I believe you will get the Glomar (or NCND) response from the Eds.

It WILL be more than £60 though.

I wish I could use the excuse of a typo or being tired lol. About £59,999,940 more I reckon ;)

If this is true. Makes me feel like Coutinho could go this summer. It's an awful lot of money and I just don't see us spending over 150m on a transfer window and not having a key player exit.

£60.plus a dozen sticks of Blackpool Rock 😂

Seriously though, I'd love us to get Keita . fingers crossed anyway.

Really hope this is true! and jordz this doesn't mean Courts is leaving. When your building a team of quality to win things you don't sell you keep adding.

ESPN and Times Journo's are also reporting that personal terms have been agreed with NK.

All the reports are saying we've agreed personal terms but are yet to agree anything with RBL

Please don't tell me we've been so monumentally stupid yet again?

Wait a minute, what's that sound? It goes "tap, tap, tap" and the silent for a while.

Doubt it will be Phil. Isn't sturridge meant to be going? That should get us a decent chunk of that money back. I'll believe it when I see it though. Seems too much for us to spend. Dunno.

I wouldn't worry about money. We could easily spend 200 and raise near 100 without selling 'key' players. Sakho and sturridge would be the most of that. Maybe 60 plus million. Madness but everyone in football seems crazy now. Then there's lucas, markovic, flannagan, Stewart and other fringe players likely to go. Remember we got 15 million for ibe last year.

In what world is Sturridge not a key player for us?

13.) 30 Jun 2017
30 Jun 2017 19:29:50
The world in which he never plays lol

DS is class but you can't be a key player for a team and start less than 50% of games that doesn't add up.

Have we issued an apology yet?

Have we been caught tapping up players again cos we will be getting a ban for sure?

I believe sturridge is a key player for us. so much so that he is the likely outgoing player who will raise the most cash to help pay for kieta. I would like him to stay personally. When fit hrs one of best in the league. My point was there is money to be made without selling coutinio. Think sturridge should be given at least anot her year to try and shake off injury woes. But have been hearing rumours that he is to be sold.

Fact check me if I'm wrong, but Sturridge scores the most per game on our squad. He has been recovering from niggling injuries and finally hit his peak again at the end of the season just finished and was our most convincing striker for the last month of the season. Unless the player wants to leave, there is no reason to sell him. And I say this as firminos biggest advocate: Sturridge should always start when fit.

Amerigo I love Sturridge and think he is our most naturally gifted player. IF he had no injury concerns he would be one of the best in the world. Unfortunately he wasn't a key players for us because he never played, klopp prefers firmino and even chose origi ahead of Dan when both fit (ish) . I'm not sure what world you live in but if sturridge stays he'll be a backup at best. He will get injuries again and there is no chance klopp will be thinking going into this season. Oh let's not have other options, we have Dan all year.

I agree amegro. He is our best striker. Different player to firmino though who possibly works harder. I hope you're right about the injuries. I like him but maybe klopp doesn't.
