Evening all hope all is good.

Interested in people's views on Micheal Olise as a potential Salah replacement, young, great speed and gets goals and assists. Look there is never going to be anyone in the same bracket of a prime Salah but Klopp has a habit of making good players into great ones. Be interested in people's thoughts if they think he would be a viable replacement. I guess Crystal Palace would be looking for a huge transfer fee if anyone did come a calling.

Bowen just turned 28 and should Salah leave in a couple of years, Bowen will be 30 so nope, I'll pass.

As for Olise, I like him a lot and have done for the past 2 years BUT he needs to show a little bit more before I consider him a true option to replace a world class player and PL monument that Salah is.

I like Olise I think he’s a great player I think we would be taking a major punt on potential as he hasn’t really scored many but he has been in a woy team for most his career .
But look at Gordon hardly set anything alight with the ev and looks one of the toons best players .

If Harry Kane cost Bayern Munich 110 Million Euros at age 30, then that's it for your benchmark for players of Kane and Salah's experience and production. Even if Salah is sold above 100 Million, I doubt very much that you will get someone much younger with the same production at the same price. You'll have to pay higher.

To buy a player at age 25 for 35 Million and then sell him for almost 3 times higher (100 Million) at age 31-32 is not the rule but rather the exception. You have to accept we got lucky.

Rabh, tickets are usually accessed through either Google wallet or apple pay. You'll need to download it all through the lfc website and they'll be walk-through on how to do it.

There is no Salah replacement to be had. If anyone thinks we are going to go and buy a player that gets Salah's numbers regularly they are kidding themselves because he wasn't that player at Roma when we bought him. We need to find the next lad with slot of potential and I personally think olise fits the bill, certainly more than Bowen (age) and Same (age and attitude) .

Sane is only turning 28 in Jan. He could have at least 4 good years at the very top in my opinion. If Klopp wants him and I don’t have to pay his wages then that’s good enough for me?.

Olise looks like he’s a player on the up and at 22 he’s a good age. 5 goals in 9 games this season is good going. To me he’d make more sense than Sane or Bowen as it’s more in keeping with how we work.

Mizer - Elliott doesn’t have the raw speed, movement or lethal instincts that make Salah such a devastating player. Elliott is a fantastic young player but I think his best qualities as a player are when he is in possession, whereas Salah’s are often when he’s popped up in a yard of space no one saw.
I have no idea who should replace Salah when the time comes. He is the greatest right forward to ever play in England and might not be worth trying to replace like for like.

I don’t think we can replace Salah with 1 player. The numbers he puts up are astonishing.

We might end up with a Jota/ Diaz situation but on the other flank because no single player could replace Mane either.

We just need to have an open mind I think. It's too easy to say we should buy x player as a replacement, I honestly don't have a clue who could come in and do what Salah does but at the same time I trust the club to get something done. When we signed Salah nobody knew what to expect and he went on to be incredible. Same could happen again, we have scouts out there watching players all of the time, all it takes is that one to click and we're laughing. I don't see us going for a well known or crazy expensive signing because it's usually just not how we do business.

The summer will be very interesting but until then, I look forward to watching him lift more trophys with us.

I have said it before, and I will say it again.
Get Ivan Toney. 32 goals and 9 assists in a Brentford team
Salah is off to the Afcon, and if anyone can remember the last time he returned, he was in really bad form.
If we get Toney we will at least have another proven Premier League goal scorer to unleash, also stop Arsenal, Spurs or Chelsea buying him.
We all know that Mo is off to Saudi in the summer, so why not get a replacement in now to help us win 4 trophies this season?

Absolutely Oli. The only so called world class player we have bought during Klopp’s reign is Thiago.

You could argue Alisson I guess although he hadn’t achieved much at that point. Keita was the best player in Germany and was thought of as world class by some.

We were mocked when we paid £75m for Van Dijk as nobody saw the player he would become but they try to change history by saying we signed a world class centre half. Nobody thought that at the time and most said we’d massively overpaid for an average Southampton player.

We didn’t replace coutinho directly like for like so maybe the money from salah will be spent on other areas of the team . Who knows

I think we can all agree we have a quality squad of football players

And genuinely 4/ 5 world class in the 1st 11 with another 3/ 4 that could step up to be worldies aswell

In all the time salah has been at Liverpool we have never really had a back up player for the right wing to rest salah . The man’s a machine but szoboslai and Elliot could easily play in his position while he’s at AFCON and it might be an audition for them while he’s away maybe for next season or beyond .

Either way picking another salah up won’t be easy and near impossible but 1 thing with Liverpool is we give people a chance.

Really like Bowen but with his age and pricetag i could see us being more interested in Olise or Diaby. Or like someone said maybe Szobozlai can play there with someone coming into the midfield.
