Apparently a fee is close to being agreed/ is agreed? for Gravenberch, and we're in an advanced stage for Cheick Doucouré.

To be honest I think a right back would solve a lot of problems. It would get Trent into the midfield, it would shore up the defence and it would stop us having to play this odd system, as well as putting less pressure on Konate to cover so much ground. One player would solve a lot of problems. On the other hand we could buy lots of other players and still have the same issue at the back.

Don’t see the need for Gravenberch now, we really need another specialist CDM player, Endo is one but the rest of our midfielders are more adept further forward so I’d go all in for dacoure and a LCB, ok if moneys there for all 3 ok, but I doubt it is.

RazorSharpe just leave Trent at RB where he has been at his best attacking and not in midfield where he can't take a ball with his back to goal. Yesterday he was the cause of two goals, one disallowed, because he is not a midfielder unless we are going to turn him into an 8 and we just signed two of those.

I'd be happy with gravenberch as long as we get a dm too. At 25 Mill gravenberch is a really low risk smart sogning as even if he doesn't do great we'll get at least our money back and he does have the potential to be great if he plays like he did at ajax.

Doucoure should be the absolute priority. Endo is a good squad addition, but Doucoure is the destroyer we need. Gravenberch, I really don’t understand, I guess if he’s going for a cheap rate, they can see potential sell on value but certainly not a priority. A CB after Doucoure then.

I’d be very happy with Doucoure then the Endo teamster makes more sense and I hold my hands up for over reacting this week. if Gravenberch comes as well I think that would really affect the game time of some of our own young players Elliott Jones and Bajcetic but if he is better then fair enough. But to bring in 2 more midfielders and cb surely we need to move some players on. Phillips and Matip need to go otherwise there is no chance we are bringing in another cb no need for 6.

Before the departures of Hendo and Fab, the question amongst us fans was 2/ 3 midfielders

So with those gone it’s wether we get 4/ 5 midfielders.

Personally I think 2 more will arrive, Newcastle away will highlight how desperate we are especially with Macs red.

Sure the exact same thing happened last year when he was playing at right back. He just doesn’t defend but is untouchable. If you say anything bad against him at all, you are called a “troll”.

I think TAA will come good with a strong DM next to him, he has his faults, but I think we can accept he is in the team to stay and is now vice captain. A player who was considered the best attacking full back in the world a couple of years ago, doesn't suddenly become crap. I would love to sign Doucoure/ Amrabat. I did like the look of Endo, think he will be a really good signing.

Szo and Mac with a strong DM, will be a midfield to challenge, not necessarily for the title but with out attack as well, I am excited for this season.

TheScousehouse- The fee might be reasonable but his wages are not and if he doesn’t perform well for us he could be tough to shift without us maybe sweetening the goodbye for him.
