Pearce reckons we are only signing 1 maximum of 2 more midfielders. Ed002 says unlikely to sign CB, looking to promote from within.

It is going to be a tough season ahead.

But don’t worry we are going to sign Bellingham next summer.

Where has Ed002 said we're not going to sign a CB? He mentioned promoting from within in the context of someone asking him does he see the club replacing two CBs.

Other than that, he's said that the club will look for 2 CMs and a CB.

Unless I missed a comment somewhere.

Etienne and also Eddie further down, you need to read the posts lads. It's tedious. All the answers you want are currently spread across the very first page in rumours and discussions.

Ed002 expects Kephren Thuram and a CB to be signed. He also name checked 4 CB's we could possibly make a move for when asked. Perr Schuurs, Jurrien Timber, Antonio Silva and Max Kilman were the 4 but Eds reply read as though there was nothing advanced on any of the CB's this far.

Mac Allister is done. Thuram seems to be the next priority. Then I'd imagine you'll see us start to push for a CB. Calm yourselves. The window has been open a few days and Pearce is a chancer at best.

The Ed's provide us with the info we need BUT if people want to keep talking about some washed up James Pearce way less reliable than the weatherman and does not seem to know anywhere near the things we know about LFC and transfers on this forum (thanks to the Ed's) then, what can we do?

Oli, I don't even care if people believe James Pearce. That's their prerogative. But constantly asking Ed002 the same questions or intentionally misquoting him to be dramatic/ have a pop at FSG, is tedious. Literally on rumours page 1 Etienne could've found a reply from Ed002 listing those 4 centre backs as options still on our radar. If it had been a few days back then fair enough, as not everyone is on here daily. But it is literally there now in black and white (or red technically I suppose)!

Pearce and Neil Jones just make educated guesses and say stuff that they think sounds feasible. Neil Jones is much more likeable than Pearce, but it's also much more obvious that he's a complete blagger.

@MKS, that's fair. People are free to believe whoever they want and all that BUT what does my head in is that we all know how reliable Paul Joyce is and we all know he is the mouthpiece of the club, why in da football is anyone quoting any other journo esp. one who is as washed as James Pearce or like Thomas194 said Niel Jones, who have not broken a grape fruit let alone any type of reliiable news on LFC transfers for months or years?
