There are literally millions of genuine football fans who would love to play in the Europa Conference.

Your lack of empathy, condescension and sense of entitlement marks you out as a truly special type of fan. Your disregard or unawareness of context for the club, the game in general and for all the fans who turn up week in, week out year after year without any chance of winning leagues and trophies but show up faithfully because they support their team through thick and thin is staggering

Just because you support the team it doesn't mean you have to like the Europa Conference League. The reality is it's a bad season for some teams and a good season for others if they are in the competition.

Not at all @FPF, I’m more than happy to discuss footy in either a serious or light hearted manner to the best of my ability. However, if anybody is ‘talking soft’ as we used to say, then I am more than happy to say so.

I don’t profess to be a better supporter than anybody and I’m happy to admit that I know very little about setting up a team or what tactics should be used against opposition with different styles of play.

What I do know is that I love watching Football played well, especially if it’s us, but I hope I’m mature enough to know that can’t always be the case. When we are playing badly I hope I can offer constructive criticism but it is getting harder as the level of entitlement and lack of empathy and appreciation of context being shown (like in the contribution to this thread made, in the case by @Markp) by an increasing number of fans is just unwarranted.

If you don't like something, you're entitled to keep whining about it a la Veruca Salt.
But don't make things up so you can have a whine. It means I have to keep correcting you.
I can live with some fans not handling conflicting emotions but I don't like lies.

I only saw Markp try to say that Klopp needs to stop being stubborn and play a more compact approach else we’ll continue to underachieve. It’s an opinion. And not a bizarre one either. It’s also trying to be constructive.

The subtle dig at Europa Conference might be entitlement if you overanalyse it, but to argue that is as much of an overreaction as the other things being pointed out.

I too like watching football. We are not a good watch this season - bar the odd 10 mins. The approach, decision making and the fact that we’ve had multiple breaks to fix it without success so far is understandably causing the alarm. It’s ok to feel that way without being accused of slagging off or disloyalty.

Quick question just to see everyone's thoughts. No CL football next season or anymore signings this window but FSG have sold the club and we've plenty of money in the summer or a player or 2 comes in this window, we sort the form out and get CL football and FSG are still owners after the summer window? No right or wrong answer, just curious.

Oh mane, I’d rather we buy a couple of decent midfield players, sort our form out and get champions league football, having the same owners in place. For a team like us, champions league football is vital as it’s provides much wanted revenue for the club and is also a big selling point when trying to convince top players to join us.
