Random question for ed01 and for the wider audience, thoughts on Luis Garcia?

I personally thought he was good but to be fair his goal against Juve in the champions league and chelsea “phantom goal” are the only two things I remember from his time, so bucketing him as good may just be selective memory.

{Ed001's Note - he was good but not great. I loved him for his effort and he had excellent technique but he lacked the quality to be more. I don't think he was helped by the way he was used, he would have been better as a modern wide forward rather than how Rafa used his wide men in my opinion.}

Loved Luis Garcia
Great in opposition half, can be careless in our own half
But gave us so many great memories and I believe Chelsea were sick of seeing him.

{Ed001's Note - that was the biggest issue, if he was in his own half he was almost a liability.}
