Thinking about goalkeepers. Maybe there will be movement in the next window (s) .

Caoimhin Kelleher wanting to be a starter and Celtic looking to upgrade. Plus, Adrian with eyes on returning to Spain and taking a HG spot as 3rd choice.

Do you know if the club see Jaros Vitezslav, Marcelo Pitaluga or Harvey Davies as ready to step up?

Previously Ron-Robert Zieler (HG) was mentioned as an option. Also, I believe Timo Horn is currently without a club.

Any thoughts on Liverpool's plans would as ever be greatly appreciated.

Isn't De Gea still without a club?

@Oh2b - he is and hopefully he finds a club far away from Liverpool. His best days are well behind him.

Golden glove winner in a poor team last season? Deserves to be at a decent club.

Aside from the fact that he's worse with his feet than Adrian, de Gea won't accept #2 status which is part of the reason he hasn't found another club and is apparently contemplating retirement.

I can at least give him credit for not going to Saudi Arabia though. I'm sure half the clubs there would take him in a heartbeat.

Oh and I forget to ask about Ferran Torres.

He looks ideal for Liverpool but I think he really wants to make it work at Barca.

Much thanks!

(. from the search I saw some chatter in August but nothing definitive regarding availability or Liverpool interest)

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool has shown no interest.}

Has Yeremy Pino been of interest recently and do you think he would be a good fit?

Thanks in advance!

{Ed002's Note - Yeremy Pino (RW/LW/AM) His agent spoke with Manchester City and Chelsea last summer about the player but Pino agreed a new contract at Villareal with a significant €80M buy-out clause and a contract to 2027. Manchester City have other targets to replace Mahrez. Chelsea have kept him on a list of potential wide players at the behest of an ex-player who was offered the job of DoF at the club. Barcelona opted for Raphina but would now be happy to move him on. His agent also spoke with Manchester United and proposed him as a potential Sancho replacement. Was orginally the first choice replacement for Pepe at Arsenal but is no longer, although they may retain an interest. Real Madrid have him on their lengthy list of potential replacesments for Eden Hazard. Prior interest of Liverpool as a Salah replacement will have gone.}

Hi Eds et al

Read some articles linking Takefusa Kubo as a possible Salah replacement. He has certainly started the season well. Left footed, versatile and good experience for a 22 year old.

Do you know if Liverpool has shown any interest and do you think he would be a good fit?

Appreciate any feedback and opinion.

{Ed002's Note - Takefusa Kubo (RW/LW) Move has worked out well for him. Real Madrid may look to invoke their buy-back option which is about hald his buy out clause. This season is going well for him and I doubt he would want to return to RM. Liverpool has shown no interest.}

@JLCBM

Surely this is a wind up. Mention "modern slavery" then sit back and watch the melt down. The alternative reading indicates you have some personal development issues.

My two penn'orth.

Matches are 90+ mins with likely only 60 mins open play. If a professional athlete cannot run around a pitch for an hour twice a week there's a major problem. Five subs, squad rotation, academy opportunities and utterly pampered off field.

Happy to lose some of the international fixtures and cup extra time but overall club-wise I don't see a problem. Players and coaches take self accountability. Live a healthy lifestyle, be a model professional and manage team selection based on health science.

Sadly injuries are part of the game but can be mitigated.

A couple of other names worth considering

Pedro Neto of Wolves. Seems to have come back strongly from a serious injury, Prem experience and good end product

Yeremy Pino was well thought of a while back, though heard little recently.

Eds, appreciate your thoughts on whether either would be a good fit for us or if there is any interest?
