Rodrigo Bentancur is the type of bargain we need to find to boost our MF options. What a player he is turning out to be.

Weird, I played against him in football manager last night and I wondered how he was doing in real life as I don't watch other teams. I know he was highly rated at juventus earlier in his career, but haven't seen much of him.

OP, he plays in a park the bus system under Conte where he can’t get forward until Conte tells him to. We don’t play that way normally (until Ljinders’ galaxy brain showed up, at leat) so not sure how he’s going to thrive in a high press, high octane system if he’s never played it either at Juve or at Spurs. Just my take.

U bet most of atleti players who are hyped as elite level are profiting from the insane defensive way they play.

I remember being impressed by him when he broke into the Uruguay team. By the way, how impressive is it that a country as small as Uruguay (3x smaller than London) can produce so many good footballers.

He's got a great passing range and tempo about him. He lacks speed so probably more suited to playing in a two with someone more physical and quick beside him.

Flypelicanfly lol 3 times smaller than London I just snorted my OJ over my carpet.
A quick Google search will show that Uruguay is 1.4 times smaller than the whole of the UK. So basically they're approximately 77.% of the UK. London is roughly 17 billion square feet and Uruguay is approximately 1.8 trillion square feet.
Not having a go just thought I'd point that out. Your point about producing talent is correct though.

What the average Cockney is 3 times bigger than the average Uruguayan? They must be tiny!
