Morning ed025 it's going to be very close at the bottom I think Southampton and Leicester are gone so the last place is a fight between your lot Leeds and forest. Your lack of goals is alarming who ever made the decision to sign Maupay was awful because I thought he was Brighton's week point missing chance after chance and he was never going to get anywhere near them chances at Everton.
You all so have a pretty tough run in I do think you will survive by the skin of your teeth but it's going to be very close.

{Ed025's Note - I think we may be be gone grino. Still the tiniest hope I suppose but yesterday was very worrying mate as the passion showed since Dyche came in was even lacking mate. Never say never I suppose but it’s not looking good..

I think you just scrape it ed25, just,

{Ed025's Note - i hope your right john but we are where we are because we are one of the worst 3 teams in the league mate, winning your home games at this stage is a must and especially against sides like fulham, it does not bode well..

Ed0025 I don’t want to see Everton go down mate but at the moment it looks like they don’t have the fight for it. Some of the other teams Bournemouth especially seem to be fighting tooth and nail to stay in the division.

I think Everton’s best bet is Leeds and Forrest going down instead of them.

{Ed025's Note - the think is JK that at the moment we deserve to go down. When you are in our position the one thing you need is fight and yesterday I never seen a lot of that mate. Even if we do survive will it be any different next season? ..I very much doubt it ..

Still think Leicester'll stay up, only because they've the better players. They want to get their act together quick though.

Morning ed25.dont think dyche was right appointment for use, I know your a fan but I'm not so sure. in saying that your position in table is not down to him. Was reading on everton pages a while ago about this financial problem use have and there was some v gloomy predictions about club going to wall from your lads if use go down. Do u know what situation would be if use did go down? Surly everton too big a club for likes of that to happen.

{Ed025's Note - we have got ourselves in a right financial pickle digger. Even if we stay up we could start the next season with a huge points deduction mate. The mismanagement of our club is on a different level and if relegation means all these rats desert this sinking ship then I’m all for it..

5.) 16 Apr 2023
16 Apr 2023 12:05:07
How many times have we been looking at Everton at this stage of the season and they look certain to go down, but never do.
I think they will stay up again.

{Ed025's Note - but we always had battlers mikey in the past, most of this shower cant pull you out of bed mate and that does not bode well for a team in a relegation scrap..

6.) 16 Apr 2023
16 Apr 2023 12:06:01
Who do u blame for it ed25? kenright?

{Ed025's Note - not just him digger but hes a part of it, we all begged for billionaire owners to come on board for years...then they came and it all went tits up, we bought badly and have ended up with poor players on massive wages who we cant get rid of, add to that the FFP issues and its a real shit show mate, maybe relegation is the only way to turn it around i dont know..

7.) 16 Apr 2023
16 Apr 2023 11:59:58
You have got to play the other teams down there eds25 so there a couple of 6 pointers there but it works both ways. You lose one of them and your f***ed. we mite do you a favour on Monday but who know with us this season!

{Ed025's Note - but we cant depend on other teams longthing we have to try and get ourselves out of this mess mate, if we go down we only have ourselves to blame and at this stage i have to say we look doomed..

8.) 16 Apr 2023
16 Apr 2023 12:33:55
I think Leicester and Leeds’ managerial appointments might just save you. Southampton are gone, Leicester and Leeds have both brought absolutely horrendous managers in and that will be enough to take them both down as well. I think.

{Ed025's Note - we would have to show a hell of a lot more than we did yesterday though thomas, and i dont think we have the mentality to do that mate unless things change rapidly..

9.) 16 Apr 2023
16 Apr 2023 12:37:54
Ed025 I think Leicester are gone they are still reliant on Vardy and he has well gone and there seems to me like they have some very good players but it’s like they are just thinking about a move away.
Yesterday I thought Dyche got it wrong with team selection. I think you have a few players out yesterday what you cannot afford. Don’t think the fans where great yesterday as well a bit like earlier on in the season and I think they have a right to be p. ed off ed but I think they should forget about everything that’s gone wrong and you stick with the team because I think if Everton do stay up they are going to need them every home game.
Good luck anyway Ed.

{Ed025's Note - the supporters have had a lot to put up with grino, they pay a lot of money and time to watch this guff week in week out mate, if the players are not up to scratch thats one thing, but if they dont look interested then thats another, reds supporters go into meltdown if they cant see the team reaching top 4 mate, imagine if you were in our position?..

10.) 16 Apr 2023
16 Apr 2023 12:39:44
I think Dyche was the right man but maybe on the 1st Jan and not 30th Jan. could have done with a transfer window.

One of the worst Four teams in the League 25 mate. A small crumb of comfort but at least in that position you stay up ?.

{Ed025's Note - should have come before the world cup started irish but like as always the people at the top let us down, its just another bad decision made by these owners and board that is running this once great club into the ground mate..

11.) 16 Apr 2023
16 Apr 2023 12:48:26
I really thought Dyche would bring that mate, maybe I’m wrong but if he can’t manage that, I’m not really sure what else he offers. I know you’ve probably been through too many managers but if you do manage to survive you might have to start looking for a new one again. Especially if you want to start looking up the table.

{Ed025's Note - it has to be small steps thomas, we cant run before we can walk mate and our future and his will depend on the next 7 games, the guy is in an impossible situation and only by the grace of god will keep us up..

12.) 16 Apr 2023
16 Apr 2023 12:49:56
Ed25
I think yous need that major refresh mate from top to bottom I’m not bothered either way if you’d stay up or go down . just being honest but as a football fan I can see your whole club needs to be re structured find an identity with a strategic plan and go with that for 5 years And unfortunately that requires getting most them donkeys off your books and the best way for that is relegation .
I still think you guys will just stay up but as a club I think yous would be better off in the long run going down getting rid of the deadwood and find a style and strategy in the transfer market and give the right people time to turn it round .

{Ed025's Note - i cant really argue with that Dhfc, its just that the thought is a bit daunting what with the new stadium being so close and with the history of the club, i will just go with the flow mate and if it happens it happens, football is not the only thing in life...and i never thought i would hear myself saying that..

13.) 16 Apr 2023
16 Apr 2023 13:50:01
I think the game is moving like that in general to be honest, I whinge a lot but I feel largely apathetic when we’re poor now. Football has become so corporate and sanitised now that the high points don’t feel as exciting and the low points don’t hit as hard. Nothing we’ve done since 2005 has ever felt as good as that. As for this season, I’ve just found myself laughing at some of our performances at times. It is what it is.

14.) 16 Apr 2023
16 Apr 2023 13:55:44
Don't worry Ed25 old pal. the way things are going, Chelsea are going to be the team relegated instead of Everton.

{Ed025's Note - frank working his magic again JLCBM.. :)

15.) 16 Apr 2023
16 Apr 2023 14:11:47
Yeah Ed your right more important things than football
But I’ve got many blue mates and the pain I see in yous season on season I think going down would be like a weight off the shoulders for the fan base .
Few of them looking forward to 3pm kick offs every Saturday they said.

{Ed025's Note - we have had enough now Dhfc and to be honest i have got to the stage where its not life or death mate, of course i still have dreams that we might get safe and build into a top flight side again...but i have always been a dreamer.. :)

16.) 16 Apr 2023
16 Apr 2023 15:00:29
Isn't it just amazing in football how someone like Frank can time and again get a premier league managerial job, especially since he hasn't proven himself anywhere as yet?

Football is truly run by some stupid people.

17.) 17 Apr 2023
17 Apr 2023 09:57:05
Hey Ed25, it looks like you will have to take it to the limit, one more time.

{Ed025's Note - that’s if we get that far woh. It could be over well before that mate..

18.) 17 Apr 2023
17 Apr 2023 11:00:07
Big job at Everton Ed 25, no doubt about it

I hope yous stay up, my bro in law is a blue and awk it wouldn't be the same league without yous

The money coming in ruined the club imo. Everton used to be a team of real battlers, every player wore the shirt with pride and gave it his all - where is that type of passion now?

Too many overrated, overpaid guys with not one bit of backbone amongst them. Some of the signings made have just been ridiculous - how Dyche wasn't brought in before the World Cup is a definite head scratcher

You sold Richarlison, who I detest, but scored goals for you. Calvin Lewin injured again, yet nobody at yhe club thought yous might need a striker?

Swear I know it must be frustrating Ed25, but just a few players with the heart and desire of a Baines or Coleman and yous would look a lot better.

{Ed025's Note - i feel exactly the same bill, these prima-donnas have no passion or pride wearing the shirt mate, it all starts at the top for me mate because our owner and board have made some terrible mistakes which had ended up with this toxic mess we have become, the worst thing is that even if by some fluke we stay up i cant see the situation changing anytime soon, its a real mess..

19.) 17 Apr 2023
17 Apr 2023 16:43:30
Awk I dunno Ed, I think if yous stay up ok Dyche will be like the Grim Reaper in the summer with the squad

I agree, it's definitely a top-down process of mistakes made, shows that flashing money doesn't buy success - as much as our pages our full of posts wanting new signings, its getting the 'right' signings that's far more important - a team full of Allison's or a team full of Keita's eh?

Few clubs in danger - Forest, Leeds, Leicester, Wolves might just be safe but hey a bad defeat and they're right bang in trouble

Honestly hope yous stay up, but either way you need to keep hold of Dyche - I genuinely think he will be good for yous and he definitely isn't known for having or keeping prima donna types about him!

Best of luck Ed.

{Ed025's Note - cheers bill. Dyche for me all the way mate even if we go down..

Maybe Everton and Tranmere could merge sell Tranmere Rovers stadium to a bacon distributor jobs a goodun ET Rovers top of the league.
