How is Keita still getting a game with us with all the options we have?

I was going to post the same thing, he must have photos of Klopp as he surely doesn’t rate him, does he?

If Naby plays between 30-40 games for us this year and we have a successful season is he still going to get ZERO credit on here? don't get me wrong i know he's not everyones cup of tea and rightfully so on some occasions but c'mon, he's wearing the shirt. The funny thing is a lot of the people who CONSTANTLY slate him won't hear a bad word said about Minamino or Origi and thought Nat Phillips was the second coming of Bobby Moore.

Not entirely sure what up with the Naby hate crew either tbh.
Fot the record, he has been a really bad buy.
However, thought ( for example) TAA was far from delivering today.
Why are everyone just on Keita?
Genuinely trying to understand.

Wait until the game is over at least before starting to complain! Crazy. Just look at the bloody conditions. Stop criticising for one second . please. This constant nonsense must stop.

{Ed0666's Note - that was about the points today and your 100% correct those were nearly unplayable conditions for attractive football.

A win is all that matters. What do you want? Fecking jam on it?

We won, the bloke paid his part! that should be the end of it.

13 Feb 2022 16:14:23
Keita had a decent game. Unlike a certain captain who seems to be picked coz he has the armband than on merit.

8.) 13 Feb 2022
13 Feb 2022 16:14:57
We paid for him, he’s one of our players, he’s fit, until Pogba took him out he was doing well, why not pick him? before the season started I wanted us to sell, but as we didn’t he deserves the chance to establish himself. Besides, we won today. Away at Burnley which is always a huge bonus.

9.) 13 Feb 2022
13 Feb 2022 16:22:18
Wins a win. But we need to be much better against Inter Milan.

13 Feb 2022 16:26:54
Baby did ok today. It was Trent who was having the nightmare. No probs, the others saw us through. A hard place to play especially in vile conditions.

13 Feb 2022 16:32:58
If Klopp picks him I'll support him at the end of the day we are all in this together.

Keita bashing by certain posters yet again. 1-0 away in difficult conditions against a team fighting for survival. A 1-0 win when not at your best is the sign of a good team.
There were several players who did not play well and Keita was not the worst Liverpool player today, but certain posters are sheep and just copy the previous comments of Ed01, who has been critical of Keita. Did they even watch the game today or just decide Keita was crap because he was on the teamsheet.

15.) 13 Feb 2022
13 Feb 2022 17:15:16
I'd be more concerned with Henderson than keita to be honest. When was the last time he played even remotely well.

16.) 13 Feb 2022
13 Feb 2022 17:28:06
For me the main positive far outweighs the negatives today which is we won not playing well against a surprisingly decent Burnley side in extremely tough conditions.

There were a few players who looked off the boil today and Burnley actually played some decent football whilst we passed a few into touch. I thought Naby did ok in there and although he’s not lived up to expectations every game is a clean slate.

Will be interesting to see Klopps line up for Wed night as I expect him to go as strong as possible to possibly kill the tie off in one leg and then utilise the squad again for Norwich.

I think as it stands we are 7 games away from potentially winning the CL and 10 Points off winning the league and needing City to drop points.

I think we are still competing for both but the CL is in our hands where the league isn’t.

We drew there last season and the weather was terrible so it was a good win. If we are going to pick out players that are not up to it then bobby would be the first name that springs to mind today!

18.) 13 Feb 2022
13 Feb 2022 18:33:19
Hendo and Trent both gave the ball away on countless occasions yet you bash Naby who did ok in hurricane like conditions?! Try supporting the lad, he’s playing because people who know more than you’ll ever know about football pick him.

19.) 13 Feb 2022
13 Feb 2022 18:38:42
Same like Henderson. He was bloody awful and doesn’t feature in our best midfield.

13 Feb 2022 18:48:46
Getting a bit too familiar with Keita, aren't you ND? I hope you don't make him call you Daddy in return.

21.) 13 Feb 2022
13 Feb 2022 19:01:49
I never see the point of bashing one of your own players during the season and certainly not before a game. Like it or not Keita is here until the summer at least, if he does well it’s good for Liverpool, throwing abuse at him isn’t going to make him play better.

22.) 13 Feb 2022
13 Feb 2022 19:20:52
Evening all. Did we win today? According to the above TAA, Hendo, Naby amd Bobby had shockers. The other seven must have put a hell of a shift in.

A difficult Burnley team on their own patch in awful conditions not really taken into account eh?

‘You don’t know what you’ve got til it’s gone’ springs to mind.

{Ed0666's Note - I think we have every right to voice our opinion on the performance in a constructive manner. Bobby, TAA, Hendo didn’t have the best of games we have to be earnest about that without destroying them. Keita from what I saw was tidy and besmirching his performance is just persecution for the sake of it. But I echo your sentiments mate with regards to the weather it was beyond ugly and to get 3 points in that howling wind and rain is a minor miracle. Well done Redmen. I have to say I was profoundly disappointed Ted with Curtis Jones today he was anonymous!

23.) 13 Feb 2022
13 Feb 2022 19:45:30
Curtis was certainly invisible at times Ed0666.

It cannot be said enough that Burnley away is one of the worse away matches, it’s worse than Stoke, which is saying something. Big win today. Naby played his part and was at least a 7/ 10 performance. Plenty to be happy about today. Clean sheet, holding onto a lead, winning a two h away game and a clean sheet. It’s.

25.) 14 Feb 2022
13 Feb 2022 23:38:44
Agree Ed0666, constructive criticism is fine and constructive criticism in context is even better.

Continually finding fault and presenting it in a negative fashion for lack of anything else to say serves no purpose imho.

26.) 14 Feb 2022
14 Feb 2022 00:52:22
I thought Naby was our best player in the first half in particular. It seems no matter what he does it’ll never be good enough for some.
I for one am still routing for Naby and I still hope he gets a good run of games and shows us some of the form that made us want to sign him in the first place. There’s definitely a player in there.

27.) 14 Feb 2022
14 Feb 2022 02:22:17
I games like this I find it difficult to pick out individual performances. especially when certain names come up often and other names seem to miss criticism altogether.

I like Keita and think he has been tidy this season. Good to see him getting games and he is part of the machine that we need on gameday and also pushing each other to be better on the training paddock. Hope he stays fit.

{Ed0666's Note - listen the guys time at Liverpool has been nothing sort of a disaster and a gross waste of money. But the guy didn’t play badly today so people lay off. We need him to stay fit till end of the season to give us options. Whatever happens in the summer who knows?

28.) 14 Feb 2022
14 Feb 2022 12:10:32
I’d rather he succeed than flush 50m down the bog, so he deserves the benefit of the doubt and a chance to prove his worth, and he can’t do that in the reserves or on the bench.
