Hello Ed001, if possible could you give your opinion on Endo, not for nothing, he is now one of us and I personally would love to know him better and I'm not taking about YouTube reels.

{Ed001's Note - I haven't seen him play. Sorry. Everything I have heard about him was good though.}

Ed1, I've seen a lot of Stuttgart fans were gutted when it is announce that he is leaving. The bundesliga fans also have been saying good things about him. So that is a good thing. My only concern is the he will take up one non-HG spot. It makes me wonder why on earth did we keep Adrian instead of letting him go.

{Ed001's Note - I would say keeping Matip and Jota was more of an issue than Adrian. They are both on huge money, more than most of the team, yet neither are good enough to be starters.}

{Ed001's Note - I would say Endo is enough if Bajcetic is close and the option to play Trent there when Bradley is fit. Unless Klopp wants him as the left-sided centre-back or to cover full-back areas, which he can do, in which case we do need another one.}

Agree Ed - I think he’s a smart signing and gives us a lot of flexibility across a number of positions (a bit like Milner did for us), while taking us from being desperate to being able to think strategically when it comes to negotiating for anyone else.

That would be disappointing if we ended the window with Endo as the main DM, but would not be surprised at all either, very much par for the course. However, I live in hope that we will move for someone like dacoure and a cheap left sided defender before the window shuts.

At 5 10' I wouldn't put much faith in endo at CB.

Germany is much less physical league with a lot more space and time. He's not exactly quick either so he'll get caught out a lot with our high line approach

I hope endo is a success but I'm expecting him going out on loan or being sold mid season. The area of the field he's being recruited for is very physical and requires a lot of stamina and resilience. So much so it wore down a Brazilian international 3 years before his sell by date.

The plus side is he's cheap and with low wages so it's virtually no risk financially. I hope that klopp instructs him to basically do what masch used to and just win the ball and immediately give it to a player who can use it better.

Ed1. Once this transfer window closes a top DOF should be the next signing. One that has a proven track record and a good scouting network. But also
One that has a clear vision and is strong minded. You have an idea or should I say a short list of some we should be targeting?

{Ed001's Note - it is difficult to say on this because every club has a different remit and you don't know what kind of restrictions they have had. For instance Marcel Brands has been brilliant for PSV but his time at Everton was a disaster. However, how much of that was down to him? It seems most of the problem there was owner interference.

I would defo avoid anyone from Ajax though - everything about that club is a mess nowadays, but particularly their recruitment.}

As for him having played in the Bundesliga and it's physicality levels, you are aware that we just signed a certain Dom Szoboszlai from the Bundesliga who is a physical unit, right? Endo has hardly missed a game in his Bundesliga career. Ok, We get it. You don't like the signing so no need for the long post. I'm sure you will come back and admit you were wrong about him IF he is still here after the Jan transfer window. The countdown has begun.
