Do you think we could be better if Mo could pass a football? He could have been a great player but he let's himself down by being pitiful in helping his teammates. Trent was shockingly bad and if he has another season like this needs replacing. We went out with a whimper and the players should be forced to live in a hostel for 2 weeks with no access to any money. I am madder than Jurgen at these players that was a total disrespect to the Liverpool shirt. They obviously deserve nothing less for their performances this season. Every player except Alisson and Baj should be totally ashamed of themselves.

Trent is like a lost boy when it comes to defending - absolutely shocking! Absolutely no idea where the attacker is. Boy can he pass / create, so get him RM or a mid 3. His body language stinks, seems to be swaggering round the pitch likes he’s got sone god given right. Not interested at all / clueless when he has a game in his hands.

Yeah I don't agree that we were poor. I thought we looked pretty good all around except for Fabinho in the first half, and Mo all game who seems to me to trying to make sure we don't score the last two games.

Seriously though, I don't get the ridicule aimed at TAA. I thought he defended well against one of the most difficult attackers to defend in the world, and he still got forward a bunch and produced a lot offensively.

I was still hopeful until Klopp made changes at 60 and it included his newly found tradition of taking Nunes off. That was end of the game for me. No clue what he knows that I don't to be making that sub. Is it possible Nunes isn't fit enough for the full 90 yet?

I thought Trent’s delivery was consistently good last night. Vinicius wasn’t the threat he was in te 1st leg.

Jota was woeful and a bad decision by Klopp, Firmino would have been my choice in that position: and what is the trend for hooking Darwin on 60 minutes?

Shame we couldn’t convert one of the chances we had first half and make the game interesting but I wasn’t expecting us to turnaround a 3 goal deficit against an Ancelotti side.

A big summer ahead. Who will stay, who will go?

Clubs best ever player, what a load of rubbish. Salah rarely does it when the chips are down. He only plays well when the team does, great players drag losses to draws and draws to wins. Non of which salah does. One thing he is good at though is smiling on the pitch, got to hand it to him, nearly as good as Klopp at smiling while it’s all going wrong.

Bean and sr8talker. we all know we haven't been great but Mo has been consistently brilliant for us for years and is world class. The whole team are going through a bad spell but your slagging of the team and individuals is pathetic. If you did it constructively then fair enough but you do it in the same way a 10 year old would do it. If you were both 10 then it could be esqused but although you act like it I highly doubt you are. You only come out when we lose, which sadly is quite often these days. Please crawl back under your respective rocks and stay there.

Difficult to be over critical when you’re away from home up against a team with the best CL pedigree.

We actually had a few chances but so did Madrid. I also got the feeling they were playing in third gear, like a cat with a dead mouse.

We are out but it doesn’t come as a surprise to me. What I will say is that I hate when we talk about a players attitude etc because we’ve no idea what type of attitude they have. I would be pretty sure Trent is as p. ed as the next player, I wouldn’t take too much from his facial expressions, his head is probably in a spin as to WTF is going on.

Nice touch by Madrid at the end playing YNWA, classy.

Sadly, I agree with that statement Mr Bean. The entire team is off form now and that can only point to how badly we have been managed this season. I love Klopp and hope he stays but he made a major mistake by changing the way we have been playing the past few seasons.

But I don't agree with your previous statement about Salah and how he only plays well when we are. He has bailed us out countless times in the past with his goals and moments of brilliance. Granted, he has not done so this season but there's no need to rewrite the past to prove a point.

I thought we didn't do too bad last night, it was the first leg that we lost it, Not many teams would score 3 at least without reply at Madrid, What was interesting was we have gone out to a Madrid team i think 6 out of the last 7 seasons. The trouble with a complete overhaul is that you can't build a team over night. we need a couple of First 11 players at least and then you either use Kids as back up or you have to buy back up players which isn't the easiest thing to do. so i don't thing Fab will be sold and it will only be one of Gomez or Matip and either Dias or Jota. I wouldn't be surprised if Milly is given another 1 year contract as when he has played at RB he has looked decent. so let's get behind them for the rest of the season. YNWA#.

TAA and Konate were woeful on their goal. TAA was heading towards the touchline when they had possession in a dangerous area in the middle of the pitch. And Benzema would have been offside had they been switched on.

Nah, I don't think they are that good either. I watch them in La Liga. A team with the quality and depth they have should not be 7 points behind a pee poor Barcelona team in La Liga. Sorry, that's not on.

They are severely underachieving in La Liga right now and they seem to not be bothered by it cos if they don't win the league, they can fully focus on the CL which is what they seem to prefer. That said, that doesn't mean they are and haven't been better than us cos they have been and are. They have a hoo-doo over us for sure cos we simply can NOT beat them NO MATTER what. Multiple things can be correct at the same time.
