Graham Potter getting ripped apart by City. He was supposed to cure all the problems in football lol.

Not sure Chelsea’s woes are much different to ours at the moment. They can blame most of it with the change of ownership and lots of injuries. We’ve been a fairly stable ship in comparison and not playing any better.

Some people see a manager take a team from mid table to slightly higher mid table and think they’re better than the ones that win trophies. I’ve seen Thomas Frank talked about as a Klopp replacement ?‍♂️ Chelsea should have been all over Zidane but the longer they keep Potter the better for us.

Moving to a club after the summer transfer window has closed requires patience, which he won’t get because it’s Chelsea. You have no preseason to get the players used to your style of play. You also don’t have the players you want. I don’t see them getting top 4 and and as a result he will be sacked, possibly even before the season ends.

Think we need to get our own team in order before lauding at someone else’s misfortune.

Absolutely @OneKiss, A lot of posters wished Potter replaced Klopp. But at least they have money to throw.

We’ve our own rocky road nvr mind Chelsea’s!
Plus they’ve deep pockets to try get out of it.

I don’t think Potter is the problem at Chelsea.

But some fans wanted him to replace Klopp? Just see the amount of money he has spent and yet have taken them backwards quickly.

Hence need to appreciate more what we have especially after 3 decades of continuous finding for the right man ?.

Potter can turn a club around; I've no doubt about that.
Look what he did for The Phoenix.

They'll still hammer us in a fortnight.

When you consider they have been without chilwell and James for most of the season and they are big parts of how they play it’s hardly surprising. They badly need somebody to lead their attack to. If only they had a 90 million striker on their books….

Did you see the team Chelsea played they waved the white flag before a ball was kicked. City are looking good but hey we all know that they are disgusting FFP cheats so nothing they do really counts. They will still never win the champions league which is quite a result for anyone who loves football.

{Ed025's Note - worry about your own team mate..

Oh yea @Rigsby. Potter has lost 7 of his last 9 games. Roman would have sacked him by now.

08 Jan 2023 19:36:44
City will win the CL someday that’s a case of when not if. This will be our 4th season without winning it and we still harp on about it. I think we’d have won it again in 2020 had we bought a good keeper rather than Adrian.

08 Jan 2023 19:40:37
If he did get sacked Everton would be crazy not to try and bring him in. He’s exactly what they need.

So city are FFP cheats and what about Chelsea lol ?. They founded this whole crap of money into the business.

Think we've got plenty of our own problems without looking at Chelsea.

Much will depend on the patience of the Chelsea fans too. They have started a complete rebuild from the looks of it.

Arteta was in seemingly same position 2 seasons ago. See what happen to him now. It takes times.

I love the irony of Ed025's comment ?.
And nothing what City do really counts?
This place keeps getting better ?.

Still think you’ll be top 4 come end of season. Just hope not at our expense. Thibk you’ll get Jude too.

Patience and Chelsea fans?
They’re already chanting for Saint Roman and Tuchel.

I thought new owners and buying a bunch of players was supposed to solve everything.

23.) 09 Jan 2023
09 Jan 2023 04:57:02
@Faithinworks, that'd only be valid for Liverpool. For others it's a mix of patience, trust in the manager and whatnot, but when it comes to Liverpool we want money spent on players.
I believe this is what irony is called?

OneKiss, Seriously, some of our fans are the best. You cry all the time when we we don't win. And when we DO win, you're still crying cos we talk about it. The absolute "best" fans, indeed. Yes, we won the CL 4 years ago and we will KEEP harping on it cos we actually won. If you don't like it, do one and jog on, bro.

Oh and when City do win it, it will not be a huge celebration or some great achievement after well over 2 billion spent on players. It will b received in the words of LeBron James, "It's about DAMN time".
