The way I see it going is a loan to buy for Dembele, giving him a year to settle and and then replace Salah who will move on for a crazy fee.

I’m not sure I see the point in a loan with a guaranteed buy at the end of it, if your going to buy someone why not just buy them at the start?

I'd guess the benefits are to cash flow and FFP, Mikey. Harder to find the money for Fekir and Dembele in the same summer. Even harder to do so and not breach FFP rules.

I agree I think it will be a permanent deal. If we can secure Fekir, Dembele and Ceballos before the World Cup I’ll be very happy.

Spreading costs to comply with FFP is the only reason I can think of, Mikey.

Unless a firm commitment to buy pulls the fee forward? I’m sure Ed002 will know.

I think most of us said it was a joke when PSG loaned a £100+m player so to be honest I hope we don’t do that.

Salah will want to stay for the rest of his career when we win the Champions League and then the Premier League next season.

Nothing wrong anyway with having 4 quality attacking players and a developing Solanke (assuming we sell Ings and Sturridge) anyway.

Is it me or are people forgetting what Ed02 said about Dembele and Barcelona wanting a loan with a COMMITMENT to buy cos they want most of their money back, all 90m plus of it? That is as bogus a deal as you will ever find and I'm not sure the club or Klopp will be stupid enough to sign off on such a rip off. Dembele is a wonderful player BUT sorry, he ain't worth that deal cos we are NOT that desperate. I'll believe it when I see it.

Don’t be writing off Ings just yet. He’s doing just fine right now considering how awful his injuries have been. Let’s see what he can do first.
