Hi Eds, Mail reported that Smith Rowe from Arsenal is possibly on the move,
Do we have an interest at all?
Also if possible your opinion on the player, his stock was high, so I’m surprised if this is true he may be on the move.

Hi Ed’s, I’m curious to know if LFC have looked at Arnau Martinez of Girona (Spain), at 19 a Defender that can play left or right back, uses 2 feet and can cover as a DM too,
I saw the kid surrounded by 3 Barcelona players whilst on the floor and still got his head to the ball to avert the imminent danger. Also curious to know your thoughts on the kid Ed’s looked good player to me (I lack knowledge) .

I have seen Oshimen of Napoli linked to us, although I see this as unlikely. I thought I’d ask you guys on your thoughts on this.

Depends on the tactics for Salah’s eventual replacement. Personally I’d play an old fashioned 442.

OP, I have seen the same things with Osihmen being linked wit. Utd and Chelsea. Even John Obi Mikel is speculating that he will go to Utd. There's nothing in it.
Personally, I agree he is not a player we need right now and would not be worth.

If possible can you give an indication of the plan regarding the following 2 players, and your view on both players too,
1/ T Morton, any chance he will get some minutes for the first team, your opinion on him too please,
2/ Mabaya, what’s your opinion on him and do you have an idea where re position he appears to be best suited atm (taking on board that won’t be defined as yet possibly), do you see him given opportunity in the first team set up?

{Ed001's Note - 1. I expect him to go out on loan or be sold to be honest. He is a decent enough player but, like almost all academy products of the new English system, he struggles with reading the game defensively. He has excellent mobility and tries hard, good technically too but not quite top level. We have so many of a similar ilk that it is unlikely he will make it with us. He would make decent, cheap cover that can step in if we had injuries, but we really need a more specialist defensive midfielder.

Hi Guy’s, I think that the club are searching for a brand, a brand of football. Example- Barcelona have what’s described as Ticky tacka style, maybe changed a little this season under Xavi due to rebuild.
Madrid have their brand of style too, nothing too adventurous in the first half unless they get their noses in front.
LFC heavy metal football is evident this season not the future, or possibly get out of the mire (Arsenal) emergency go to, it’s looking as if we are trying to emulate Madrid style. Imo.
I like the fact we are/ do have a brand of football, you cannot go from defensive style football then change manager to more attacking brand without a window or two to bring in correct type of player, or even coach your current players into the style, if you look at Leeds they have recently had both styles.

the league but they would challenge for CL spot.
Utd and Spurs were always likely to challenge top 4.
Newcastle with what they spent are probably punching a little above their weight early.

Ed’s will be able to confirm, I’ve read/ heard Arsenal are looking at Andre too,
Tbh, I like the look of him (Andre), he can use 2 feet, he looks nippy across the park, I’ve seen him slot in at left back cos Flume did an injury rejig, I’ve seen him spray passes 40+ m with both feet, he also plays short to keep the team moving.
On attacking corners he generally last man, must be the quickest in Flume mind you some of them pushing 40. Andre from what little I’ve seen also communicates well with players around him too.

WDW Nunez is not the finished article yet, but he has made big gains thus far, his left foot finish against Toulouse top of the net was sublime, he’s got 2 feet he can finish with, he’s more composed now.
Also did u see him chase back after his error to regain the ball, although he nearly gave up (lack of call), he retained possession for the team, that was really encouraging imo.
Maybe he needs confidence shown in him as opposed negative vibes.

{Ed001's Note - Cambiasso was never really a DM in the same vein. Not really a comparison to be honest. Cambiasso was much more of a forward thinker and would get forward much more. He was more of a box-to-box midfielder.}

Can someone please explain to me how Rodri got 3 match ban, after all didn’t he have his hands on a player’s throat? Isn’t that deemed violent conduct? I believe he only served 3 match ban, apologies if I’m incorrect, I didn’t see the incident but generally that what was reported.
