Looking at how things are developing, I’d be very surprised if Diomande isn’t a Liverpool player by the end of the window.

PSG seem to have moved on to other targets, Liverpool’s interest has been consistent for a while, and the noises coming from various corners suggest the player is keen on the move.

For me, this now looks less like a question of if and more a question of when. The remaining discussions are likely around the final valuation and payment structure rather than whether the deal happens at all.

This gets done soon 100% in our opinion.

You heard it here first, Iraola is getting a full set of crowns/veneers before the end of the year.

Hopefully we have Diomande done soon, but I’d say we need a second wide player this window. For fun, who would everyone’s preference be?

Rumoured options are said to be

Alikouche.
Fofana.
Rayan.
Barcola.
Bowen.

I’d be happy with any of 1, 2, or 3.

Rayan. 💪

Still dreaming of Yildiz. But, more realistically, id take Bowen if it meant the difference in getting our other targets in.

Diomande RW, Barcola LW. Wins us the league in my opinion. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Lamine Camara + Wharton + youth team to replace Jones, Endo + Alexis.

Any idea who from the youth ranks is likely to be integrated?

No idea who it could be. However, the part of Iraola's interview where he said he is excited that the senior players are at the World Cup as it means he gets to spend time with the youth at the beginning of pre-season (or words to that effect)...

That got me excited, that made me think maybe we will see some more come through and be developed. That ticked a massive box.

I guess whoever steps up - Nyoni, Baj, The new Hungarian, Mconnell.

Too many wages have been wasted on high waged squad players, when that playing time can be shared amongst the hopefuls, to see who can make the step up.

Expect us to model something new from now on. CFC and MCFC have by far the best youth set ups, although, Pep aside, those young players tend to be used as currency.

I imagine LFC will soon become a destination as the pathway to the first team will be clearer than ever with Iraola in charge.

I may be eating some humble pie re Edwards and Hughes following this window.

A 30 second Clip tells me Iraola understands the importance of embracing the emotion of Anfield and Liverpool as a City! 👏🏻♥️

Welcome to LFC Andoni! YNWA

Ed01 said that Iraola left Bmouth because he thought it was time to step up and win things. Clearly, he was never going to do that with Bmouth even tho, coming 6th is a big deal with them.

The hope is he can bring the front foot footie back, fans are onside and our opps. are pooping their pants.

I feel like when Klopp became manager.
I did not really know Slot, so there was no excitement, but with Iraola I’ve seen his football for 3 seasons and if Liverpool was not playing and there was not a team I wanted to lose because they where in a battle with us I chose Bournemouth every time.

His football is exiting. It’s attacking, it’s everywhere you want to see.
The last 2 seasons, even with a title win, the football has been a very hard watch with not passion.
Iraola, Please bring back passion and fight into our club.

His football is already "exiting" the building, Grino? Man just got here.

Great to see Iraola confirmed! Really looking forward to having some attacking football again next season. A quick question, I’ve seen reports of Nunez returning today and also Trafford and the keeper from PSG too. Any truth in any of this?
