Dear Mr Elon Musk, i hope your well. I hear you might be interested in buying a football club. Could i suggest you enquire about a club from the northeast of England called Liverpool fc. I think you might like the area there is a beatles museum and cilla black is from the same city. If i was rich i would buy one of your very nice cars, yours sincerely a very worried supporter of said club.

Always be careful what you ask for, because sometimes you get it.

Hello Finglasred, A poster next to me own heart, he is the only very rich man who will never settle for second or lower in his life, he does not like counting money much prefers to spend it. His current net worth is £254 billion, that's like me and you losing a pound and not be worried about it. Mind you he will go to man utd, because a wagon load of dynamite won't shift our owners, LFC is their own personal "Piggy Bank" which no one will ever get their hands on, we missed the oil rich crowd who took over Newcastle (£420 Billion) , Musk will go to man utd unfortunately, as he will be welcomed with open arms, as the door is firmly shut in his face here.

I'd sooner see the club go under than a fruitcake like him be associated with it.

No billionaires are good guys. We’re sponsored by Standard Chartered and Axa we’re in no position to be on a high horse.

Even if Musk was a lovely bloke, what would be the huge benefit of Musk ownership?

Getting him to sponsor the club with Tesla and SpaceX so we can dodge FFP? Sounds an awful like what we accuse Man City of. No thanks.

How can he buy something that isn't up for sale in the first place?

What is wrong with Elon Musk? He earned his money through legitimate means. Good for him. Does disagreeing with you politically make him a nefarious person? Triggering a few snowflakes on twitter is a bit different to human rights violations. It's ridiculous you are comparing the two. Peak Orange Man Bad syndrome.
