The game Man Utd have played trying to spend like City has absolutely screwed them. Regardless of this weekend’s result, United have spent similar amounts to City yet have ended up with a dreadful squad and next to no trophies to show for it. It’s more than a decade since they won the league, and in that entire time they’ve not even challenged for it. Every year they continue this way, the financial advantage they have leveraged well and badly throughout the years gets smaller and smaller. In two or three years, Liverpool will be the highest-earning club in England and then United will have another problem. The current United is barely the same club as the one that dominated under Ferguson.

I'd make Brent DiCesare their manager. He seems to know a lot about playing football and has a lot of followers. Not sure he's ever been to a match, or has even played football, but since he changed his name to Mark Goldbridge, stopped supporting Notts Forest to comment on Man Utd to make a living, left his job as a copper and started his Youtube channel, but people like him for some reason.

Clear out the owners, clear out the lazy, toxic elements in the squad, improve the stadium or move elsewhere, focus recruitment on young players with high ceilings. Mad thing is, bar first suggestion, they have the financial means to do all of these other things if they wanted.
