Currently Liverpool have 7 Strikers in Sturridge, Ings, Benteke (imminent), Origi, Borini, Lambert, Balotelli. Don't you think its a bad strategy of just buying without selling. Potential suitors of Balotelli, Borini and Lambert know we have to sell them at any price.

well pk the eds have said selling is the next phase, and with sturridge out for the next three months, borini possibly going to lazio, lambert possibly to wba and ballotelli loan possibly to foirentina that makes lfc starting the season with three fit first team strikers not including the little guys who could possibly play there does that make you feel better.

but equally, is it wise to sell before you buy?
Because then clubs know we have to buy at any price

We bought at 32.5 mill and a free. We would have got exactly the same prices if we had only origi and Sturridge

See the trick is not to be so inept in terms of strategy that you reach a point of desperation to either buy/sell players

JL, I had similar worries with Sterling's sale but we got the price we wanted (more or less). Neither selling or buying first is better, either way the other clubs always have the advantage as they have what we want (whether that's a player or the money).

It must be a conspiracy - no matter what the circumstances the other clubs have the advantage over us. The rascals.

Saying we need to sell some of them isn't the problem. The problem is finding some sucker to buy some of them - Balotelli in particular. Would you buy him?
