Hi Ed's
Quick question. With LFC's next EL game being against Toulouse and RedBird owning one club and having a roughly 10% stake I believe in LFC how exactly is this all working? I've read a few articles online where such owners/ 'significant' others have had to take themselves off the boards to appease UEFA eg Brighton and Villa to comply with UEFA regs. Just wondering how UEFA cannot think that owners won't interfere for one club if it's in their best interest and how it'll be 'policed. ' Obvs the likes of Chelsea and city have had a larger umbrella for years but I just wondered what your point of view is on the whole subject as in whether it's asking or tempting for it to be abused? Or whether it's really going to be controlled properly by a frankly corrupt organisation such as UEFA anyway?
{Ed002's Note - It is not an issue as do not have a controlling or significant interest in both clubs otherwise the club with the lowest co-efficient would not be allowed to compete in the tournament. I have no idea the point you are trying to make about Manchester City. If any third party interference or cheating is identified, and it is policed, the club involved would get a very significant ban from Europe. This has the support of all of the "elite" European sides (who last met at the end of August) and the European Club Association, with Liverpool being a member of the latter. UEFA is not corrupt - huge amounts of effort have been made to address corruption issues in European football. Maybe Liverpool should back out of the European game and go bac back to Project Bigfoot.}

£20 million player? What have you been smoking?! 5 mill at best, he’s hardly played for a year. He could have been sold for maybe 10 mill two years ago when he did an awesome job of covering for us. He deserves a move and not be priced out of it, eg 20 mill, else he’ll just go for nothing next summer.

Yes, he’s currently undergoing rehabilitation from his previous injury so can’t currently join the team training but is still with the pre season group. It would take you all of 2 minutes to find this out yourself via Google or the LFC media sources. Just saying.
