Lots of unsubstantiated gossip about Amorim to replace JK so 1.Do you have anything more concrete on him ie does he want to come as he has a preferential release clause for LFC and 2. Would in your opinion he be a better fit than De Zerbi?

{Ed002's Note - I think he would be open to the move but why would he have a preferential buy out clause for Liverpool? Both he an de Zerbi have good and growing reputations - hence the strong interest in him.}

I think Amorim will be coming to LFC. Why else would FSG hire a former sporting employee? No smoke without fire and all that. If it is Amorim, hopefully he can bring Ugarte with him ?.

I think Amorim is coming here, judging by Ornstein’s comments, and he’s rarely ever wrong. He as good as wrote off De Zerbi and said Amorim was a very strong contender.

I find that sad to be honest. You clearly haven't seen Ugarte play for almost a year as he joined PSG last summer yet you still want us to sign him. Just shows how some people just want a shiny new toy every summer.

Amorim looks like the 1, apparently 15 to 20 mill release clause to a European side. Fits the bill, very enthuastuc manager with a personality. Gutted Alonso didn’t take it up but I’m all in for Amorim now. However reports from guiiem balague says Alonso will manage Liverpool wtf is going on, get it done gag and soon.

David Ornstein has said Ruben Amorim is first choice and might have been first choice all along. Apparently FSG were aware Alonso was likely to stay at Bayer Leverkusen as that was the communication weeks ago. It was just the outside noice (media) that were acting like he was the first and only option for Liverpool. Oh, and thankfully Ornstein has completely ruled out De Zerbi.

Also, Pedro Sepulveda who is meant to be the Portuguese David Ornstein or Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Amorim is first choice and talks have already began. According to him talks are positive and if we pay the release clause which is around €15 million, he will become our new manager. Another rumour that was going around the last few days is that Barcelona have made a move for Amorim. As of this morning, Sepulveda has ruled out Barcelona
and said we are leading the race.

Anyways, I have learnt my lesson with Bellingham, Caicedo and Alonso not to think anything is a given until it has been officially signed and announced by the club. But I’ve got my fingers crossed because Amorim is a class act.

Thunderbird 2. How does my post translate into me wanting a shiny new toy each summer? I happen to want him as he's class, and just so happens to play in a position we need. Or rather needed (taking into consideration the performances of Endo) . We also need defensive reinforcements, so does that mean its sad for desiring that, or that they would be a shiny new toy as well? I swear people just come on here sometimes to jump on others posts.

You clearly haven't seen him play for almost a year, how do you know he is class? He could be having a terrible season, he could have broken his leg for all you know.

He's class based on what i have seen of him. It's irrelevant if he's having a stinker of a season or not. I haven't seen many players such as Chielsa for over a year either but you know he's class as well. You're just finding something/ anything pointless to bitch about my post about. Give it a rest lad.
