Given recent events we seem to be linked to any and every DM going. Other than Doucoure another name being reported is Palinha from Fulham. I assume given his age (28) and recent injury he is unlikely?

Could be seen as a Fabinho replacement for Liverpool or even an alternative to Bellingham but right now I am not aware of interest being declared by them. Aston Villa offer a less attractive option as they look to a Doulas Luiz replacement.}

Palinha is the one for me. get him In. 60m I believe but he's just turned 28 and in his prime right now. It's him or doucoure by all accounts and I'd be happy with either. But palinha is very very good. Just his age but united wasn't bothered when they got cassamero and he's certainly changed them.

Since FSG have owned the club, we have never paid such a fee for a 28 year old. Just can't see it.

Thankyou oh2b. we also need experience. And is 28 really old these days. How old was virg hendo Jimmy bobby ect when in their prime we won the league and champions league. I've nothing against the younger guys coming through but we need here and now players also.

Nah, 60m for a 28 year old when we can get Doucoure for the same price and 4/ 5 years younger? Nope, not for me.
