Rip Atsu, I see he has died following the quake.

Hogan

RIP and YNWA.

2.) 18 Feb 2023 15:56:34
RIP. What a shock it must have been for the family to be first told he was alive and hospitalized, and then to be told that his body has been discovered in earthquake ruins.

As Toni has been mentioned on here, I see he’s assisting the FA over irregular betting from 2017 - 31st jan 2021, interesting.

{Ed025's Note - innocent until proven guilty hogan mate..

1.) 16 Nov 2022 20:07:48
Wouldn’t bet on it…then again!

{Ed025's Note - love it tommy..

2.) 16 Nov 2022 20:58:56
Apparently he bet on Everton to win a few games so there’s a severe lack of evidence that he was actually trying to win money.

{Ed025's Note - hey you JK...i do the jokes on this site.. :)

3.) 17 Nov 2022 05:52:56
232 instances sounds like a pretty specific number and perhaps a bit of an indicator of the likely outcome.

4.) 17 Nov 2022 12:15:10
I guess it depends on what he's betting on. If he's betting on himself to score then there's no issue as he will be trying to win. If he's betting on games he's not involved in that shouldn't be an issue surely as he can't affect the outcome. If he's betting on his team to loose or him to miss a penalty etc then there's a real issue .

5.) 17 Nov 2022 14:58:44
I think if he was betting on any game he was involved with it would be a problem. If he was betting on games he wasn’t involved with then there’s no issue. Hopefully it’s the latter.

Tyler Morton had a good game for Blackburn, who went top of Championship. Morton playing as a 6 most defensive in 2 man centre mid, tidy composed performance from him.

He takes most of the set pieces for them too. Nice to see Harvey Elliot in the stand watching too.

Hogan

1.) 19 Oct 2022 12:18:29
Liked the look of Morton on the few times I’ve seen him. Tidy and composed was my take too, and comfortable under pressure. I seem to remember he never shirked any 50/ 50s either. One to watch and great to hear he’s quietly progressing in the Championship. Good on Harvey for supporting his mate ??.

2.) 19 Oct 2022 13:29:33
Morton and Bajcetic are the ones to watch, for our future midfield. Clearly our best prospects. And the closest to our first team.

3.) 20 Oct 2022 00:23:52
I really can't see Morton being part of our future midfield.
There's more chance of Morton being part of Morton's future midfield.

Hi Ed’s,

Although early in season, I believe Tyler Moore playing no6, I’m aware he got 90 mins tonight, I assume he’s doing well, can you place any light that he is showing his quality?

Hogan

{Ed001's Note - I have no idea who that is. Sorry.}

1.) 01 Sep 2022 02:09:51
Hogan - I'd recommend watching them all season and follow the team news. you won't get the answers you're hoping to hear either way after one game.

2.) 01 Sep 2022 03:41:29
Please tell me his nickname is ‘Mary’. Lost opportunity otherwise ?.

3.) 01 Sep 2022 04:41:21
Bajcetic >>>>> Morton.

4.) 01 Sep 2022 09:02:07
Class - IDream. Mary. Ha! Favourite players nickname was One Size for the former player Fitz Hall.

5.) 01 Sep 2022 09:28:26
Soz late night, too many beers, Tyler Morton I was talking about, I remember discussion on here, people questioned him being a no6, it appears he played 6, I was curious of Ed’s greater knowledge if he’s doing well thus far.

Like everyone, I love it when youngsters come through, hoping some of next batch make it and stay with us, obviously time will tell.

{Ed001's Note - I am so sorry, now you say it I should have realised. To be fair I had just woken up when I read it. He is expected to play further forward, his defensive qualities are a bit lacking, but it is possible he could learn. A lot of players do tend to drift back as their careers go on.}

6.) 01 Sep 2022 09:38:33
Thanks Ed appreciate the response and all work u guys do.

{Ed001's Note - very welcome mate.}

LTV, on the 2030 thing, I can add the United Nations have an agenda you can read on their site, it’s called Agenda 2030 - it’s not pretty.

I don’t see how a player purchases would necessarily be effected unless, the player is 30 or so.

If there’s a young player like Calcaido is purchased for 60 million, although it appears the club borrowing the money to gain the player, that player would be regarded as an asset of value on the books at his purchase price.

So I may be naive regarding this, but it’s how I see it re money and player purchase.

I’m in the “we have our targets”, they aren’t available this window, similarly the Virgil scenario, we had to wait.

Regarding the team as it stands, I think everyone is knackered, the players had an awesome season- last season, but the guy’s had covered the well documented “injury prone” players whilst playing every single possible game. They are fried atm.

After the match on Saturday maybe it’ll get traction, Caicedo as pointed out above, agent issue resolved this week, we play Saturday it’s like the star’s aligning.

Just my hunch, think it’ll get done soon after Saturday, I have no basis, but something in my waters tell me.

It will be interesting to see if Brighton and us have a different posture after the game on the 14th, re Calcedo.

Hogan

{Ed002's Note - Why would that game change anything? Liverpool have not made any approach to Brighton for the player.}

007 you cannot seriously use an England call as a basis of calling out Trent, I mean slabhead gets a call up and he doesn’t get on the pitch as far as I’m aware.

Thank goodness he’s not picked by N@bgate,
Question tho, Toni wasn’t picked for WC, yet now there’s more charges it’s time to pick him?

I gave up on England after first few games of N@bgate in charge, thinking the possibility of a new dawn initially.

I thought Jota had a very good game in reality for his first start in a while, the front 3 pressed together, they looked pretty fluid too considering lack of playing time together.
Q, The disallowed goal, I thought that it was a pen on Jota, he was imo levered with a leg taking him, I get jota’s right foot took out the covering defender but. as I’ve stated, Jota getting taken out led to his stretch with his R peg, thoughts ppl?

Young Stefan is a joy to watch, I’m seriously impressed with him - if he’s a player who doesn’t get injured the sky’s the limit for the kid, not far off Pedri and Gavi imo.

A big hand for the kids making it past Porto, an unbelievable pen given against the kids in the 8th min (seriously look at it), they worked hard, got a leveller from Fraundorf, could have won with little more accuracy as we pretty much controlled the 2nd half. Fingers crossed they get some players back in time for the QF?

Keep Joe Gomez, he just needs game time, there’s deeper issues with our defence which wouldn’t have aided him, all of them have made errors.
He’s HG and he’s at a good age, as pointed out above can play across the defence too.

Just a question to the guy’s about the Madrid match, I noticed more than once it appeared there was an issue with Alison and VVD and communication between them both, I thought VVD as vocal guide for the defence and so on, yet those incidents I noticed says contrary.

Bellingham, surely it’s a no brainer, he, to quote, is a generational talent, he’s still a teen. Therefore he will have a resale value even after a number of years at the club should we be able to secure his services.

I get that it could be difficult getting it over the line, but it’ll be a win win in the long term.

Interesting re the stadium and info above regarding the maximum expansion, tx guy’s, I was under the impression that the kop end was on the future agenda for expansion to 12,500 with the new standing aspect being a part of the revamp of the Kop.

I assume due to the info I’ve read that’s not going to happen in time.
