My son and I were talking about what we see as Salah's decline over the past season. Yes, I know the stats are still good, and I'm more impressed with his vision an assists than I previously was, but that killer instinct seems to be lacking a bit.
A month ago and an offer of 100m and his wages off the book would have seemed like a no brainer for me. But at this stage in the window? I'm not so sure.

Agree Burkey - he is still exceptional, but no longer quite so unplayable as he was a couple of seasons ago. We would be mad to let him go now though, as there would be no chance to replace him and he’s still our best player IMO.

Let's say we let him go for 100m - that doesn't buy his replacement.

Salah guarantees 20+ goals a season, he's never injured and lives a clean life of the field - plenty left in the tank imo.

If CDMs are going for 100m, just image what it would cost to replace him. and who with?
