Can we please stop now with the players we are losing crying ?. Everybody was moaning last season about Henderson and Fabinho now they are going it's like the world has ended give it a break as a kid I could not believe it when Souness left felt the same when king retired and so on but the club has to move on.
And as good as they have been and as much as I love both off them they are no Souness or Gerrard Dalglish or Hansen and can be replaced it's Klopp that has made the team and I have full faith he will make another and is coming from a lot stronger place than when he first came,

I'm glad we've got decent money for them but concerned we're not sorting the defensive side our team out. As it stands we won't get many clean sheets with this squad.

It’s a never ending cycle of the Liverpool fan. Most complained the midfield had no legs anymore. Needed a fully rebuild. Hendo was past it, fabhino was done, Thiago can’t stay fit. Then we bring in two great prospects with another likely to join potentially two. And then it’s “we have lost to many now” oh our midfield is in trouble etc.

Can’t win, the complaining never stops as people will always find another avenue to be negative.

If our new midfield needs time to settle in so be it. If they’re good enough in time and we get back to winning trophies who cares about a ropey few months of them bedding in.

For me the defence needs work. Am I going to complain about it? No, I will put my trust in the boss we have to get things right. Rome wasn’t built in a day, thank god there was no social media back then as there would have been a melt down had they gone to bed and woke up the next day to see the new roads hadn’t all been built within 8 hours of them going to sleep and waking up again….

Grino last 10 games we improved. Fabinho even was a bit better. So the DM position needs a top player. That's before even looking at Matip and Gomez who have been poor for a long time now. Even VVD has been average. We seem to like buying forward or attacking players despite our defense needing urgent upgrade.

Spot on, Grino. Some fans are just interested in being right and just follow the narrative du jour. Many of the Same people who wanted Fab and Hendo gone last season are prolly the same ones crying that Fab and Hendo are gone. Make that make sense, man. They just want something to cry about even when they got their way. Good grief!

As to what we should do in the TW, the Ed’s have said they expect a DM and a CB to come in so let’s wait and see and if we can get another mid to come in after that then, hooray. Just my take.

Just saying, but what kind of CB can we realistically bring in? I know there’s the idea of someone like gvardiol, but is that even realistic? Which top level CB like him going to come to us to be a backup?

It’s all very incongruent with the idea that fans should “stop crying” when players who have been around for years and have delivered trophies ultimately end their time at the club.
