Sad to hear that Lucas Leiva has had to retire because of heart condition. I liked Lucas alot, always gave 100% and very underrated, and on top of it a lovely person.

Let's hope it's a speedy recovery and he can live a healthy life.

Never moaned, never wanted to do his own thing, he played for the team. Wishing him the very best in whatever he does next. YNWA.

That's sad, he is the poster boy for how a player can win over the fans.

Pity the LFC players this season have not took a leaf out of his book, as he gave his all in every LFC game he played.

One hope's also that the LFC players realise the real reason we have no game today is not because Fulham are still in the
FA Cup, but because performances in all competitions have not been of the standard required at this club, and never will be the standard required.

As this time last year we already had one trophy in the bag, and still chasing three others.

P. S. I realise we have won the Charity Shield this year, but in my book a Shield is not a Trophy! echoed by the fact that clubs are judged on major trophies won and charity shields are not included ( if they were included as many man utd fans want, they would be ahead of us in major trophies won) .

YNWA Lucas.

My favourite player, absolutely love him. Hope he sorts out his health issues and enjoys whatever he decides to do next. Would love to see him back at Liverpool in some role.

10 years at Liverpool, 5 years at Napoli. Not a bad career by any stretch.

He’s a classy guy, shown even more so in his retirement ?.

His first five years or more he was regarded as a poor player by a fair percentage of fans - let’s have it like it is.

He came to us the year after being voted the best player in the Brazilian league, as a No. 10. His early struggles may have been due to his being played as a DM.

Nevertheless, a classy man who gave his all for the club. And you can't ask for more. Never complained, and never hit back at all the criticisms. Came in with head up and left with his head up too. I never read anything from him, after he left, saying anything negative about the club, unlike other players who couldn't wait to diss Klopp and the club (Shaqiri comes to mind, the jerk) . Continued to support the club and the players. YNWA Lucas Leiva.

This is a football forum TopG but I did spend some time working at the biggest medical school in Europe (Manchester University) and my advice to you is take a closer look at the clinical data instead of relying on social media.
