The Europa league is what it is. Probably get to make a few changes early on and keep lads fresh for the league, play a few teams we haven’t in a long time or for the first time and we’ll be clear favourites to win it, only thing we’ve played in under Klopp and not won. One season isn’t the end of the world but we need to be competing for the title next season can't have another year of excuses.

A hit financially should be somewhat offput but not spending on the team to make sure we qualify in the first place. I hope this is a lesson we will learn from, there was a massive feeling of arrogance going into the season. don't let it happen again.

City seem like they’re very far ahead of us at the moment. That’s not saying we can’t close that gap next season but there’s no guarantee that we’ll be challenging for the title.

WDW - Because unless Sevilla are in the competition (I’m convinced even the AC Milan team of 1988 would lose to them in the Europa League), we will have by far the best squad and, as long as he starts managing like he should, by far the best manager. We should definitely start as favourites.

To also that say we will have the best squad in the comp. is just pretentious ad unnecessary bullish talk if none of us know what the squad will look like come August. The best squad doesn’t always win. Just ask City. Again, relax and wait and see.

Lowe the bookies currently have us as favourites for next seasons Europa League but what do they know.

Christ even Oli has us as favourites in 2 other posts this morning ??‍♂️?.

It’s mental how they are giving those odds though because there’s still that tiny chance Newcastle or Utd royally F up and we end up in CL. But I suppose if we do miraculously end up in CL then If anyone has bet on us then it’s free money for the bookies.

Id make us favourites on the fact we’ll have the best crop of players and the best manager in it and comfortably. The last 2 finals were United/ Villarreal and Frankfurt/ Rangers we haven’t played Frankfurt but we’ve stuck 28 past the others since their finals.
