Just me being lazy but does anybody know if Arthur is getting near to being fit? I know he went to the Dubai training camp but haven’t seen or heard anything since. I have to say I’d be interested to see him play to see if he is a chance of joining us permanently.

In another post the all knowing VVVV said “looks like we’re in for some more Juve cast offs” maybe he thinks that Weston McKennie is one of them and I’m sure Liverpool amongst aload of other teams have scouted him, perhaps VVVV should warn them off and take over their scouting department as for Melo after initially paying Juve 4.5mil for his services if Liverpool exercise the right to buy him it will be in or around 40mil€ to be paid over 4yrs, he is due back end of January unless Liverpool buy another midfielder he will then be released, it’s all down to Klopp but by all accounts he wants to see what he can do if fit before that decision is made oh unless VVVV has told Mr Klopp different.

I’m sure I read somewhere that he was ahead of schedule hence him going to Dubai. But I can't remember If there was a time frame on it.

I don’t think he will be kept on. Seems we over the worst, players are coming back ( even if you think they not good enough) and if the £40 million price tag is correct it’s a big chunk towards one of the Jude’s that we linked to etc. plus I can never get the vision of him looking up into the oblivion of the dark Liverpool sky as we put 4 past Barca.

There could be the possibility that a further season long loan is agreed so we can see what he do. He seems to have the right work ethic though as he has been working hard behind the scenes to get back quicker. For all we know he could have an excellent second half of season so let’s give the guy a chance.
