We have again been asked to consider gapko.

Thought is we should have moved for him in summer. However he has been in good form and Liverpool have been advised to consider him.

Personally I feel opportunity was last summer and we could have got him around 50 million add on included. Now i think there will be more suitors in the picture

There is also a kid from serbia samek me that is being looked at keenly. He might happen in January.

Don’t know much about him, but midfield has to be the priority. The only way I think we bring in forward reinforcements is if Bobby leaves on a free, but the way he is playing currently surely he’s getting a new contract.

To be fair Sid he called Diaz and the exact amount when everyone else said b*llocks so maybe a little bit of credit where it’s due mate? Nobody gets them all right, and nobody is obligated to share information with us! However that said I’d much rather a midfielder or two than another forward but Salah competition wouldn’t be too bad (think he could of used it lately) .

Given we have Diaz, Jota, Darwin and Carvalho all capable of playing as left-sided, right-footed forwards, Cody Gakpo, while maybe liked by our scouts and recruitment team, doesn't make a huge amount of sense.

Unless they see the possibility of him being Bobby's successor or even doing a Gini and convert him into a box-to-box midfielder?

All you have to do is read Akira post history. He explained at the time why he knew exclusively about Diaz perhaps a week or two before it happened. I remember it very well at the time. The reason given however makes no sense as to how he would have any further “inside info. ” Everything he has posted since as mentioned has not panned out, was it indeed all a myth? A guess? A repost from reddit? I also have no problem with sharing a rumour and don't intend to attack Akira but I feel its important to let the readers of this site be aware that his posting is definitely not gospel.

Er, isn’t this the rumours page? I think it’s quite common to get rumours on these types of pages. Seems that quite a few posters seem to be confusing it with the new ‘Irrefutable absolute truth about agreed between the buying and selling clubs, the player’s agent and the player’s’ page.

How about treating rumours like rumours and lightening up on the character assassinations, just because we can mentality?

Yea Kaide Gordon hadn’t played in 7 months due to injuries, hopefully they are just growing issues. Recently turning 18 he has the benefit of youth on his side and room for development but with only 4 first team appearances behind him is he really the one to step in to give Salah a rest now and again, particularly in important league and CL games?
A 20 something right sided attacker might be a better option.
Easier said than done.

with all due respect to kaide, even our very best youth players ain't producing 15 goals and 8 assists hahaha
but yeah I like the idea of Kaide being integrated into the team, but feel he is years away from being able to step into Salah's shoes.

Beef with all due respect, nothing anybody says about transfers is gospel and nobody treats anybody as such, more likely to be subject of contempt. Ask Ed002, the man provides info to the best of his knowledge and if one thing is wrong morons come out in packs. Nothing is gospel and they’d love that to be that case but it simply is not, but as I would for Ed002 I’m saying give Akira some slack, people can be wrong, or right and things can change. I haven’t called a transfer correctly in 30 years, it’s not an easy business. What I do know is you don’t ‘guess’ a club making a financial transaction and for the exact amount unless you know something. Ed002 and Akira keep it up and ST, you guys have supplied most of what we knew in advance. Love and respect.
