The late ‘Chinny’ Hill, who campaigned and fought for the wage cap to be lifted on football players, basing his argument on arguing that fact that ‘like any other stage performers or actors, footballers were the product, and deserved to earn what they were generating’ - we are seriously getting ripped off!!
This season has been the exact opposite - no entertainment but sky high wages

I’ve seen so many fans online, and the crap the club are putting out via journalists, bemoaning the exceptional circumstances surrounding this season.
Let’s just take the 20/21 season by comparison.
That year we finished 30 points away from our previous title year winning total. Finishing third on 69 points.
This season at best we will finish fourth on 62 points (22 points behind last year's total) or at worst seventh on 59 points (25 points behind last year's total).
- In that 20/21 season we lost 6 home games in a row.
- We used over 18 different centre back combinations.
- VVD played only started 5 games, Gomez started only 6 and Matip only 9.
- Henderson and Fabinho both played games at centre back weakening the midfield.
- Despite all of the above that team conceded as of now - 10 goals less than the current team when our ”best” centre backs have practically played every game and we have had our midfield fit for the pretty much the whole of the season.
- That 20/21 team will also almost certainly score more goals than the current team.
- That isn’t taking into account the summer before the respective seasons Klopp had a net spend of about £30 million and Slot had about £200 million.
The point I’m trying to make is that this team are performing worse than a team that genuinely was decimated by injuries. The core of this team, at least defensively, has remained largely intact but the team have shown they are so easy to play through all season. There is no fight, there is no bottle.
There are no excuses that can explain away these performances this season. The only exceptional circumstances are those that allow this clown show to continual to spiral.

The winning mentally set by Klopp is totally gone. In my opinion there's no turning back if we stick with Slot. We simply cannot go on another season with him in charge.

I was reading through some old posts from last winter, and some posters was so delusional, talking about how they believed Slot had the qualities and tools to win the Champions League. You defended him countless times with the usual “we’re still in three cups, unbeaten 13 games and in the top 4” argument.
Some of you changed your opinion later on, but we’ve been playing the same poor football since September/October.
So either you struggle to understand the game beyond just looking at results and points, or it was simply blind optimism, believing that positive thinking alone could somehow produce good results. Either way, just get this clown out now.

To be fair, a good % wanted him out after the 9 losses out of 12, Forest 3-0, PSV 4-1, but for me it was the Newcastle game. We won 3-2, they had a man sent off early on n they absolutely battered us.
It was embarrassing n I thought then he had to go n im no Mystic Meg, but look how the season has panned out.

Wow that was just crushing last night. The owners and directors can't be that stupid to have this guy devalue this football club next season.
If Brentford put a half decent performance in next week we are getting beaten.
Slot said recently we know where to improve next season. One is to get fitter. That statement is absolutely ridiculous, as a bare minimum the players should be fit.
I come on this site and hear about who could be manager and leaks from the club and Edwards playing games.
This is just depressing.
What a season, and I knew it was coming after the disgraceful attitude when we won the league last year. This started when Slot and the players checked out and went on holiday, just disgraceful.
With the amount of players and manger required, this could take years to repair. Sorry rant over.
