Afternoon Ed’s.
There is a good probability that Sturridge, Clyne and Milner will be leaving in the summer, perhaps Lallana too. so my question is what do you know is being done by LFC to address the required number/ quota of homegrown players? I am aware that we have the likes of Rhian Brewster, but as you all know under 21’s are eligible to play and there is not a requirement for them to be registered in the 25 man squad. It’s one of the reasons I think Hudson-Odoi and Ben Chilwell, perhaps Declan Rice could be targets although the price asked for them could be prohibitive.

I thought it’s a requirement you have 8 homegrown players in squad of 25. or has that changed?
{Ed001's Note - it has never been a requirement. You need to look into it properly. Teams do not have any obligation to have homegrown players in their squads at all.}

I understand that but if you had none, you’d have a squad of only 17 players. I know in previous seasons we’ve only registered 19 players. and when injuries, suspensions kick in it can leave you short, or having to play under 21’s. hence I’m just trying to find out if f there are any homegrown players we have an interest in?
