Hey Ed's, I know we had interest in Asensio a while back but just seen him linked with a move to villa on a free, has klopps interest gone now?
{Ed002's Note - Marco Asensio (RW/LW/AM) Having a decent season but out of contract in the summer and not keen on Real Madrid's offer of a new contract at a reduced salary. Looking at options and at 27 there will not be a shortage of them. PSG offer a very viable solution but game time would be an issue. A move to Barcelona is possible, but probably only as cover. Liverpool may still have an interest and with Firmino departing it is no longer difficult to see where he would fit in. Arsenal have a preferred target but have spoken with his agent. Aston Villa have a declared interest and the money is going to be available. Will be offered to Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Juventus but it is unlikely any will be interested.}

Personally I would love to see him come in. Think he has the potential to be the next Bobby if he can stay fit.
Worst case, he can replace Naby on the medics couch, I wouldn’t want them to get bored now he has gone ?
On another note. On holiday and My daughter met Andy Robertson today and had photos with him. What a genuinely nice and very friendly bloke. Top class guy.

I get the lack of investment, the lack of midfield options and maybe the mental fatigue, but that does not excuse passion or effort. The defending yesterday was inexcusable and you can't blame midfield for balls over the top and no desire to commit to making a challenge or putting your body on the line. Yesterday looked like a team in dire form who have just downed tools! Absolutely embarrassing. Some of them need dropping, calling out and give some of the young boys a run out instead.
I'm normally a lot more positive and can take losses on the chin as that's part of football but what I can't stay positive about is when players look like they don't care and are not playing for the badge.
Then you have posters on here because people are criticising the players, when effort like I seen yesterday was put in the deserve criticism and il add the support into that, because our fans atmosphere seems like a joke at the minute as well.

hello Drscouse, I can fully understand your points of view, EFC will be coming a week monday night for not only sweat on the shirts demanded by Dyche yesterday and what he got, but also for LFC blood on the shirts, that will be no environment for young players other games perhaps? As a week on Monday will be not for the fainthearted it will be a "bloody, bloody battle" probably even worse than that!

Mr Bond even if we win vs Everton, it’s what happens afterwards that matters cos it’s easy to get up for an intense derby. Will we revert back to the ship show lack of effort we have been seeing if late or will it b the final jumpstart required to get things back on track? But before that if we play anywhere near what we hav vs Everton then, we will get battered.

What I saw yesterday that was different from the way we defended and especially Trent was that we defended the flanks more and so forced city to come inside more where there was more protection, I know there was a few times they got by on the outside but that was more on the break than anything. All in all I thought we coped well!
