You’ve got to laugh. People fuming we haven’t spent nearly 170m on two players who don’t have 50 premier league games between them but balk at 20m for an experienced player that is potentially cover, has captained his country in a world cup and is captain of his club. I’m looking at this as potentially a very astute signing with more money for two more players.
