Hi Ed,
I was wondering if you could shed any light on the rumors linking us to Kai Havertz.
Personally, I think our squad is strong enough as it is but I'd like to know what you think.

{Ed002's Note - The situation remains the same as it has been regarding the future of Kai Havertz in that Bayern Munich are looking to complete his transfer next summer and the player is happy with that. There has been interest from a number of other sides including Barcelona, Arsenal and Chelsea, and both Manchester City Liverpool are likely looking at the situation but his future is largely mapped out and he is the subject of ongoing discussions with a move certainly happening in 2020. Bayern Munich are fearful that Barcelona will make a significant offer but he won't be first pick for them. I would forget him for now.}

I think we can rule out any German players for the foreseeable future as they predominantly all just end up at bayern/ Dortmund.

If coutinho turned out to be a big success and possibly thrive in a no.10 central role would that have any effect on bayerns plans to spend big money too on havertz I wonder?
