Can I just say, the football today was great fun. Fair play to fulham and spurs for going after it, makes it much more exciting. Can I also add just how pathetic the match of the day review of the game was. The show I’ve watched for 30-odd years is close to unwatchable nowadays. I think they need to revisit the technology and the pundit, it’s really bad. Anyway, good 3 point today, some cracking goals, I’m probably 10 years old but worth it in the end.

Are there others out there like me - who watch match of the day even after these defeats? I know what they are going to say and get even more p. ed off about it. Why do I do it to myself?

I record it and fast forward through the analysis. I must admit that I did listen to ours last night though. I knew what they were going to say- lack of effort, unacceptable etc etc- and they didn't disappoint.

The issues with the slow start have needed sorting out for god knows how long which is Klopps fault unless Linders now picks the team. Klopp must be able to analyse who is on it from the start and who isn't and sort it out - for me Matip, Fabinho and Thiago are the main culprits with VVD getting pulled into it if those players are in the team. So play Phillips, Henderson and yes Milner from the start and introduce Thiago in second half given he can only last 60 minutes anyway. We looked more compact with Milner at right back recently over Trent also so start without Trent and introduce him later. This is stuff Klopp is not addressing and crossing his fingers it will go away. Try it at least until we have sorted out these early / compact team issues.

No way. I watched it yesterday, first half about 10 minutes 2-0 down. Turned it on again 2nd half for less than 10 minutes in the hope of a comeback, 3rd goal, never watched another second. Painful what I did see, certainly wasn’t going to watch a replay??. I mean why would you? Tough to watch ?.

I can take losing against any team. the thing I can't take is lack of effort and desire. These players aren't showing any what so ever. Absolute disgraceful performances 1 after the other.
If they perform like this for 1 of the best managers in the world for everything this man and club has done for them, then they are done here. Nunez gakpo baj elliot konate and Allison aside.
The rest of them are throwing the manager under the bus. And that pep ljinders is just waiting in the wings to take klopps job. Let's see how that goes.

Ljinders and Kornmayer train the team and their methods are obviously not working. Kornmayer trains them too hard, has been warned, ignored everyone, hence the departures within the medical team, crucially the team doctor. Big loss.
Ljinders has far too much influence.
Klopp needs to reign them both in and fast but I don’t see any evidence that indicates he will. Neither of them are going to walk like Buvac did.
Really feel pessimistic today. Everyone keeps saying we are only 11 points of CL places. We are also only 11 points from relegation and our form is more in line with bottom three at the moment. Scary derby game coming up against a rejuvenated Everton.

A couple of weeks ago I disagreed with the lack of effort. it seemed it was still there. But wow. The effort was not there at all yesterday. Thiago was disgraceful, jogging back like that. He'd be benched for that alone. Big shake up needed now lads. Coaches need to go end of, that's your job jurgen. Hendo or milner must of given these lot a rollicking before yesterday. obviously don't care because nothing has changed. Embarrassing and fans should make it known. All for getting behind the team but after any recent performances.

Didn’t watch the game so I had to watch MOTD today cos I didn’t even know the score and even tho I fast forwarded it and just watched the goals, something struck me.
Seriously if the manager was not Klopp, I would have said just get rid of the manager cos clearly the players are NO longer playing for him and have downed tools. The lack of effort has been a thing for a while BUT yesterday was a whole new low that I am starting to wonder what tha football does this team working in preparation for a game at the weekend? Seriously, can someone tell me? They look like ghosts who have just seen each other fir the first time, we are so disjointed and the passing and ball movement is shockingly awful.
Also, I don’t know what they work on cos all I see is the same ship on a diff weekend and the same post game comments from Klopp. Now before “they” come for me, I’m by NO means saying Klopp should be gone BUT surely, questions need to be asked as to what in da hell are we doing preparing for games.

Cant help but thinking the injuries have created a scenario where the first eleven don't really have to fight for their places as there's no-one else fit enough to take their place. let's face it, despite playing abysmally, the likes of Matip, Salah, Gakpo, Keita, Thiago, Gomez, will be on the pitch for the derby kickoff.

Irish rover - I think I’m a sadist, I need to start visiting other sites …. JK - they’re not wrong sadly. Pelican I still watch it every weekend during the season, have done for I think 30 years now . It’s about as bleak as the hodgson months at the moment. I’m hoping we pull it all out of the bag against real and we take off again, but I have my doubts.

I think Elliot is awesome but I do fear he still doesn’t really have a position, I know that a weird think to say after 100 games but I’m still not sure he is a right mid Or right of a front 3 like salah. I might be mis-remembering but my view of him in those 3 or 4 games back in 2021 before the ankle dislocation were his best, I just thought the chemistry with Trent and salah was amazing and I think he lost something then. Don’t get me wrong I think he’s great can play and play for another 10 years or more but I wonder is there another line up where we get more from him. What do other think?

Who does Trent go in for if everyone is fit? Szlob? I’m not sure he does. Don’t get me wrong I think Trent is a massive talent and surely must play. I just do t see where. I agree Bradley plays right back. I think he endo plays DM. So Trent can really only play where szlob plays? Unless we change formations? Great problem to have (assuming szlob and Trent are fit obviously)
