Nonsense to sell your best player (s) . Success breads success. Keep your best players until they ain't the best any longer.
Get in the CL for next year and perhaps win a trophy or even the league. The club then sells itself to future players, managers, fans and whoever.
Build the momentum.

@ViktorVaughan Seems to have been turned down for the LFC Sporting Director role.
Richard Hughes and his gigabytes of of analysis might be better qualified.

The manager of Liverpool FC needs to be a tactical genius with the diplomatic skills of an UN Ambassador representing Liverpool.
I honestly believe we need a manager who has experienced the highs and lows of management and are excellent communicators.
On the footie side, I would say Emery or De Zerbie. On the communication front, I have no idea.
No rant, just some somber thoughts.
