Ed001, any idea why Ovie is back? Was it Rangers decision due to a disappointing return? Or Liverpool's decision to g9ve us more depth during the winter period?

I have to be honest I've not followed Rangers progress at all so I've no idea if he's even been playing regularly.

{Ed001's Note - because he is a lightweight who never settled in Scotland and was afraid of the physicality.}

Worrying Ed001. Sounds like he needs the Spanish Seconda division.

{Ed001's Note - it was a big mistake to sign him.}

It’s worrying he didn’t seem up for the fight, can Imagine it’s physical up there but it’s can be in games in the premier league.

What do you think is next for him Ed001? A move abroad?

{Ed001's Note - personally I think we just need to get rid. He is on far too much money for so little willingness or desire to make it.}

Hi ed001, with Ejaria coming back and that Nigerian forward (Sadiq? I think) also sent back to Roma, do you think Rangers/ Gerrard will come in for Solanke? If so, do you think it will turn out to be a successful move?

Also, what's your opinion on how Gerrard has done so far as a manager at Rangers?

Cheers, hope you're having a good day.

{Ed001's Note - it is a possibility, not sure if it would be successful but I do think he needs to be on loan somewhere he will play. I am just not convinced he has anything much to offer, but Scotland is a good place for him to develop.

Tough one to judge Gerrard, good start but he seems to chop and change the team far too much and performances and results have dipped massively.}

This kind of annoys me when I read this. These kids are give the chance that some could only dream of. And then don’t want to battle when life get a bit tuff.

{Ed001's Note - he spent most of his time in Scotland turning up late to training and then coasting through it and games. McAllister and him never saw eye to eye because of it.}

Christ. Mentality of some kids. Need to learn life isn't a walk in the park and you need to fight for things in life.

Not defending the kid, but a tough physical sport as a means of livelihood is not for everyone, I guess. But it's not like he doesn't know or never knew what it was all about when he got into it. Life is all about taking the chances you are offered. Some you succeed with, and a lot you don't .

If he can't cut it against Physically tough teams like Dundee Livingston and Hamilton he's not going to hack it against the likes of Burnley or Cardiff I'm afraid. Looks to me like he's blown it . Playing in front of a full house Ibrox every fortnight was a huge opportunity for the lad to prove he had the minerals.

Tbh aray he’s probably already made a lot of money and may feel he’s made it. Talent gets you so far, attitude gets you the rest, Ronaldo and balotelli being opposite ends of the spectrum. Ronaldo was good but made himself the best, balotellitubby had so much potential but played with fireworks instead.
