If it's true that Lacazette is available but has turned down Newcastle - does this mean we have a chance?

Did Lyon actually accept an offer for him? If they didn't then it wasn't really him that rejected them was it, although I think he would.

Lyon haven't accepted a bid and the eds say he would most likely not be very keen on a move there, newcastle are looking to make a second bid which because lyon are hard to deal with, will most likely be rejected as well. Source ed002 (newcastle page)

Good bit of looking for the answer yourself there mate. don't know many, including myself, who go on other teams pages to find the answers. I tip my hat to you. I will try and do that instead of pestering the eds jn the future.

I know we are probably just spending the Suarez Money in advance to avoid inflationary reaction (a great plan that doesn't always go without saying). but can't remember the last time we were involved with so many exciting looking targets. Has anyone noticed that Sturridge has learned how to pass the ball, even when in sight of goal?
He's played a number of cracking through balls for England in the last couple of games. If he could be less greedy, I wouldn't be so 50/ 50 about whether to cash in or keep.

What? 50/ 50 about cashing in on him? Come off it, he's incredible and he's a Liverpool player. Leave it out.

Maybe change his contract to a more appearance based wage next time his contract is up but never sell the lad. We have enough cover now to allow for his injuries anyway. When he is fit he is one our best players.

I'm really surprised that only Zimbo mentioned the "shot straight at the keeper" issue. Every time! Most frustrating! But he works hard, presses hard and makes things happen at o und the box. Just needs to improve the end product.
(BTW has anyone seen the number of good through balls Studge has played for England? )
