laughing! Now PSG fancy a go? bring them on, I can't wait to see Neymars face at the end once we've ran rings around them.

What's exciting me more than anything at the moment is we aren't playing incredible football yet, nowhere near what we're capable of and we're still winning, imagine when we start? I'm sure we'll of turned it up a notch by the time the 15th Dec comes around ;) .

I've said it since before the season started that we are capable of beating anybody, nobody can match us! I'm not nervous about any team yet I think we'll find the majority of teams will be bricking it at the thought of playing us and so they should.

We will lose games it happens but we will also win the league, believe!

Have a great Sunday everyone.

1.) 16 Sep 2018 07:14:52
Yea we are now controlling the games not many teams will go and make spurs players look average, and we do hit top gear we are going to thrash someone very soon, nice to see you back salah ynwa.

2.) 16 Sep 2018 07:20:01
Agreed tim and thank you mate.

3.) 16 Sep 2018 07:24:28
15th December Salah? My bday. are the boys coming round with cake? Get in.

Oh we’re playing the old enemy. Yeah we’ll be firing by then. Can’t wait to give Jose a spanking!

4.) 16 Sep 2018 09:43:01
Outside of blind optimism, we need to change a bit. Pure optimism won’t take you much far. Saw city play yesterday.
Looks carbon copy of what they did last year. Not much of a fatigue sign or anything. In fact they don’t even miss KDB anymore!

1. Salah and Mane needs to sort themselves out which is my biggest issue now! Can’t have another Suarez and Sturridge Corrundum. Klopp belives in team game.

2. Kieta is still a misfit in the midfield. I know people are over excited about the player and rightly so. He is an incredible player but played completely out of what he produces. Atm he is not even close to Kante let alone Kante plus goals.

3. Tweak the midfield a bit and I am sure we will like excellent. I would like Kieta to see more of the ball and that only happens if he plays little deep as we play out from the back.

4. I would like to see shaqiri in the midfield. Which is another attacking element like City and would free up th front three and the pressure is taken off from them.

5.) 16 Sep 2018 10:34:57
Why does everything have to compare to city? They won it last year doing things their way, let us do it in ours. If you like them so much, go and support them.

6.) 16 Sep 2018 11:33:38
usual positive comments from Harry, 5 from 5 and still complains. we're 2 points in front in of city in case you dint notice - hows that for a comparison.

7.) 16 Sep 2018 11:48:28
Morning Mo. Here's a thought. What if the way the team is playing now is the new normal? Many have said we have a more balanced team (our defense is much improved) and we seem to be less of a risk taking team that swiftly throws 6-7 players into attack mode, the moment we have possession of the ball. Ed001 has hinted that Buvac's departure could be related to this tactical shift. More focus is being placed on keeping possession. And we seem perfectly content on "grinding" out wins; wins that ended up as draws or losses last year.

You need to start hitting the net, Mo. 2 goals in 5 matches is not bad, but you need to get back to that goal-a-game pace. The longer it takes you to catch last year's form, the more difficult it will be as the season continues. And I do agree that Keita is probably not being utilized to the best of his ablities. I'd rather see him in a central position and deeper than where he is playing now. A Henderson-Keita-Milner midfield on Tuesday would be interesting to see. Wiji is in good form but it's probably time for a rest.

8.) 16 Sep 2018 12:32:57
My point was about how we played. I know we are top of the league and we could play a lot better. Which is why I have laid a few points in favour of it.

9.) 16 Sep 2018 12:47:36
Only we aren't actually top of the league.
1 goal diff between us and Chelski.
It's right to keep things in perspective though.

10.) 16 Sep 2018 14:16:49
Harry is spot on.

Salah and mane are playing for themselves that's the problem. There not looking for that extra pass they where last year.

Keita for me is beyy3r higher up behind 2. Sorry Harry

But wij needs to go and Milner for Shaq.

Hendos, keita and Shaq. For me.

11.) 16 Sep 2018 14:57:07
I can’t believe ArAy has agreed with me over Kieta and his position😁😁. Everytime I see the team sheet I beg to see him in the middle and not wide left or right. He is such a gifted player! Remember that run from deep our own half to pick Salah earlier this season. His best feature is his drive with the ball and in between his dribbling ability. And that is limited when you are playing on the flanks.

12.) 16 Sep 2018 15:51:02
You make a great point there Ra and is something that has previously crossed my mind, if this is the new normal then it'll do me mate lol.

I do need to start scoring more, I was going to score yesterday but realised the lads had it under control so I thought I'd save the goals for PSG ;) .

13.) 16 Sep 2018 16:38:47
Not sure if I agree that resting Wini for one of seasons biggest games is a good idea. This isn’t the League Cup, or whatever it’s called this week, and we should be playing our best team to win every game. The temptation to fix something that isn’t broken should be resisted. I’m sure Klopp has it sorted.

14.) 16 Sep 2018 17:41:00
Harry, get over it. Even you are allowed to get a thing or two right, once in a while. Like maybe twice per season 😝.

Mo, that Hazard dude is mounting a serious challenge to your crown. We need a hat trick from you soon 😉.

15.) 16 Sep 2018 17:46:31
ND, when you're mounting a title challenge and allowed probably only 2 to 3 losses the entire season, and want to win 3 other competitions as well, every single game is an important one. That's why you need to rotate and give players a break regardless of how important a game is, because each game has an impact. You can't start your best 11 every single game and it's impossible for the modern footballer to play modern football for 50-60 games per season.

15 Sep 2018 06:23:35
Morning Eds/ reds,

Finally the day has come! it took long enough didn't it? Hope you all have a great time today watching us rip them to shreads :) . This is the game I see us putting in a real top performance, Spurs won't handle us!

Hope everybody is well.

1.) 15 Sep 2018 06:46:37
Cheers salah, a bit nervous about the match today after last year at Wembley. got to remember our defence has been completely overhauled since then tho!

2.) 15 Sep 2018 08:37:29
I am feeling positive that we will put in a top performance today. Last years game was a disaster but we have improved such a lot in the past year.

VVD, Allison, Robertson, Keita all make such a difference and Mane didn't play last year either.

3.) 15 Sep 2018 08:44:39
Can't wait! 9:30pm kick off in Australia :)

4.) 15 Sep 2018 08:49:41
Jonesythered, I feel you. Finally a decent time for us in Australia to tune in!

5.) 15 Sep 2018 09:37:07
Exactly my thoughts too mark mate, the additions we've brought in, we'll get them dealt with I have no doubts about it.

Aussiemark, where are you? I'm in Hervey Bay, qld. Wife is about to go to bed as she's not into any sport. My red mad son is away so it'll just be me and a nice Barossa Shiraz. No complaints. Just about to FaceTime my brother still living in Liverpool, so good to have some local connection.

Morning all, Just a quick note, to all of the people who emailed me, if I haven't replied yet I soon will do. There's been loads (over 40). Just thought I'd let you know so you don't think I'm being ignorant :) . I'm about halfway through them I think lol I'm not used to typing so much!

Hope everybody is well and hope you all have a great day!

Good morning Ed1, Ed2, Ed25, Ed33 all the other Eds and everybody else!

So I wanted to share this yesterday but didn't get around to doing so (bloody wedding aniversary) .

So I'm marking this day and every other day as the Ed appreciation day, they don't get enough appreciation, apart from Christmas and New year time you see every other poster making a post about how thankful they are to the Eds, let's all thank the Eds today for everything they do.

Let's go a bit deeper! Ok so last week I wanted to donate £2000 to the Eds so they could split it, I've always donated to charaties and although they aren't a charity in my opinion it was just the right thing to do because what they do for these sites and the community they have built, it's incredible really isn't it? I've said this before and I don't want to go repeating myself but I think it's far too easy for us as posters to forget all of the work what goes into these sites and only two of them get paid for it! you see what I mean?

Anyway, the conversation was with Ed1 and he/ Ed33 politely declined the money but Ed1 suggested to donate it to St Johns Ambulance because they mean a lot to him personally so I thought that was a great idea. Yesterday I donated £1400 to them, it was originally going to be £1500 but I'll get to that in a minute. £500 will be saved for the charity game next year by the way.

So there's £100 left, now before I start I want to just point out, I'm no angel, I'm a normal fella living a normal life but I've been through struggles in life and I'm not talking about the recent one with me getting attacked but I mean mental struggles, financial struggles etc I'm not a Mr know it all but I've been through it let me tell you. Right now, life is treating me well and I just feel like it's only right to give back when I can.

After all the support I got on here, I just need to do something for somebody, I got messages of support from so bloody many of you and I wish I could thank you all individually but there's far too many who posted! But anyway, out of all them people, there's atleast one of you who will be going through finincial difficulties right now, there's nothing wrong with that apart from it being rubbish for yourself and sometimes you just need a little help right? well if you do give me an email and the £100 is yours. (PD188170@protonmail. com) first come first serve, I wish I could help everybody on earth but I'm not rich unfortunately lol :) . I'm not the real Salah you see! (Appolagies for the dissapointment) .

Again I'm no special person, I just think it's the right thing to do, to give back a little. Today isn't about me it's about the Eds, I really hope you can all come together and thank the Eds for what they do, they are incredible people in so many ways, I mean to reject even money offered to them shows this so those who are abusive to them I advise you really think twice before going on one because they don't deserve it at all.

If you've got this far I thank you, I thank you for the messages of support, I thank the Eds for everything you fellas do, it's really special this website so let's treat it with the respect it deserves.

Hope everybody has a fantastic day and thank you for reading.

Oh and by the way whoever does email me, I'll be in touch at the very latest tonight, I have no idea what I'm doing today you see so if I don't reply it'll be later on when I'm chilling :) .

{Ed001's Note - thank you mate, I really appreciate the kind words.}

1.) 05 Sep 2018 06:45:03
Post of the millennium.

Very generous mate. There is no reply to do that post justice 👏.

{Ed025's Note - we need more salah,s in this world ron..

2.) 05 Sep 2018 07:14:13
Somehow your post doesn’t surprise me having got to know you a little better since your terrible ordeal Salah. I’ve commented before that you are a very humble and generous man, and a better one than me with your actions. If I had a hat on I would be taking it off to you Sir.

3.) 05 Sep 2018 07:17:21
Salah, send it to Neymar to put a bet on us winning the league. the bitter little runt! Anyway, brilliant to have you back Salah pal, hope recovery is well.

4.) 05 Sep 2018 07:26:37
Words fail me.

What Ron said.

Legend, and true gent.

5.) 05 Sep 2018 07:28:23
With everything you've gone through recently mate, most people would be using all the strength the have to recover both mentally and physically so for you to be sitting there wondering what you can do to help other people out really does speak volumes as to the person you are. I've been through the toughest two years of my life and it's still going on but as silly as it sounds, the solace I have taken from the people on this site, both eds and reds has really helped me through it.

I'm sure that money will go to help someone who genuinely needs it and it could be at a time when they think there is no one they can turn to so that gesture by you could be the one thing that literally turns someone's life around at their lowest ebb so for that Salah, I applaud you. Anyone who's losing faith in humanity, I urge them to read through this site when people have problems and look at the support they get from people they've never met before and it will restore it. Well done Salah, fortunately for me I won't need to send that email but anyone that does, don't let pride stand in the way, use it for what you need and when life turns around for you, hopefully you'll be in a position to pay it forward to someone else in need.

I relocate back to the UK in a couple of weeks for 4 years to be back with my children after a long court battle. After a month to get me settled I would happily do something similar, we're one family on here so anyone struggling, I don't know if it's something the eds could set up where we could have an anonymous donation pot on here and any poster really struggling with nowhere else to turn could drop the eds an email and a percentage of the pot or the whole pot could be given to these posters at the eds discretion. Just a thought and another example of us ensuring no one on this site ever walks alone.

{Ed025's Note - nice post welsh, salah,s plight has certainly brought out the best in people on here and has restored my faith in humanity mate..

6.) 05 Sep 2018 07:36:51
You're an exceptional person Salah. My words could never do you justice.

7.) 05 Sep 2018 07:59:33
Not all heroes wear capes.

Salah, you're a legend mate. The world could do with more people like you.

8.) 05 Sep 2018 08:16:10
Lovely words and sentiments.
Special thanks to the Editors too.

{Ed001's Note - cheers TJ.}

9.) 05 Sep 2018 08:18:57
Lovely. Can i please encourage people not to email unless this is a real blessing to you. If you read Salah's post and it felt like an answer from above, then this is meant for you.

10.) 05 Sep 2018 08:28:59
Well done Salah. It is good to give when the opportunity arises. I'm sure the £100 Will go to a good home and the £1400 is amazing. You should feel proud of yourself, so again well done. The Eds? They aren't a bad bunch, even Ed25, they deserve to be treated how you would expect people to treat you is the best way I can put it.

11.) 05 Sep 2018 09:11:59
All I want from you Salah is to buy you a pint, or 2 or 6, but you are such a saint I bet you don't drink.

12.) 05 Sep 2018 08:46:09
Top top man.

13.) 05 Sep 2018 09:20:12
Top man Salah. I might even like you more than the real Salah! ;)

14.) 05 Sep 2018 09:53:01
Top man and true gent Salah.

Thanks to you, all the Eds and all the reds for making this a great community and place to share our love for 2018/ 19 premier league champions fans 😂😂😂.

15.) 05 Sep 2018 10:23:22
Salah I tried to email you and it’s not going through?

16.) 05 Sep 2018 10:31:47
God bless you, Salah. Top man.

17.) 05 Sep 2018 10:34:19
Hats off to all of the Eds. Ed001, I bet when you set this site up all of those years ago, you wouldn't have imagined a thread like this? What an achievement for you and all of your team. You all should feel proud of what you have built. Nothing comes close.

Salah, great gesture mate and well done pushing the appreciation for the underappreciated Eds.

{Ed001's Note - I didn't expect any of this. I certainly never expected it to still be going 17 years later.}

18.) 05 Sep 2018 13:49:57
That's an incredible gesture Salah mate, something I wish I had the means to do, and something I'd like to think i'd consider doing once the kids stop taking all my money. so in about 40 years! :)

A true gent, and it's a privilege to be part of this community with you. If you ever find yourself in Inverness for your sins, I would be really happy to meet up with you and yours for a chat and a pint.

19.) 05 Sep 2018 21:00:21
Evening all, sorry for the late reply I've only just managed to get onto my computer. Thank you all so much for the kind words, you lot on here are a special bunch of people that's for damn sure. I am no better than any of you, I'm just a normal fella who is fortunate enough to be able to give a little back now you know? that doesn't make me a special person I'm just doing what I personally feel is right.

I got a lot of help in my dark times, so many times from people in life who never had to help me yet chose to because they're good people, now it's my turn to try and be half as good as them people :) . That's what life is about isn't it? progression.

I have received tons of emails today and I have only read a handful so far but they are sincerely touching, I will be replying to all emails asap so please don't think I'm ignoring you :) . If you missed out on the £100 I'm so very sorry but I will do my best to help you, let's see what we can sort out :) be patient and wait for my reply, as far as I know up until dinnertime tomorrow I'm doing bugger all so will try and get all emails replied to.

The person who messaged first is a regular of the site and really does deserve it but I won't share details unless I get his blessing to do so :) .

Thank you all again, Rugby Parker, if I ever end up in Inverness mate I'll be sure to let you know, it'd be a pleasure!

Lfcfan_03beef, oh I drink mate lol I'm just a terrible drinker, I get knackered after a couple, lightweight!

WelshScouse, that is a really fantastic and refreshing post mate, thank you so much for every single word you put there mate, people like you are bloody incredible mate.

20.) 06 Sep 2018 01:29:40
Salah, just want to concur with other posters. To go through what you suffered and come out the other side donating what is a significant sum of money to charity and £100 to a relative stranger speaks volumes about you.

I am full of respect and admiration for you and it is gestures like that which restore a little faith in humanity.

Good on you mate. Wishing you all the best.

21.) 06 Sep 2018 04:31:03
Salah, the money is nothing; your heart is gold!
Keep doing good things, my friend. I'm proud you're a Red. You'll never ever walk alone.

First time I'm hearing about them and it seems to be a load of nonsense imo mate, not that I know of course because I don't but with Ed2 saying the following,

{Ed002's Note - This might be something recycled from the summer. I am not aware of Liverpool having any discussions with his mother. }

It makes me think there's no truth to these rumours or certainly nothing solid at this moment in time anyway.

Good luck to the lad, fingers crossed he can reignite his career.

{Ed025's Note - good riddance is the words you are looking for salah, a drain on liverpools resources for far too long and contributed absolutely nothing mate, i would whisper those 3 little words in his ear...on yer bike..

I literally just booked it Ed1 mate lol going to Lake district for 5 days the week after next but yes, everybody is invited ;) . I'll see you down there mate! Hahaha.

I was so tempted to go for another deal, it was going to Vegas for 4 days then to New York for 3 days just short of £700pp but Vegas just doesn't interest us in the slightest, we aren't gamblers so saw no point. It was just tempting because of how cheap it was.

{Ed001's Note - never seen the big deal about Vegas, went there a few times but lots of flashing lights and slot machines and that was about it. I thought it had closed down years ago, I am pretty sure it wasn't there the last time I was in Lime Street....}

{Ed001's Note - cheers mate, hopefully a good one for you too. Did you book your break? Where are we going? You said us, so I assume all the posters and eds are invited to come along right?}

Tell me about it Ed, it's been far too long since I was last there. I'd love to go watch a big game at some point, you know like a derby or a CL game but the problem these days is getting the tickets lol it's a right pain in the arse! maybe one day though if I plan it properly, now I have more time though I'd bloody love to go back even if it is just for the tour, that'll do me just fine! I just want to get back inside there again lol.

My Mrs just isn't interested in football at all so shes not in on coming but I just know if I took her to Anfield she'd love it, who wouldn't? I should blind fold her shouldn't I and say 'we're going somewhere amazing just trust me on this one! ' not a bad idea actually that is it hahaha!
