Bit of solid info I've been given, but worth a share as i am seen as a bit of fsg hater, but here we are, coming from the Captain; Klopp hasn't been himself since his mum unfortunately passed. Many believe, and his missus included that he is in a state of depression, he lost his mum, then his dog that he used to walk round Liverpool with also died.

This was a big blow, he started snapping at everyone and as good as forced out the medical team, the new physios that have come in are terrible, coming from a player they are saying they do still have the legs but the training is terrible and they just aren't as fit as they were, some were disappointed when Klopp signed his new contract, such has been his downward mood, this explains a lot.

it's gutting to see Jurgen not being like the guy he was, hopefully he gets help from within the club, FSG says he has had enough money but spent it on forwards instead of the midfield issues we have. For me it's a bit of a kop out as we need both forwards and midfield. The investments have been nowhere near good enough squad wise, Bellingham is a massive Klopp and Liverpool fan, he wants to come, Klopp wants him there, the only worry is if FSG are still there.

i pray Klopp gets the help he clearly needs, his missus loves being in Liverpool and she 100% wants to be there and he does, just needs the help he deserves, the takeover is definitely happening and it will be Arab led, it is a little way down line but something is happening. YNWA.

Well, where do you start with that. If true then he certainly does need some help from the club and even more help from the supporters.
If it’s someone making up nonsense then it’s pathetic and stuff like this shouldn’t be trivialised as idle gossip.

His mother died in 2021 so what about last season? As for his dog dying that's sad but he's a professional football manager and that shouldn't be an issue with him managing Liverpool.

If this is true, and Klopp is really dealing with all these things, then it might be best for him to step down as manager of Liverpool. And, believe me, I say that with a heavy heart because of all he has done for the club. But, mental health should always come first above everything else.

Right now, he is thrust into the limelight. The whole world is watching him, ridiculing him, spreading stupid pictures of a lion and saying that is Klopp. These are the same people that will cry and parrot the need to protect people, mental health, and do not see their actions as contributing to this.

Simple people will always follow the herd, and, unfortunately, the target right now is Liverpool and Klopp on a regular basis due to our current poor form compared to previous seasons. Unhappy people, sad, lonely people, will often target those they had once aspired to be. Klopp is in a fortunate position, in terms of financial and societal norms, however, if the post is true, the same can not be said for his mental wellbeing.

Perhaps we need to part ways for the sake of all parties. A fresh start, new perspective and a new vision which is implemented by a new manager. Of course, FSG need to go for that to happen.

There is one bit I disagree with though. Klopp forcing out the medical team as they are at fault. The medical team is, in essence, supposed to oppose the manager for the sake of the player's welfare. If a player could risk injury, then they are supposed to tell the manager that he can not play, whether he likes it or not. After all, our doctors can only treat not prevent injuries that is not their assigned role within the club.

No, for me the fault lies elsewhere. I believe the fault lies with our fitness coaches, as well as our strength and conditioning coaches. Our bout of injuries, season upon season, has been a regularly occurring problem. To the same players too. In these instances, surely the fitness coaches, etc, would tailor their programme to more appropriate limits. But, clearly that is not happening.

Yes, acquisition in recent times has been poor. And, yes, the same players keep picking up knocks and injuries. But, surely the fitness group should adapt their training to prevent this. Either the fitness coaches are going too low intensity, which the Eds suspect might be the case, or the intensity is too high and it is causing strain. Either way, it is poor management and something that needs to be addressed.

Regardless of how true this is that's a bit harsh Yarmo, to say what about last season well quite a lot were pointing towards somewhat of a decline even in last season but we were still getting results. Apart from that though I just disagree with saying how someone should be effected by what's happening in their life and how they should be dealing with it.

This is from within the club, Klopp is a legend in my eyes and i was trying to share that the Klopp we have seen since C.V. and after is clearly not the same as before hand, it explains a lot that was always clear to see, the man's troubled and needs our unwavered support to get him back to his old self. i trust who told me but i'm without doubt supportive of Klopp and not after a quick thumbs up, he needs some understanding and it has been said on here the step back he has taken is noticeable.

LFC MANGO, Klopp was falling out with his medical team more and more, ( and most in general) which is one reason they all left for new jobs, the replacements are massively inadequate, Klopp can also see this but not a lot can be helped with that for now, hence the players being p. ed off with them too, as for your mate Ed025, Dele Ali, that lad has spent hundreds of thousands on a Playstation addiction, another who has fallen to addiction but not the usual one, aka D. James but on a much higher level.

Great post. I definitely agree something is clearly wrong with the training or medical team, as the players look way off it, and constantly injured. On top of that, they played a massive season last year with not a lot of squad rotation. If you pair this with players like Trent being allowed to play in whatever position he wants (apart from right back) and the defence simply not playing at premier league standard, in fact you could argue they aren’t even functioning at any professional standard. Well I suppose these two things alone would cause a huge drop off. Then when the forward players get it into their heads that their team is going to concede 2 or 3 goals per game because of selfish players like Trent or Joe Gomez (who is about 5 leagues out of his depths) not defending properly. Well then that will affect their confidence. I know people on this site don’t like Salah, but I would prefer to run with a more straightforward narrative. Salah is playing badly because he is in a bad team. It’s not his fault.

If Klopp is suffering because of his personal situation, then he could maybe take a break for a few months and get his head sorted. The season is over anyway, so it wouldn’t make any difference, and we all know that Ljinders is almost salivating at the thought of stealing his job, so we would have a ready made replacement. I don’t want Klopp to go by the way. I just want him and the club to perform better and run better. 1 season ago we were the envy of every team and sky sports were constantly going on about how we had the blue print on how clubs should be run. It’s funny how things change when you start losing.

@Monty, Including the Roy Hodgson era where we were supposedly "not too big for a relegation battle"? I feel we were closer to relegation then than we are now.

But whatever Lancaster has posted does seem very plausible and believable. I do work with people with mental issues and it is not unheard of for people to go into depression when their mum and pet passes away in quick succession. Coupled with being I a high pressure environment, I can definitely see Klopp's mental health suffering.

But like Adam and Mark above, I find it difficult to believe that all this came from Hendo. He just doesn't seem to be the kind of person to leak this kind of things.

It's not a rumour and Henderson certainly isn't going round telling all, he never said all of what i wrote and he certainly isn't back stabbing anyone, it's a genuine break down of some things that are happening behind the scenes that can help explain a lot of how things have gone so wrong, it clearly isn't common knowledge so to say that Henderson is a C would be wrong, I have zero problem keeping these things for myself but as i have been FSG bashing so much i thought it would be good to shed a bit of light onto why and what is up, still hopeful they sell up sooner or later, they've had their time at the club, we are going backwards now, and NO player is spreading nasty gossip about Klopp, more of a concern, the physio's and fitness side are a shambles, that was from the skipper, he feels their being let down badly, as to not have anything twisted on here I'll keep the info to myself.

I dunno if anyone else feels this way but the screw everyone else (take the oil money) as long as I get what I want (being able to outspend rival football teams) just leaves me hollow inside. If this is what fans want then why did they get so p. ed off with the ESL? I think the game as we know it will disappear and some sort of super league will happen unless we can make the game fairer, more meritocratic. My first game was at Prenton Park with my grandad, that memory means more to me that any number of Bellinghams coming into the club. I don’t want to lose that.

According to reports today it’s the fitness coaches fault and he is why everyone has either left or is unhappy. Klopp has apparently hand both him and Pep a large amount of responsibility and they are not handling it well.

The more that is written, the more it sounds like a soap plot, which makes me think it is mostly unhappy Journo’s and a disgruntled tea boy making things up.

I really would prefer to not have investment from someone who has considered another team first or owns someone else. Shortsighted I know, but the passion has to be in all areas of the club, so if the owners are just looking for the next investment or bigger opportunities in football then that disconnect is distracting and harmful. We are not a club who manages uncertainty well.

Yeah I completely agreed with Lancaster reds post about all the mental health stuff and all. I wasn’t disagreeing. But I don’t think it come from the team captain. Why the f@ck would he leak that information. Of what use would that be to him? Surely even the most stupid of footballers would know that that is just an idiotic thing to do, so therefore I don’t believe it come from hendo. Doesn’t mean the actual story isn’t true though. But how would any of us know anyway.

One of my close mates started working for Manchester City, about 10 years ago. He is not a player but would have regular access to them. He doesn’t ring me and tell me what is going on with his club and leak a load of dirt. It’s just stupid, in all walks of life or any type of job to talk sh@t about your boss or employers.

whether true or not, I think it's always a reasonable thing to do to consider that there is more going on for these guys that the fish bowl we see them in. When we say we can't understand why so and so has been bad, or this has changed or whatever, it could literally be because we can't see what else is going on behind the scenes. It's why I really have no time for posters who take personal swipes at players who they know nothing about.
