Ed002 wanted your thoughts on Gravenberch mate so you think it's a good signing for us that's fits in well with our system? I am pleased we have him looking forward to him starting.

I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do. At 21 there’s a lot of room for growth so I’m positive about the signing. Think it’s turned into a reasonable Window for Liverpool, though a shame the Lavia/ Caicedo shambles overshadowed everything.

Delighted with the signing with RG once we get it over the line. It’s not done yet. At his age and the experience he has he can do very well with us.

Whether we sign a defender or not, I feel our squad will be complete with this addition.

He has took far less players to great heights. Belief and direction.

Gravenberch has great fundamentals. It's his head. He's got so much time in front of him. I think Klopps going to have him on fire.

My problem with this signing is who is he going to bench, because he is complaining of playing time, and I doubt much will change @ lfc.

@LFL, we have seen lots of players get injured in the last two to three years. At the moment Thiago, Bajcetic and Jones are injured. We need depth in midfield. Gravenberch can cover a number of options for us and will get game time. It’s a bit like when Cody signed. There was concern he wouldn’t get a game too. He’s turning out to be not too bad.

Then it’s up to him to work hard and get in the team LFL. That will push others around him to work hard too.

Perhaps at Munich he felt it didn’t matter how hard he worked he just wasn’t getting his chance.

Klopp will definitely give him that.

We wanted an overhaul of the midfield.

Out Hendo, Fabs, Millie, Ox, Naby and Arthur
In Macca, Dom, Endo and Gravenberch

If you factor in Thiago, Curtis and Elliot we have gone from 9 players last year (although three hardly or didn’t play) to 7 this year. If Thiago plays the number of games he usually does the other 6 will get more than enough game time. Also worth noting that the average age of the midfield last season was 28.6, this season it’s 24.7, despite Thiago and Endo being 32 and 30 respectively.

We got the midfield overhaul.

With Nat gone (albeit on loan) let’s hope we can bring a left sided defender (fingers crossed Hincapie) as our final day surprise.

Personally don’t think Gravenberch is what we need as I think we need a double tough SOB defensive midfielder, BUT, he’s young, he wants to come here, he has a point to prove and he’s considered a big talent by some. He also doesn’t have injury issues which is a relief. He’s on a blank slate and hope he shows what he’s capable of. Good luck Ryan and welcome to Anfield.

Complained about game time because he only started 3 games last season. I’d be disappointed if a player was happy with that. Big talent wants the chance to play. Ed025, don’t bank in it? Meaning what mate? I’m assuming you don’t see the potential with Gravenberch like you do with nearly all of our players right back to when you said Pickford was better or equal to Allison.

{Ed025's Note - im just saying dont expect miracles from Gravenbirch DTD, i dont think he even started a game for Bayern mate who are not the force they once were in a pretty poor Bundesliga, obviously Klopp sees something in him otherwise you would not have paid over twice the price they paid for him last season, i could be wrong of course but that hasn,t happened since 1978 mate.. :)

We can play with the words etc and we obviously don't know 100% the story, but how Tuchel described the situation doesn't sound like a player just having a moan because he isn't being selected to play.
