This is pretty bad at the moment. Like Roy Hodgson territory. What was likeable from Klopps teams is clearly not there anymore. Something stinks at the moment. Could anyone shed a light on what is going on at the club. It’s pretty bad when our squad is so bad we have to keep playing Trent even know he is clearly one of the worst defenders of all time. Joe Gomez? Matip? I know we have injuries, but our squad is atrocious these days. He can’t even make a sub today because our bench is so bad

Trent does nothing wrong today and yet you pile in with the worst defender of all time nonsense.

He’s not even the worst full back we’ve had at this club at this club in recent memory.

Hodgson's era was from the bottom of the rubbish pile stuck 10 feet deep in sh*t.
This isn't that and bouncing back today compared to then isn't the same thing.

Hodgson was the worst period as a Liverpool fan for me, we had issues with the owners and a squad that was lucky to fight for europa league and a manager who said we weren’t too big for a relegation battle.

This squad, on paper, is a million miles away from that but confidence is shot and our midfield and tactics just don’t seem to be working. Add to that we are making basic mistakes and it gives you a mountain to climb.

I don’t know the mechanics behind the scenes, but on the face of it, it needs to change. Get a different set of opinions in there to help klopp. I am not at the klopp out stage but he needs help imo.

Next week is now a must win, we all hoped the World Cup would break the rut but we are possibly worse. Can you imagine these pages if we lose? The bare minimum next week is some fight. If we can’t get up for a derby, we are in all heaps of bother and way worse then I thought.

WYRed, every week someone says next week is a must win and when we lose or draw its pushed to "next week", at some stage like after 19 or 20 games fans should say that the team is free falling and is this acceptable.

I get that mcgoveb but I will always try be optimistic/ keep blind hope.

This has to end at some point and hopefully its next week, I don't think we will suddenly go on a 9/ 10 game winning run. The drop off is too stark for that imo, but a loss next week in the Derby and I fear the knives would be out on klopp. (Something I personally don't want) .

I still believe he can fix it, but it has to come from within and the players need to want it too.

Right now it feels like a bunch of players turning up knowing the season is done, it's not acceptable but they have to pull their socks up and fight through this. Reading about the game that doesn't seem yo be the case right now.

I didn’t think it was this bad either. It’s hard to know where to start. Every time there is a period without a game we come back worse. I agree if Klopp and the players can’t get up for the derby and then Newcastle and Madrid I fear the whole thing might come crashing down.

Liverpool have finished no lower than 8th in the top division since 1963. This for me is the worst season of my lifetime, in terms of performance and position in the table. Unfortunately every single player manager coach is to blame. They all seem utterly useless.

I don't see how Klopp survives if we continue like this the rest of the season. I think he'll lose the dressing room. Great managers can't go on forever. I hope he can turn it around.

Everton beat arsenal today and they in a relegation battle. If we lose against that team, then some decisions need to be made.
