Nyoni - Swansea & Blackburn both interested (Loans/Buy Back if permanent).
Joao Gomes - No contact was even made despite rumours.
Zabarnyi from PSG still a possibility, but focus on another PSG player for now.
Macca to be offered new contract.

Mac Allister is a bitter taste decision regarding the Falklands Flag debacle. That smell will follow him around in the new PL season, but more importantly the club as well. Does the new manager deserve to inherit that also? A parting of the ways would be best for the club, and the player gets rid of the smell, we can then move on.
VVD and Becker are in their last 12 months also. Does Becker honour his last 12 months then go for nothing? Only time will tell. Another bitter taste regarding leaving himself out of the team for a WC campaign towards the end of the Arne Slot tenure? Your club must always come first for any LFC/Football supporter, it should not be your country first.
Be lucky if we get 50 million for the two? They have a one sided bargaining position (TAA and CON-ate went for £10 million combined).
Andoni to improve the players' fitness even more, is muting not double training sessions, but "Triple" training sessions. Cor blimey, when Arne Slot was here they never even done a Triple training sessions in one month, let alone one day!

He didn't hold it, did he?
18 Jul 2026 21:29:13
Hello Flange,
That's what the Judge said to the Actress!
He is pictured with all the other players who never held it. He has to fall in line with all his other team mates. Will he be using that to force a preferred move, obviously away from the English Premier League.

Looks like Iraola loves Chiesa. Looks like RW is going to be Chiesa.
If he can just roll down that couple of Juventus years he had for he will be adored beyond his wildest dreams in the city.
I want Chiesa to succeed. He is such a good guy with his heart in right place and desperately needs football.
18 Jul 2026 17:08:41
Sounds like you're making things up to suit your personal opinion. Nobody can criticise his attitude, just doubts over whether he can cut it in this league, but he hasn't been given a chance. A handy squad player, but is not good enough to be starting rw.
18 Jul 2026 19:23:25
If he can roll back those years and tread every blade of grass and not run into cul de sacs like he does sometimes then. You can't fault the lad for effort, but Italian league is so much slower and less competitive than the million miles a hour Premier League...
I love him, gives his all every game. We need more of them instead of the likes of McAllister daling over when his boot lace snaps...

I’ve been told it’s going to ramp up considerably this week all! Some big news regarding incomings.
18 Jul 2026 10:09:29
Really wish we had got Guehi last summer. If Glasner hadn’t been so petulant we would have had a gem of a player for a bargain fee. He was excellent for City and was one of the better England players.
18 Jul 2026 10:32:49
I thought he was a weak link for City and England to be honest. To me, he's a CB who needs to be in a back 5 where he's got cover next to him. He can patrol the channels ok, but he's not very good aerially and is not particularly quick or strong.
The way we want to play, we will be leaving the 2 CBs isolated against 1 or 2 attackers quite often, so they need to be able to win headers, outrun and outmuscle the attackers.
Everything that Guehi isn't very good at.
18 Jul 2026 10:44:15
I'm over Guehi tbh. Never went along with the whole "next Bobby Moore" rhetoric that's been spouted about him the last 12 months. We may have suffered in the last few months of last season from missing out on him, but now that we're in the off season, I prefer the signing of Jaquet.
18 Jul 2026 17:29:02
Not one person said Guehi is the next Bobby Moore.
18 Jul 2026 18:14:20
Sorry, Mayor, next John Terry then. Or Rio maybe. You get my point.
17 Jul 2026 20:50:32
Barcola will be an absolute waste of money if we sign him and pay anywhere near that amount of money. PSG will be forever laughing. Hughes should have been sacked with slot. The team needs two top midfielders and at the minute we're waiting to see what Jones wants to do, which is almost laughable and looking to spend a clean fortune on a player that's going to struggle in the Premier League.
Trossard is a far better player and he's left for abroad. I'd rather we prioritized two midfielders and forgot about any winger if we're spending 100plus million on Barcola, enabling PSG to then buy our primary target. Ludicrous. I've watched Barcola many times and he's miles off, and I mean miles off what PSG had available. Shocking scouting.
18 Jul 2026 08:04:53
?? Trossard is better really?? I've never seen anything with him... also, it's been mentioned multiple times by John Barnes is god that PSG will not entertain Diomande at the price RBL want.
18 Jul 2026 10:36:18
Trossard better than Barcola?
Say no to drugs, kids!
18 Jul 2026 10:45:40
We're waiting to see what Curtis does before signing a midfielder? Strongly doubt that.
18 Jul 2026 12:06:57
I thought the same, Florian. It doesn't make sense at all to wait on Curtis. He's just a fringe player, so why would it impact the signing of a starting player. It's not like he's a high earner either.
18 Jul 2026 12:15:50
I still think we will move Macca on & replace him instead of Jones.
18 Jul 2026 19:28:48
Trossard is nowhere near Barcola level!
He has been shipped off to Turkey by Arsenal, as they don't want him, so why we touch him!
Barcola will thrive under AI, he plays for the double Champions League winners and regular, he ain't a squad player. Jesus we can't sign Pele, R9, Messi and Maldini every transfer window.
Give the lad a chance if he joins...
Rather him than gangster rap Diomande... That lad will be like forgotten in two three years time unless he wakes up to the people who are handling his career very very badly.
17 Jul 2026 20:25:11
After the World Cup is over there will be 1 deal that causes a 'snowball' effect on transfers and feel that we will be right at the front of it.
18 Jul 2026 09:38:28
Olise may well be a big move that puts a lot of liquidity in the market. He's probably the closest thing to Salah style wise that exists right now, but the money would be crazy. If he went to Spain, that would trigger a whole load of other moves, so could be the one.
There's talk of Mbappe moving on as well, but I'm not sure anyone could afford him, unless Haaland went the other way.

I know it's a football site, but some people transcend individual sports.
R.I.P. Sir Garfield Sobers
Legend
{Ed025's Note - yeah what a great all rounder he was Zed, although Malcolm Nash may not agree with us mate.. :)
17 Jul 2026 23:28:07
He got Sobers out enough times, though! And at least that over pushed him back to medium-fast bowling!
18 Jul 2026 09:34:06
Zed & Ed - lucky enough to see him play at Bristol for Notts v Glos against my cricketing idol Mike Proctor!
Sobers last season & Proctor in his pomp
Great memories
{Ed025's Note - i would have loved to have seen him BR, my fondest memories were of watching Clive Lloyd at Aigburth mate..
18 Jul 2026 16:26:20
That's awesome Bristol! My first international cricket match was the worlds best all rounder in the next gen - Lord Botham - I will always remember that it was his first game back from his dope ban and he got a wicket with his first ball to tie the then world test wicket record!
Love a day at the cricket!

Liverpool signing Rayan be done next week. ?
17 Jul 2026 19:29:25
So, is our move for Konoplyanka off???
Gutted!
17 Jul 2026 19:42:07
Nice one, Clay. Proper spat my drink out laughing at that one. ?
17 Jul 2026 19:39:39
Deal or "No Deal"?
Source? or Ketchup!
Semenyo was circa £65 million transfer fee to Man City, no way Rayan £130 million touted is twice the player value than Semenyo!
Bayern are reported to be interested in Rayan also according to the anfield agenda, does that mean Olise goes to PSG, and we pay a fair share of that buying Barcola, if Olise does go to PSG, surely they will not require Diamonde also, regards Diamonde does that mean Bayern know his final destination will not be in Germany?
