If Hendo does go. Who would you like to see ed001 as captain and vice captain. For me it would not be Virgil or Salah.
I would be going with Robbo (Scottish captain) and Trent as vice captain.

Trent is a future capt. and is already a leader in the DR right now, IMO. But for now, I would go with Ali. He is the true symbol of the term Quiet Strength. VC for me? Robbo.

JK23 Klopp would choose captain and vice and players vote from 3rd captain onwards. He could choose to retain this approach or just move the players in the current leadership group up by 2 places each.

Love to see Trent given the armband. I think it’ll raise his game to another level. Hopefully he gets the Henderson role in midfield too. I honestly think he would be sensational in those roles. Only my opinion though

Robbo for me, there is nothing more fearsome than a angry scot when things are not going well.

He is a born leader and would make a great captain, whilst we on the subject Mo Salah does not need the burden of being captain, let him carry on banging in his usual 30 goals a season without the extra responsibility of being club captain.

My choice for VC would be Becker, he oozes respect and takes charge when things are not going well: ie THAT header vs west brom.

Robbo would be an excellent captain, Salah could certainly handle the responsibility. But for me VVD lacked any leadership qualities last season, the armband could be the kick up the backside he needs though.

I suppose it depends if the manager wants to go back to winning football games or keep trying to copy Pep. If the good old days are coming back any new captain should be in for a successful time with these new signing.

My vote goes for Alisson. Consistently leads by example. I suspect Klopp will choose VVD, since it's his choice which is final.
